Tofu exists to tell us that miracles (rarely) happen
A fantasy show that explicit real-life matters in the most accurate way. The kind of drama who uplifts, inform, educate, and enlighten the general public about the world of a person falling in love with the same sex. It was reported to be the first-ever Lakorn BL that aired on a national television channel in Thailand. Which took the chance to build a new bridge on bringing out the difficulties, barriers, and emotional distress that criticism works on gay people. Exhibiting that generation gap is one of the biggest factors why most older people are homophobic. They are against seeing two male individuals being in love simply because of how society told them to be. In contrast to the people who borned in the earlier generations, who are more introduced to the freedom of choices that allows them to identify their own gender by themselves. Yet, LGBTQ+ community is far away from living in a world without experiencing a brutal approach, discrimination, and hate-crime from these anti-gay people.A perfect portrayal of this is Nut’s unhealed wounds from the past that he carries all throughout his life, not until his miracle happens. Living in a dysfunctional family, he surely suffers a lot. His father is a prideful man with toxic masculinity who physically and verbally abuses him. However, it's also frustrating that the one he considers to be the closest to, his mother, pushes that his son is like any other normal boy out there. Disregarding the child’s much-needed acceptance and support. Leading Nut to hold grudges and distance himself from his mother.
Fortunately, the appearance of Tofu slowly calms down the chaos from the house and closes the gap between the sour history of the mother-and-son. All thanks to the fantasy that I never expected to be this great, with the rarity of showcasing fresh ideas that I never yet seen from others. The level of imagination in creating talking objects from the strong emotions coming from humans. A well-appreciated flow of mysteries that is both entertaining and sentimental.
Tofu being one of the most selfless characters and cutest human-teddy in the history. His willingness to be hurt and sacrifice himself for the sake of the happiness from the people he loves is annoyingly making me all tear up. When Tofu put up with any kind of pain, I wholeheartedly wish that he became selfish for once.
Phenomenal acting on every dramatic and confrontation scene coming from Mrs. Na and Nut. You can feel the tension of their emotions ranging in their hearts by only looking at their eyes. We witness the importance of conversing in one’s life. The exchange of words and being honest can help to release the uneasy emotion that keeps dwelling inside. There’s nothing more touching than to finally witness Nut and his Mom embracing a new start in life. Tears can’t stop from flowing, especially the scene where they took a family picture. The journey towards reconciliation took so long but all’s well that ends well.
Theories are all over your mind once you start watching this. The drama that makes you feel excited for more since it triggers your brain on the possible outcome that the story may end. However, during the last few episodes, plots are predictable but who cares as long as they consistently display a fine job executing the storyline.
It also delivers a variation of big emotions. A feeling of warmth and comfort from Gen’s family. An open-minded parents letting their son decide for his own path in life. Their entire family conversation is extra-sweet and loveable; a real gem. The feeling of happiness on seeing the appended hole between Song and his Dad. The eighteen year old boy comparing himself to his deceased brother is sadly unavoidable. Perceiving favoritism is what makes Song unhappy as for the reason that his dad remembers a lot more things from Neung more than his living son. The realization of the dad was a joyful conclusion of their character development. Song and Gen’s family picture at the finale, draws a curving smile on my face.
Kuenchai is hailed as the cutest, fluffiest, and most intelligent dog in Lakorn. He outshone real human actors with his excellent acting skills as a supporting character. A bright ray of sunshine and the couple’s number one third wheel. His whole existence contributes a lot from the show, most especially his relationship with Tofu. Even when Tofu came back to his original form, Kuenchai wanted to play with him and keep him company from time to time. Tarn on the other hand is the person who colors the gloomy world of Nut. The bittersweet high school love story is a good memory. Nut lives in a depressing world at his house before but Tarn makes him feel the exact opposite.
The actress playing as Jan deserves praise as well. She did well on being firm to her character as the obsessed love antagonist. Saen as the greatest pretender was somehow expected since they didn’t have enough characters to be suspected for the crimes he did. It just felt so weird that Sean and Jan blamed each other before for Tarn’s incident and they ended up being the suspect.
The show also emphasizes that marriage is a life-time choice; marrying someone you truly love. Along with it, the artistic writing technique and the uses of idioms in life is an effective and affectionate way of storytelling.
