I first rediscovered dramaland in 2013, but my obsession started way earlier, thanks to Jackie Chan and Mortal Kombat games. My interest peaked when I studied East Asian literature, martial arts, and languages. Now, if you’re intrigued by complex stories and appreciate dark humor, you’ve come to the right place. |
- Mostly into Japanese, Chinese, and Korean dramas/films (in that order), but I’m open to any foreign content as long as it has subtitles. I also watch Western TV shows occasionally, depending on my mood.

Disclaimer: Conforming to conventional rating systems isn’t exactly my forte, but for the sake of frequent requests, I’m making an exception. If I’ve rated something below a 4, it’s in *cringeworthy* territory, definitely not worth your time. Just drop it like it’s HOTTTT! My evaluations reflect a balance between what I would’ve liked when I was younger and what I’m into now as an adult.
I hardly ever re-rate and my reviews do tend to be rather verbose, but whatever. I watch everything at 2x speed anyway, because my ADHD kicks in after episode two. So, don’t put too much trust in my ratings—or anyone else’s for that matter! I don’t rate based solely on "enjoyment" it’s a mix of direction, cinematography, writing, character development, and whatever else grabs my attention.
I’m considering switching to a more personalized rating system since numbers don’t tell the full story. But for now, I’ll keep it simple. My recommendations are thoughtfully curated, so feel free to ask or browse through my extensive list here! |
