I'm connecting it to the story in general. there was a scene in Honey and Clover where the male lead leaves everything behind and gets on his bike with no destination, and in Nagi no Oitoma the female lead also does that. both also had that same drive, they wanted to get away from their lives and start fresh even for a little while
I'm recommending the korean vr becasue that's all I saw. but both are about a female character who leaves her life behind and take a break to heal their souls.
both deal with serious postpartum issues and the burdensome expectation the society has s on mothers
both Birthcare Center and Spring Turns to Spring are female centered, both have Uhm Ji Won and both are hilarious
the comedy sense is kinda similar between Birthcare Center and Pegasus Market though, Birthcare Center is slightly less crazy xD
in angry mom (I personally) shipped the fl with someone her kid's age and though nothing happened, here in 18 again they are bond to use that tension so it's not really that different from angry mom but here the guy her kids' age is actually her same aged husband?
also both show parents go back to school and blend in with their kids' lives and try to help them
also both show parents go back to school and blend in with their kids' lives and try to help them
both use high quality set production and interior decorating from scratch. and both also make up scripts to utilize those sets though in TGE they need to escape and in SS they need to find that one "set"
both shows are about finding the "fake" among the real things. in ICSYV it's about real singers and tone deafs and in SS it's about a real restaurant or office and the sets the writers made.
also both shows have really creative writers
also both shows have really creative writers
the stories start similar, both are wrongfully accused of killing their spouse and both don't remember it (or LAL is not telling the full story for now) and both are parents that get separated from their kids + "rich" people are out to get them
both have a somewhat similar story line, both are melodramas about secrets and deceives and both are "wrongfully" accused/give birth in prison
both Another Way and It's Okay to Not Be Okay had hurt and traumatized leads that in some way relied on each other though in Another Way the mains barely interacted.
also both have Seo Ye Ji
also both have Seo Ye Ji
the concept from ep10-11 in The Great Escape: Season 3 is the same era as Mr. Sunshine, 1920s-1940s ie the japanese colonial period