In Sarin duality from this show is insane. Him as Tofu is full of cuteness while Nueng is full of manliness. You can easily differentiate the two from having distinct vibes. Also, I’m living my best life by seeing a lot of skinships and skin exposure from the series. It may not contain heated bed scenes but it is more than enough to say that the main leads are bathing in sexiness.
And yes! The episodes prior to the last, tried to prepare the viewers for the tragedy. I anticipated this ending but it still hurts me a lot. Conveying the message that fairy tales don’t exist and we will eventually end up going back to reality. I break down when Nut and Tarn bring back the tragic romance they had before while Tofu is happy enough to see Nut in a good situation.
This drama inspires and pushes me to start writing my own novel and I’m currently having a fun time doing it. I love that the show doesn’t only center in a love story but talks about various topics surrounding societal problems that mostly revolve around the family.
Tofu, your whole existence to the show doesn't end in a tragedy. The best version of yourself remains in everyone’s memories. Thank you for allowing us to witness a miracle in life. You deserve the whole world. You deserve a Tofu in life too.

Thailand is now bringing us into dystopian
Clever, imaginative, well-written, and well-executed. Don’t get swayed by its cheesy title since the show has a deeper story to tackle about. I am a big fan of the concept of dystopia; showcasing injustice in a society and bringing a creative set-up on the way people live, was truly a chef’s kiss. Thankfully, the show succeeded in offering this to us. The story's foundation of having an uneven ratio of two genders where the chance of giving birth to a male child is too low was phenomenal. They also managed to give depth behind the characteristics of everyone from the show with reasonable development throughout the end. The majority of the cast is likable, the same with their cute and fun little games with budgeted props that make it more lively.
When I finished its pilot episode, a question came to my mind, “If all existing gentlemen are living in a small luxury city, what would happen if one or two of them fell in love? Not to a woman but to a man since they aren’t that pretty exposed to the women outside their living environment.” Fortunately, my BL heart was satisfied enough with Pepper’s story. A man from The Farm fell in love with another man who is living in a hidden place called City Ground.
This is certainly a mini-dystopian series that is rarely produced by the entertainment industry in Thailand. Although I felt that the progression of the story lacks in terms of expansion and solving cases, it is still understandable since they only have eight total episodes to fit everything. The open-ended conclusion was great since it allowed people to be hyped for a possible sequel. Yet, I honestly think that the four-year time skipped before the ending credit was unnecessary and they should just stick with the cliff-hanging part of what will happen to them after freeing from the government. I want to see more scenes of how they will fight back the injustice and bring peace and prosperity to the people.
There is only one time from the show that I feel extremely frustrated. It is when on EP02, they labeled Almond as the best cooker among the gentlemen. Yet, he happened to be the clueless one when it came to finding the right ingredients for Thai dishes and desserts. That was just naive of the production that they let this idea end up being aired for the sake of romance between the second lead. Despite some of its flaws, the overall impact of the show was cool and entertaining. Blue Pongtiwat introduced me to this series and I am grateful for that. I’ve been following him on his Instagram for a long time but this is the first time watching him in a drama. He does prove to me that his undying charm is there for a reason. He is indeed a good actor, the combination of his appeal and acting was well-balanced.

A not so 'classy' love story
A good start by linking the title to its pilot episode; a love story that begins inside a class that talks about love -a ‘Love Class.’ The speedy first date was cutely done thanks to the superb visuals of the main characters. The senior is showering with sex appeal, flirtatiously mysterious vibes, and at the same time a soft giant baby. On the other hand, the junior is sending a dazzling gleam sensation of freshness. The perceptible height difference and the way they consistently face each other while conveying sends me a huge number of butterflies. The one is protectively tall and the other one is adorably cute. However, due to the limited time duration with only six episodes in total, the storyline is unremarkable. EP04 is likely the weakest and the beginning of the downfall of the show. There are too many loopholes and complicated scenes which aren't a good addition to the story. First, the exaggerated homophobic remarks and the never-ending gossip of everyone at school. In my opinion, the whispering campaign was very bizarre. Second, the girl who had a crush on the professor is annoying. Her inquisitive behavior is irksome. Third, Ro-A’s nosy and embittered friend. His rage isn’t valid at all, he is quite obsessed. Fourth, is the overwritten timing. In that scene wherein Ro-A and the girl are talking about the stalker then right after a pause, the girl suddenly receives a text from the stalker. Not gonna buy it as a pure coincidence. Fifth, it’s been days after Ji-Woo bite the stalker in his wrist with the jacket sleeves on and yet the scar is still intact in him. Please, they’re wasting a lot of possible twists here. It’s also funny that during the phone conversation between Ro-A and his obsessed friend, it’s too obvious that the blue phone is already broken before he even manages to smack it hard into the wall. Also, the confrontation scene in the class is a cringe one.
