All Is Well In Love
Ye Shi Lan is a pediatrician who harbors hurt from a failed relationship as well resentment towards her father's suicide. Due to hospital politics, she was banned to Tao Yuan Village as a volunteer doctor. On her 7th month there, a stranger by the name of Lu Zhao Xi finds his way to the village infirmary due to him driving into a landslide accident. Furthermore, due to the heavy rain and thunderstorm all handphone signals were out, due to the village location. Shi Lan and Zhao Xi's relationship gets off to a bad start. Not believing that Zhao Xi is her hospital's new incoming President, she mistakes him for a swindler. It is during this time at the village that Zhao Xi finds himself attracted to Shi Lan.Upon his return to the city hospital, he arranges for her to return from the village to the hospital, making her his temporary office assistant. As he continues to pursue her in a most delightful way, Shi Lan, a pessimist when it comes to love and relationship tries to turn away from his advances ....and slowly but surely, he wins her over. However, their love is not without trials and tribulation.
I enjoyed this drama very much as the two main leads have good chemistry together. Their relationship is mature.
Communication between the two are forthcoming and lots of hugging and kissing, emanating a feel good sensation throughout the show. It is really nice to watch a drama where the gentleman is so together, confident and understanding when it comes to loving a woman. As the show focused mainly on healthy relationships, not only of the two main leads, but also Zhao Xi's parents and Zhao Xi's Personal Assistant Lin Kai Wen and Shi Lan's best friend Yao Jia Jia, there were many episodes that just kind of sailed along, which dragged a bit for me. However, I held on for all the hugs and kisses. Many scenes between the two also brought about giggles and laughter. I am glad I watched the drama to it's completion.

A Slow Melodramatic Drama.....
Tale as old as time. Adopted sibling Qing Qing grows up with her beloved brother Qin Lang. Their closeness, had to be apart for 10 years when Qin Lang is taken to live in France by his parents. Upon his return home, his feelings upon seeing Qing Qing again, seals their feeling of love for each other, only to be thrown into guilt and confusion. Choosing to do the right thing by the elders who do not agree to their relationship. With this, their hearts and mind are full of un-certainties. This to and fro emotion and action carries out throughout the drama which is very frustrating. However, Qin Lang's very understanding girlfriend Fen Fang and the handsome and mature Shi Ang who was pursuing Qing Qing made the drama bearable to watch. Even the jealous and difficult sister's tantrum came as a relief at some point in this melodramatic slow drama. After a long watch of 32 episodes, the ending was open ended and left us wondering??? ?♀️
Moving on..... and not looking back.

75 Minutes Of Good Chemistry
This is one mini-series which is worth the time to watch. Playing only for 1 hour and 25 mins, broken down to 3 mins per episode. The story is about "forced marriages" which is pretty much predictable when it comes to it's storyline. Man forced to marry Woman. Beginning not interested, but slowly falls in love with her. Have mis-understanding, divorce. 5 years later, meet again and the Man pursues the Woman in full determination........This drama was not perfect and average if compared to many main-stream ones with strong writing and casting, BUT the male lead Bai Hao Yan (Sheng Nan Fang) did not disappoint. Supported by Feng Yi Ran (Shao Yan), their chemistry was over the roof, which made the drama quite memorable for me. If you are game for 75 minutes of light entertainment and burning love, watch this drama.

