I'm a big fan of mermaids, fantasy and all that jazz, so when I heard about this movie, I had to give it a try. Attempting to find it with English subs was a challenge, but I was able to watch a version dubbed in my language.

Overall story was basic, easy to follow, and romance is not over the top cheesy. I liked the supernatural aspects of the story. Like the others say, it is a Beauty and the Beast retelling with a twist. It's not completely out of nowhere, but it's a little different. I don't like toxic relationships, so I was a bit turned off by the FL's husband.

Music is forgettable, unfortunately.