I don’t want to hate this but I can’t help it. Sorry to say this but Kim Tae Hwan is an example that most models can’t properly act. His portrayal of Ro-A isn’t enough. He tends to be bland and unconvincing from time to time. On the contrary, Han Hyun Jun nailed his character, Ji Woo. I love his mannerism, the understated facial expressions, and his natural tone and intonation in delivering his lines. The drama isn’t that bad at all thanks to him pulling up the whole show.
Unlike the majority of K-BLs, this one doesn’t have an opening song which is okay since they can proceed to the story yet it somehow misses the chance to give us a nice introduction per episode.
This is still a nice and fluffy college-based BL despite the cliche storyline. There’s nothing new to offer but that bodacious poem and its connection to their little romantic memories when Ro-A went to Ji Woo’s place was cute. The drama has the utmost potential but failed to execute a reasonable storyline.

Over romanticize love story
The eight episodes doesn't even give me the feelings of having butterflies but instead it was a moment of watching another cliché and fan service drama. Jang Eui Soo's controversy about his reply to a friend on his Instagram really affected my watching experience. I thought the story may lift up my mood or at least be a worthy of my time to watch but unfortunately it doesn't.The tension of the show is super irrelevant and doesn't explain in a clearer state. What's with the rivalry and head chef competition summoned by the owner of the restaurant? She can have fired the guy if she doesn't want him to work for her any longer or the guy himself just submit a resignation letter with facing such an unethical treatment. It's very annoying for me to see a plot that doesn't make any sense at all.
Another thing is that the existence of the supporting cast looks like nothing but a nuisance decoration, they did nothing but to laugh and standby on the kitchen. All of the actors in the show looks unnatural, it looks like they just acted because they needed.
The only good thing about the show is how they captured the satisfying and great looking dishes alongside with the playful camera angles of the scenes. This is probably one of the boring Korean BL drama I've ever watched. Below average show that explicit an uninteresting storyline.

A show that lacks in too many elements; boring, poor, and plain
The only reason I watch this drama is simply because Lee Hangyul were the one portraying the main character. The flow of the story is fresh and rare but the execution isn’t that great. The fantasy as its genre seems to be a comedy; it doesn’t feel magical at all. Talking about black hole and white hole theories, I’m hungry for providing more believable reasons but they only focuses on connecting the situation to the romance, even the professor explains it in a romantic way.The acting. They need to practice more before shooting some scenes, every single one of them. Their acting was below average; the camera angle only captures the visual but not the emotional needs of the story. I was annoyed at the beginning but I think I get the hang of it after watching few more episodes.
Music were their last hope but unfortunately it was another letdown. At first I love how they include the OST as the song written and sung by the main character but they let him sing the song on the entire show which gets me tired of it. They added a new song, which were the duet, but it was during the last few episodes, too late I guess.
I am the kind of person who believes that even a show that has a rough start, I am still hoping for a remarkable ending that will save the show from being that bad. But…
It was another failure, they need to give at least a proper closure to both second lead man and woman who was the test subject for the main couple’s deep feelings on each other. The romance between old buddies were not that impactful to the point that I feel the sincere love they had on each other. I am okay with them not being together. My kind of ending is when the main girl ended up with the second lead and stayed as the best friend to the other guy. The sarcasm and attitude explicit by the second lead girl was on point. The drama let her turned to be a bad bitch but that’s just how a normal person react when someone keep saying stuffs about an existing white hole who doesn’t have enough evidence to support her claim. Not to mention the second lead girl ask about the real relationship of the two best friends before showing her interest to the guy.
I say a lot of negative things but to be honest this is not extremely bad. It was just a fine drama that really needs more enthusiasm and appeal to be consider a great one. I keep wanting to see more improvements, feel excited for the next episode, and be hooked up with the flow but they totally failed to give me all of these. As I said, the show has the potential and just okay for a mini-series.