Quirky, Adorable" Xiao Hua" And That's About It
This drama featured 14 years ago with the forever cute and delightful Rainie Yang as Xiao Hua. She would have been 24 years old then. I do not think there will be any other actress who can showcase Xiao Hua the way she did. Absolutely on point.Xiao Hua is quirky, have her own strange way of dressing, adorable, transparent and wears her heart on her sleeve. She owns her own jewelry accessory shop and lives with her dad and grandmother.
The whole drama revolves around Jia Si Le (childhood friend) and Tang Men (played by Will Pan) who loves Xiao Hua, and Jiang Mi who is in love with Jia Si Le. A triangle of sorts, and with that comes lots of drama and mis-understanding sending cute Xiao Hua into a frenzy. In her silliness, smarts and honesty (Xiao Hua who has a good heart, strong determination and love for everyone around her), one cannot help but root for her as she tries to sort out all the complication around her.
The storyline, the characters and production are nothing much to shout about. Acting all round were pretty average. I only watched this drama because of Rainie Yang. She did a really good job of bringing so much color to her character. Understanding Mandarin will help immensely, to appreciate the way Xiao Hua expresses herself. I laughed so much. There were many laughable moments, like why she needs to give every object she likes a 'name'?. She gave a hairdryer the name "hu-hu", when asked why, she said, if there is no name, "How can I greet them??" . There were also moments in her character's simplicity and innocence brought tears to my eyes.
In this drama, I was also keen to see talented singer Will Pan and Rainie's chemistry, which was fun to watch. Unfortunately, Will's acting left much to be desired, but enjoyed his pairing with Rainie. The music and theme songs did not disappoint, reminiscing with Rainie's "Take Me Away" (Dai Wo Zou) and Will's "Summer Madness" (Xia Re Feng).
If you like romantic comedy, lots of silly light entertainment, this would be a drama you will like.

Burning Love
Not sure if it was the male lead Fang Tian Yu's 'caveman' approach to love, ravaging the female lead Ting Yao right from the start of the drama OR the mystery behind Tian Yu's nephew Fang Yu Ze OR the scheming ways of Ting Yao's half sister Yan Er that kept me interested, but I surprisingly finished watching this drama. Filled with a tacky script and corny scenes, this 30 episodes of 10 minutes each show filled up 5 hours easily for me. One also cannot deny that the 'burning' love between Tian Yu and Ting Yao is one of the most consistent demeanor that kept audiences glued to this drama. If 'burning love' (driven initially by revenge) is your cup of tea, then you will enjoy this drama.Questa recensione ti è stata utile?
Nice Love Story
You love who you love. This drama depicts just that. Female pretends to be male heir (Prince Lee Hwi) to the throne, engulfed in drama and secrecy. At the same time, she must also hide her love for a man whom she loved from her childhood. However, attraction is strong between them, with him thinking that he is in love a man! How interesting to watch as the truth unfolds. A series of emotions, attraction and eventually adult love, which I found enjoyable to watch. The chemistry between the two leads Eun Bin and Rowoon is matched well. A really nice love story.Questa recensione ti è stata utile?
A Pleasant Drama
This drama is not the type that will grab your attention at "get go" nor does it drive you to binge watch the entire drama in one or two days. However, the story is enticing enough to take you to the end with the main leads, the scenery, the delightful dishes and a good theme song.ML, Yu Hao is the owner of a fresh food company, sponsors and participates in a food show to promote his company. However, he does not know how to cook. So, he hires a double to make dishes on the show. This makes his team un-comfortable and in time, this was exposed to the public, which makes his fans lash out negatively affecting his company image. During this time Yu Hao's PR team also left him due to his bad temper. In comes, Su Ke Lan, who takes over temporarily. She somehow manages to ease the relationship/tension between Yu Hao and the Program team. On top of this, she also managed to talk Yu Hao to understand and learn cooking himself.
Su Ke Lan then teaches him to cook. Not only was she successful in getting him to love cooking, she also manages to warm Yu Hao's heart turning him from a cold and ruthless person to an open and gentle person. Though at the core of his character, Yu Hao is a really nice person but has problem showing them due to early childhood issues with his family. By having Su Ke Lan by his side, through the way she teaches him to cook, she slowly teaches him how to communicate and interact with the people around him through food.
A pleasant drama to watch.

