I've been a fan of Korean Dramas for years now and I've watched many, but about a year ago I wanted to try something new. I thought that since I love American/British historical dramas I should try some historical Kdramas, but unfortunately I couldn't  get into them. I then decided to check out Chinese historical dramas and I was completely blown away. 

The first one I watched was "The Love by Hypnotic." The show pulled me with its beautiful cinematography, music and costumes. I had never seen anything like this before and so I ended up devouring all the Chinese historical dramas I could find. 

The one that impacted me the most was "Princess Silver." I fell in love with the story, characters and the acting was just phenomenal.  So much so that I made the main character Rong Le my profile picture. 

I primarily watch those right now but occasionally I'll check out a Kdrama if the synopsis interests me. 

Since I've gotten into cdramas I've tried some of the popular ones such as "Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms," "Ashes of Love," and "The Untamed." But I personally couldn't get into them and I've realized that I just don't enjoy the Xianxia genre. No disrespect to those shows though!

My list needs to be updated since it doesn't reflect all the shows that I've seen.
