Moon River is not Boys Over Flowers but it sure is darn entertaining. The main lead, Ming Xao Xi is a martial artist who gets accepted to the prestigious college Gaung Yu University. There she encounters the cold but insanely popular and handsome Mu Liu Bing, Feng Che and Dong Hao Nan. Her existence shakes up the entire school and even the close friendships of the popular kids as she falls into a unique relationship with the leader of the trio. So while this plot sounds very similar to the Boys Over Flowers/Meteor Garden/Hana Yori Dango series, the show pulls in you and keeps you anticipating with laughs, cute romantic bits and the oh so bad drama-addict habit of clicking to the next episode right after finishing one. (You know that kind of habit...it's 1 O'clock in the morning; you've watched about 10 episodes in one setting; so you think to yourself just one more; and so you watch one more, but by the time you call it quits its sunrise?)

This drama has both its pro's and it's cons. The cons being the loops in the plot, the "unnecessary" drama and dare I say, the acting from the main leads who can sometimes come off as either annoying or "what is that face you're making!?" (Though I have to say I have to give Tseng Pets her cred for rocking that ugly bowlcut and old grandma getup/toe socks throughout the entire series while still acting out Xiao Xi in a way that was realistic and fun.)

The story starts off really well and builds nicely towards the romance. For all the romantic drama lovers, if you are like you me, (a crazy fool for cute romantic skinship and words) you will definitely enjoy the romance that takes off here. While the beginning and the romance makes for the beginnings of a good drama, the downfall comes near the end where you may or may not feel content with the ending.

While this drama doesn't exactly hit right out of the park, it is still a good watch and I'd recommend this show to anyone who is looking for something to watch. There is humor, romance and action all in one. This drama also shows the growth of Ming Xiao Xi as she tries to find her place in a new environment and adjust to the blissfulness and sourness of love. This isn't the type of drama you would take seriously, seeing as there are many similarities here with Boys Over Flowers, however what makes this series stands out is the main heroine Ming Xiao Xi and her great resilience to overcome different obstacles that occurs in her life and through her special relationship with the 3 princes of Gaung Yu.

Overall I give this drama an 8.0 for making me the crazy drama fangirl I am for skipping study sessions just to watch each episode as it was released. The music was excellent here (The Intro is hella addicting and the ending music is my most favorite song from this OST [Sung by Pets Tseng]]) and this is a drama I can say for certain you will want to re-watch.

Oh My Ghost can be a hit or miss for some! The romance is butterfly stirring, the comedy will leave you laughing out loud and the suspense will leave you shaking on the edge of your seat. This drama was pretty decent yet the story line , not so much. It's not that I had an issue with the acting nor the characters; it was just the storyline of this drama could have been done better. At times, it felt like this drama struggled to decide what kind of drama it wanted to be; a romantic comedy, a melodrama, a mystery, a thriller...it just seemed all over the place and there were many parts ( and characters) of this drama I wished the writers could have spent more time on rather than rushing the main focus of this drama on the back burner in the last 4 episodes.

The acting here was one of a kind. The actors appeared to have great chemistry and Park Bo Young delivers another great role as the shy/timid Na Bong Sung and my favorite loud/pervy Soon Ae! I found her actions to be very alike to Kim Seul Gi's (Soon Ae) acting style which was very impressive! Another great performance was of Jo Jung Suk (Chef Seon Woo) and Im Joo Hwan who plays Officer Choi!

If I were to re watch this show, I'd only spend it on the moments of romance. This drama delivers in the Romance department and also talks about a certain topic that isn't really talked about in drama land. These 16 episodes went by really quickly for me. I have to say I was really fond of episode 15, which really redeemed the entire series (in my opinion of course). Depending on whose team you're supporting, you'll find yourself wrapped into the love triangle. Overall, I give this drama an 8 based solely on the acting.

If you ever see a 10 for acting, then you know it's a must watch!

