Gender bender! This drama was exactly what I needed. I really enjoyed giggling through this. Kim Seul Gie is great, of course. I like the idea of her not being a good student in modern times but in Joseon times it doesn't matter because she is still going to know much more than the most advanced scholar. Her personality is both cute and confrontational. She takes over the historical world with her modern attitude. Her audaciousness is so fabulous. I mean, she doesn't lose the Kim Seul Gie charm even when she's telling off the king, so you know this is going to be darn good. The relationship with the king is a cracker. He appreciates her forwardness and bluntness but he also gets the brunt end of it too. I really loved the historical moments of this drama as well. I normally don't appreciate history but it was pretty darn epic!