Enjoyable Drama, Not Bad At All, Except
I was pleasantly surprised with this drama. The story evolves around six good looking flying cadets in their 20's who are on their journey to become full-fledged pilots. Needless to say, working in the Airlines, love, relationships, trials and tribulation during training and work become the driving force of this drama's storyline which played out really well.I found all the parental relationships with their respective children were interesting to watch and relatable. Cadet, Zhou Yu Hang who furiously pursued his Senior female Pilot/teacher had me laughing and amused. The intense Cadet, Jiang Yi Ming who detests women, whom he thinks only go after men for their money (moduled by his mother), fears to give in to his love for Meng Ran, and yet he cannot seem to ignore his deep attraction to her.
The only drawback for me was the lack of chemistry between the main leads Li Shu (Riley Wang) and Cheng Cheng (Li Ting Ting). Though I have no qualms with Li Shu's character, I found Cheng Cheng's character all over the place, displaying her immaturity throughout which was a bit hard to watch.
Hopefully, Season 2 will give us a much more passionate and well suited main leads as they mature.
Other than this, the storyline is really good and I am glad I managed to watch the 24 episodes drama, which was only 30 mins per episode. A real quick and enjoyable watch.

Do Not Miss This Drama. Must Watch
This drama is by far one of the most entertaining 'zombie' dramas which I have come across. I loved "Train To Busan" which aired in 2016 and no other Zombie movie or drama has come close, until now.All Of Us Are Dead gives us a refreshing perspective of how Zombies are dealt with by teenage students from a Korean High School. One would think that it will be kid stuff. As I entered it's first episode, I found that nothing about the show is 'kiddish'. This is one drama that had me on the edge of my seat right until the last episode. The speed of which human transformed into Zombies was mind boggling and to see the students having to think on their feet and coping with disagreements, friendship, love, sacrifice and even putting their studies to good use, enthralled me, as they kept moving forward to save themselves in throes of un-certainty.
All the teenagers in this drama deserve compliments for their acting especially Yoon Chang Young (Chung San) and Park Soloman (Soo Hyuk). There were nine of them who carried most of the episodes, and their friendship was comfortable to watch. They truly had each others' back.
Regardless of which genre of dramas you belong to, this drama is worth the day and time for you to sit back and make time to watch. The show is well directed, acting met the mark, the scenes well captured and most important, the Zombies performed in perfection. I watched a 'behind the scene' for this show and all the actors took many hours to rehearse their Zombie movement. Such dedication was well reflected and brought much authenticity to the drama.
I look forward to the continuation of "All Of Us Are Dead". The show left us in anticipation of what could have happened to some of the transformed students and all other possibilities. I look forward to watching all the savvy, kick ass students coming together in their continued journey to survive amongst Zombies ..... or not?
This series is highly recommended for you to watch. Do not carry a high expectation, in case you get disappointed. Perhaps, just keep an open mind.
Enjoy!

Good Chemistry With Two Main Lead Actors
I enjoyed watching this series mainly due to the two main leads of Wallace Chung and Seven Tan. Wallace of course, a seasoned actor and brings just the right amount of dignity, charisma, charm and strength that comes with the the role General Xu Ling Yi. The choice of Seven in the role as wife Shi Yi Niang was a little 'iffy' with me at first, but I found her acting pretty impressive as I watched on. She held her own and saw the side of her acting maturity that went really well with Wallace.A period drama with family politics, concubines' jealousy, enemies plotting, upholding ancestral law, were all interesting and went at a comfortable pace. However, what stood out the most is the 'love' theme between Xu Ling Yi and Shi Yi Niang. Two people thrown together in marriage based on 'circumstances', which began with some friction, eventually growing into a deep love which placed trust, maturity, patience, communication and relationship first before sexual and physical desires. To see such partnership regardless in a period or modern day drama, never gets old and really enlightening to watch.