I did not have much expectations when I first saw the announcement of the drama on Dramafever, however after much delay, I marathoned the entire series between 2 days. Cheer up is another school drama that both delivers and fails at the same time. If you've enjoyed watching, School 2013/2015 or Angry Mom, then this is the drama for you. This drama pretty much covers both of the same issues such as bullying, school corruption and of course, a head spinning love triangle that spins until the very end.

The acting was pretty decent. Eunji as Kang Yeon Doo felt natural and she was funny and cute in her own way. The lead male Lee Won Gun as Kim Yeol was a particular character you either liked or disliked. (Though it's hard to dislike him when his smile melts your heart like a puppy.) The promising actor Ji Soo as Seo Ha Joon also felt natural and quickly became my favorite character of the show. Though I won't say the acting was bad, it was easy to tolerate with a good cast with good chemistry.

The story line starts off really nice and the plot thickens as the issues spring up. My only complaint has to be towards the ending of the drama where I felt some of the issues were unresolved. The drama ends up pretty nicely but still leaves more to be desired. And while the whole bullying, school corruption, love triangle thing becomes typically cliched in dramaland, Cheer Up offers a refreshing take of youth enduring and overcoming obstacles and making friendships.

What I like about this drama is that it's easy going and easy to follow. The story doesn't drag and flows nicely. The cute and funny moments make for a light hearted watch. I would recommend this drama, despite it's minor flaws.

This drama was a pretty decent drama. Honestly, there were some moments when I found myself a bit bored, but as the story went on, a lot of things happened to keep my interest. The twists were unexpected and there were several moments where I laughed and cried. There were moments where I would feel chills and sometimes it felt realistic.

The cast did a pretty good job with this plot even though sometimes the main female actress seemed inconsistent. However I found actor Kim Jae Wook as "Lee Hyun Joo" refreshing to watch. (Even if he didn't have many speaking parts.)He was definitely the character I anticipated to see more of as the episodes went by.

Overall everything seemed pretty decent even though the ending I could have lived without.

Funny. Charming. Romantic. If I were to describe this special, these are the three words I would choose. This is a 2 part special that passes quickly with time due to the heart stirring and funny moments in this drama. Kim Seul Gi is one of my favorite comedic actresses and she does not fail to entertain as the main female role here. And cute guy Doojoon is wickedly handsome all the while possessing good talent as a charismatic actor. As much as I enjoy a good time travel drama, I also enjoy a nice romance paired with good chemistry. If you're a romantic type of person, I think you'll find the romance scenes here pleasing and just darn cute. It's a fun watch with a good story and a nice plot.

Definitely I would recommend this to anyone.

Even though I believe Five Fingers made for an interesting plot and it had it's moments where I couldn't help but keep my eyes glued to my screen, I believe this drama failed short. I think what made me really become interested in this story line was the revenge between Ji Ho and Chae Young. While this story starts off like Baker King, the plot travels on to a bunch of what? and huh? The relations between a step mother and her step son, an evil half brother who wants revenge... Watching the characters break down (some even loosing their humanity) kept me wondering just how will this all become resolved? While that was a good aspect of the drama, the writer somehow fell flat with this production and left me wondering, what the hell just happened? Especially with the romance relationships which lacked chemistry and sense. While I will admit Chae Si Ra did a wonderful job playing as an evil mother, I couldn't stand the bitter end of her personality change towards the final episodes. If you've watched Baker King : Kim Tak Gu then you will definitely get the "seen that...been there before" stigma going. If you haven't, well then you just might think it was the best drama you've seen in a while.

Honestly this drama is a good watch! In some ways it differ's from your average k-drama. There's 4 handsome guys and a tuff main leading woman that carries this drama to the end. I should say that some of the things that happen in this drama could be what you call "over doing it" and there are some parts where there are "over-acting", but none the less, this gives you just the right emotions that you would want when watching a drama. The plot moves along accordingly and the acting ranges from "Well Done" to "ehhhh..." I would definitely recommend this drama to anyone whose a fan of Lee Min Ho and loves a drama romance that's hard to forget!

