From Promise to Disappointment
"Crash Course in Romance" is a drama that effectively portrays the struggles of students and the dynamics between them, their school, and their private institute teachers. The first eight episodes were well-executed, highlighting the immense pressure parents face regarding their children's education, the students' struggle to maintain their grades, and the magnitude of the private education industry. I was deeply invested in the drama until it took a downturn. The female lead's character was a disappointment. She attempted to portray a saint-like figure, which didn't resonate with me. Her wardrobe was another aspect of the drama that I found lacking. I understand that her character worked in a small restaurant and wouldn't necessarily dress up for work, but her attire, even during her time off, was reminiscent of a grandmother's. Even for formal events, her outfits were less than appealing. While I understand her character is portrayed as poor, it's reasonable to assume that everyone has at least one decent outfit for formal occasions.
The casting of the actress for this role was a misstep. She wasn't suitable for a character in her mid-30s as she appeared too old. The narrative continually emphasized that she was too young to have a child, yet she looked older than the other mothers. Furthermore, there was no chemistry between her and the male lead.
The thriller/murder subplot felt unnecessary and didn't add any value to the main storyline.
Overall, despite its flaws, "Crash Course in Romance" was a good drama.

Unraveling Emotions and Morality: A Personal Take on ‘Judge Dee’s Mystery'
I personally enjoyed this drama and finished it in just a few days. At first, I hesitated to watch because I didn’t find the male lead attractive. But I still gave it a try. In the end, it was able to keep me interested until the end. For me, this was a good drama. It made me question moral standards sometimes. I kept thinking about what was right and what was wrong while watching this drama, especially in the later episodes. This drama kept me wondering for days about things happening in the real world, about human emotions - greed, anger, ignorance, dislike, love, desire, hatred. It wasn’t as bad as others said. The plot is engaging, with a good balance of suspense, drama, and romance. The storyline progresses at a steady pace, keeping the viewers hooked till the end. The unexpected plot twists add an element of surprise, making the drama all the more intriguing. This deserved a higher rating.Questa recensione ti è stata utile?

I watched 'Nothing But You' (NBY) after watching 'Amidst a Snowstorm of Love'. Compared to the latter, I really didn't enjoy NBY as much. The main leads lacked chemistry, and it didn't matter to me whether they ended up together or not. It was annoying that Song Sanchuan always lowered himself for Jiang Youan. I didn't observe much personal growth, especially in Song Sanchuan. I kind of wished the drama was more about the players. It would have been better if they showed more about tennis than political issues and romance. Unlike 'Amidst a Snowstorm of Love', which sparked my interest in billiards, NBY didn't make me interested in tennis. I felt this drama lacked bromance.
The male lead had major traumas and psychological issues, but they never showed him getting treated properly. This could have been a much better drama, but at its best, it was average.
I still enjoyed parts of it, but a lot of the time, I was simply bored and hoping it would end.

Love and Billiards: An Engaging Journey through Amidst a Snowstorm of Love
Amidst a Snowstorm of Love is a captivating tale of love and resilience against the backdrop of a beautiful winter. The drama takes the audience on a wonderful journey. The storyline progresses at a steady pace, keeping the viewers hooked until the end.The characters are well-developed, each having their unique traits and arcs. The actors have done a commendable job, bringing their characters to life and making them relatable to the audience. This is a romance drama without annoying secondary couples, focusing mainly on the main couple. The only secondary couple slightly focused on didn’t annoy me, who usually skip secondary couple parts in most of dramas. They made me want to know about more of their story.
The visuals are stunning, with the snow-laden landscapes providing a perfect setting for the unfolding drama. The costumes are well-designed, reflecting the characters’ personalities. The soundtrack, with beautiful melodies, complements the drama’s peaceful and calming mood.
Personally, I thoroughly enjoyed watching “Amidst a Snowstorm of Love”. The drama’s exploration of billiards made me keep searching the internet about pool games and players, a game I was never interested in. The tournament part was well done. Overall, the balance between romance and sport was well maintained; we got enough of both sides.
In conclusion, “Amidst a Snowstorm of Love” is a drama that keeps you engaged until the end. I liked its peaceful and calming atmosphere without villains, and the bromance between the three players. It’s a drama to watch when you want peace in your mind, which you can watch when you are stressed.