The Best Family Drama Ever
This is the first time ever in my life to watch a 53 episode Korean family drama and I am so pleasantly surprised that I enjoyed it so thoroughly. Everything about this drama was on point and I liked it from the very first episode. The characters in this drama from the very warm and loving father, Soon Bong to his three children, daughter Kang Shim (Kim Hyun Joo) , son Gang Jae (Yoon Park) and youngest boy Dal Bong (breakthrough performance Park Hyung Shik) are so good, one would think they are a real life family. The extended family in Soon Bong's devoted sister, her daughter and her son-in law who lives with them, adds so much more drama and reality of two family units living in one house. And I definitely enjoyed the added characters of Kang Shim's eccentric but kind-hearted boyfriend, Gang Jae's rich family's wife and Dal Bong's delightful and loving Seo Wool (played by talented Nam Ji Hyun).
I laughed so much, I cried so much, I felt every emotion that the drama was putting out there for us to enjoy. With many who liked this drama very much, to me, this is also the Best Family Drama I have ever watched.
If you like Family Drama's, this is one you should not miss.
Cheers!

DR. ROMANTIC 2, EQUALLY AS GOOD AS SEASON 1, DR. ROMANTIC! DO NOT MISS THIS!
I watched Dr. Romantic 2 almost immediately after the first season and found it as entertaining and as captivating. Teacher Kim (Han Seok Kyu) continues with his mentoring of a new set of doctors whom he hires from a top medical hospital in Seoul. His first set of mentees Dr. Yoon went to continue her studies in USA, Dr. Kang volunteered to work on an Island hospital and Dr. Do returned to Geosan Hospital in Seoul. As the countryside Doldam Hospital is not exactly on the top of first year medical doctors list to apply, Teacher Kim managed to scout three doctors, one eager to learn from him and two who have personal issues to deal with. Not only does Teacher Kim have to deal with these doctors, but he also continue to face the Dr. Do Yoon Wan (Geosan Hospital Director) who is determined to destroy him and his career. Every episode is so fast paced and good to watch. The new couple of Dr. Seo (Ahn Hyo Seop) and Dr. Cha (Lee Sung Kyung) subtle love story is also well placed in this season. Dr. Do Im Bum's (Yang Se Jong) guest appearances on Episodes 10, 14 and 15 added a lot of fondness, respect and nostalgia between his relationship with Teacher Kim which is settling to watch. It truly connected the first and second season beautifully.
I must say that the Dr. Romantic series has gone way beyond my expectation of a medical drama. Not only was it a good watch for me in Season 1, but to also enjoy Season 2 is truly a first for me.

NOT YOUR TYPICAL MEDICAL DRAMA, A GREAT WATCH FROM START TO FINISH
This drama sat in my watchlist for a year. Did not know what the hype was about and did not care, as I am not into medical dramas until I ran out of shows to watch this year. Clicked on it to see if the first episode was interesting enough, and OH MY GOODNESS! This drama is so good, it hit the ground on Episode 1 and kept moving with a strong pace, great acting and medical cases which has a rather different take.I liked how everything centered around Teacher Kim (Han Seok Kyu) who is highly experienced, steadfast and passionate doctor who was framed for a case not of his doing and left a top medical hospital in Seoul to the countryside Doldam Hospital. There he keeps a really low profile and goes on with his work as Head Surgeon until one by one, doctors like Dr. Yoon Seo Jung (Seo Hyun Jin), Dr. Kang Dong Joo (Yoo Yeon Seok) and Dr. Do Im Bum (Yang Se Jong) somehow through different circumstances land to work in Doldam. Each arrives with own problems, insecurities and arrogance, but Teacher Kim is no pushover, and whips them up one by one, in his own quirky way but with much care and passion.
There is no such thing as a doctor's triple board certification, the way Doldam Hospital is managed with so much doctor's free will, with comings and goings and the medical cases may appear far fetched, but the dramatical effect is worth the effort and really entertaining. The drama was so well written and directed. The love story between Dr. Yoon and Dr. Kang played subtly in the background was well placed. And Dr. Do (Yang Se Jong) was my eye candy, so cool, handsome and good in his role.
20 episodes went by so fast for me, I just could not get enough of this really remarkable drama ........ oh, I see there is a Dr. Romantic 2!!!