A Love Story with a lot of family drama.

The appeal of older man/younger relationships being told for dramas may not be your cup of tea but Young Lady and Gentlemen follows the story of Park Dan Dan and Lee YoungGuk's trivial and complicated love. In between there you have a list of family drama that just seems to never end. What I became most frustrated with in this drama was the story telling. The writers came up hearth breaking situations that didn't actually depict relatable emotions. There were a lot of unnecessary anger and frustration with character developments, character relationships and even plots that just made no sense. What started off promising and to a good start eventually became a train wreck. The most controversial piece about this drama was the relationship between Park Dan Dan and her father who had practically raised her after his wife abandoned them. He was very over protective of his daughter and went out of his way to disregarded the life that she practically made for herself after leaving home. The romance in the drama bloomed for almost everyone but Park Dan Dan and YoungGuk which really delayed story progression over time. Yet the moments when we found the leads together always wanted us craving more.

There were times in this drama that really made it painful to watch because of the story taking a "twist" that shouldn't have ever existed. All in all I could understand the story that the writers were trying to relay, I just think the writers did a bad job relaying them. Overall, this drama did keep me coming back week after week and I think it was mainly due to the main leads interest into one another. I craved for more romantic scenes and more deepening conversations about Young Guk's past/Dan Dan's past and their relationship actually blooming through the midst of chaotic family drama but unfortunately we didn't get that. I don't think I'll re-watch this drama.

I found Revolutionary Love to be a nice comedy with minimal romance, somewhat unpleasant characters and watchable given that you don't take a lot of this drama all too serious in terms of the scripting or romance aspect. There were certain things with the drama that hit out the park for me and some that just made me want to turn it off and stop watching, but I watched anyway. The good you ask? The comedy. Choi Siwon plays as Byeon Hyuk, an almost dim witted rich kid who goes around causing "misunderstandings" everywhere that leads into trouble. He's naive and clueless about how normal people live and or make a living, but he's also loyal, caring and becomes a forthright individual who believes in doing the right thing even when it conflicts with his own family and personal life. Then we have Kang Sora playing as Baek Jun, a smart and optimistic woman who believes in asserting her skills through only part time work while working various part time jobs to survive living off of a roof top. What I like about the main male/female lead is that we weren't thrown into an immediate rich guy and poor girl situation. You know when the male lead flexes on the poor girl and showers her all these crazy stuff. Byeon Hyuk has a personality where he finds learning about living a normal life is exciting and finds an instant strong attraction for Baek Jun being a straight forward and honest woman who believes in equal treatment of human beings no matter what role they serve/play in society. Seeing the roles switch of the rich guy enjoying a simple life where he learns to mature was quite pleasant to see. Another good? Some of the scenarios were pretty decent and I didn't feel that we needed the main focus to be on the relationship. What was the common good for Revolutionary love is that we see how Byeon Hyuk evolves as a mature and forthright individual thanks in part to Baek Jun and his family leaving him out cold. Now here comes the bad. The abusive family dynamics and messed up drama. We know every family is not perfect. But in this case, Byeon Hyuk's family was ridiculous. We never get to see why his brother turns on him or harbors disdain for him. We don't see them reconcile either. We do not understand why the father has such a horrible temper but still maintains a good relationship with his father. The fact that Byeon Hyuk still cares so highly of his dad even when he gets stomped on confuses and angers me. And Byeon Hyuk's friend Je Hoon, we never get a moment when he reconciles with his father who he has resented for years working practically as a slave for Hyuk's family. Those were horrible and bad on the part of the writers. Another bad, Baek Jun and her flip flop attitude. Lets just say she is not the only damaged child there so when she was lashing out on Hyuk, I just don't understand how she could be so friendly one moment and then rude the next. The romance teases but doesn't do much. I actually like that aspect as sometimes romance can over take the drama and knock it from grace. All in all, I watched this drama with no expectations and just valued it for what it is. I personally think Choi Siwon did a decent job and over all this drama really hit the spot for me during quarantine.