A Delightful High School Teen Drama
A high school teen drama with an interesting twist of a "Sweet Revenge" phone app made available to really nice, cute girl called Goo Hee. Needless to say, nice, cute girls in dramas are often bullied and on her first day reporting for high school, she meets Ji Hoon on a bus, where she forgot to top up her bus card. Their first exchange was not a comfortable one. However, soon they realize, not only do they take the same bus to school everyday, they also attend the same class. As expected, their familiarity slowly progresses to infatuation to fondness, then (ahem) love.Yes, the story is predictable and nothing new. And yet, the drama garnered sufficient interest from me. The actors were casted well for their roles, the two leads were suited together, the fellow students were mean enough, friends, parents and teachers had enough material to make every episode enjoyable to watch. The fact that it is only 12 episodes helped.
However, the key that drove the basis of this drama is the "Sweet Revenge" phone app 'helper'. The FL just have to tap the word 'yes' and the helper will proceed to take revenge on people the FL is angry with . The helper then send her a note when revenge mission is complete. How nice. As revenge is not a good thing to do, eventually the FL realizes that there are many problems we can solve ourselves. She soon realizes that she need not use the app anymore as she matures in her thoughts and gains confidence in her own decisions. Having a handsome and supportive boyfriend in Ji Hoon is part of that recipe too.
And I was extra pleased to watch Cha Eun Woo. I noticed him since My ID is Gangnam Beauty. In this drama Sweet Revenge which was done a year before ID is Gangnam, he plays 'himself', a member of the boy band Astro. Good looking and charming as always.
Overall, I enjoyed watching this drama. Light and easy.

A Drama Worth The Watch
This drama took me by surprise. It was not my intention to watch the entire show. Was suppose to be a simple quick check as I was looking to see Lee Sang Yoon's work. However, on first episode, I was already captivated. The story and the love story within was really VERY GOOD.A woman, Choi Mikaela (Lee Sung Kyung), is someone who can see everyone's time of death reveal to her, as an imprint on their bodies and unfortunately, she can even see her own. With 100 plus days to live, she accidentally realizes that her time clock stops, when she is in close proximity to a gentleman named Lee Do Ha (Lee Sang Yoon). Eventually, not only will her time clock stop, but as she consistently is with him and happy, her life span 'extends' favorably. Their chemistry together from hate to love. From discomfort to deep commitment was a tremendously strong performance and one could not help but keep rooting for the FL every time she gains more time.
Obviously, the show went up another notch as we see everyone's life revolving around this couple also had their very own story to tell, The relationships that can be so precious, especially when you know when that person will die. Have we done enough for them, did we tell them what we wanted to say, everything seems so much more urgent, with little time left. The stories as it was told and played out by a very strong cast was touching and did bring out much emotion and self-realization of relationships around me. Furthermore, it helped to also have the "bad ass" fiance, Sung Hee (Han Seong Yeon) who fought tooth and nail to keep Do Ha from Choi Mikeala. Sung Hee kept the frustration, and she definitely kept my attention throughout....nothing better than a really good, bad lady. But, yes, Do Ha only loves Mikaela.
The only "glitch" for me, which I think perhaps also affected some viewers, was at the point when Mikaela realized that when her time lengthens, Do Ha's own life span 'decreases'. Realizing that this transfer of life will eventually cause early death to Do Ha. I would have much preferred that she talked about it with Do Ha, but as the drama would have it, she keeps running away from him without explanation. These few episodes did get on my nerves. But , Do Ha's love, perseverance and commitment to her was perfection and truly warmed my heart.
The message about love in this drama was well written in relation to time. Not a moment to be wasted. This drama is highly recommended. It is not a perfect drama but truly WORTH THE WATCH.
Cheers! K-drama Forever!!