Far away from being likable and decent show
I was warned, have read many negative comments and frustrating feedback but still pushed myself to watch this show. And yes, they’re all correct. This BL is hard to be consumed when you’ve seen a lot of toxicity being romanticized in the industry. I am not surprised with the poor storyline because the writer herself was fan of turning untowards behavior as a form of profitable ideas. The characters have a good base but never given a chance for a good character development.Totally skipped all of Phayu & Rain episodes as it has nothing new to offer, the same hate and love plot with too much cringeness. I thought that Sky & Pai screen time would save the show but it ended up with the same uninteresting plot. The traumatic events don't even give a satisfying conclusion. The acting was below average too, I hate all of the self-talking dialogues and overly-acted gestures. The only one that manages to amaze me with his acting skill is Prapai, the rest are amateurs.
The title should be Love in the RAIN instead of Air, since it's always bursting with water each episode. The sole element in this show that I approved to captivate me was the OST that has an addictive tune and vibes.

Thank you for an another one-of-a-kind Thai BL that simply made their viewers thrilled
Bad Buddy proves that no matter how plain the trailer is, the result may be different. Honestly, I had low expectations before watching it since I am running out of BL to watch and the storyline is another kind of childish story brought by GMMTV (conflicts about the two departments and the unexplained childlike war of their parents at the beginning) but in the end, I was wrong. It’s all because of how OHM and NANON pull the whole show in the most gratifying moments for the viewers. Those stares, facial expressions, and their little gestures boosted their love bond to its maximum level. Ohm Pawat can undeniably be paired with anyone, he exhibits the needed chemistry without fail and holds the personality of his character like it is his own. His sex appeal gets more and more intense; having such a handsome face, a sturdy build of physique, and a shrill yet gentle voice. On the other hand, Nanon Korapat did a fine job in his first BL role. At first, I was hoping for Chimon instead of Ohm but things turned out remarkable for OhmNanon who had an exquisite showpiece tandem.
I started to like the show the instant they moved to their dorms. They’re so funny and obviously they’ve been flirting with each other the whole time. Since Pran had a crush on Pat ever since they were young, the sleepover scene was painful. One-sided love really hurts like hell. Imagine being on his side and yet, he only thinks about another person (episode where Pat wants to confess to Ink). Pran has no other choice but to pretend not to be taken away by his own emotion. Thank goodness that jealousy can always be a big help for someone to realize their real feelings for the other person, pushing their romantic desire to the limit. Me, myself, am also a fan of this type of scene in which I can see the other side bursting out with envious romance.
The big shock for me was witnessing an early kissing scene. It is not just a simple touching of lips but more on eating each other's lips. The portrayal of emotion during the rooftop smooch was incredibly eminent. Prior to the kiss, it was really bad for Ohm to breath hysterically because I find it a nuisance before their intimate clip. Anyways, the after effect of the kiss drove the potential to unveil their feelings but as expected both of them are as firm as rock and didn't want to admit their feelings that took them a whole 1-2 episodes for them to be real boyfriends. Taking their time on testing the water -one is trying to stay away yet the other one chooses to pursue and even willing to enter the Lion’s den just to be able to have a chat with Pran. (Architecture volunteer camp episode)
After opening up their feelings despite being persistent, their flirting moments were really something to be envious of. The good thing about the show is how the director executed fresh new ideas of sweet sequences such as the ketchup kiss, the written statement on a tissue roll, vibing the song inside the car in the cutest possible way, etc. The amount of romantic excitement I felt every episode is more than enough to build a castle full of butterflies. Also, creative strategy of product placement, not making it too cringe and trying to push over, compared to other Thai shows. They also simulated in a mocking way the typical BL phrases like “I don’t like men, I just like you” and by calling each other as “husband & wife,” who think that romanticizing these norms will make the scene extra special. Among GMMTV’s BL works, this definitely stood as one of their quality tier shows, next to A Tale of Thousand Stars and other of my personal favorites.
The revelation episode was something that I guess for a whole week that the title “Bad Buddy” is dedicated to Wai. He didn’t deserve to be a good friend of Pran. I understand his hatred and feeling of betrayal but he’s actions were too much. Exposing them to the public is not something a real friend will do. But then again, forgiveness always creates a new path for their friendship to bloom so I bought it. Another big disclosure is the reason for Pat and Pran’s father and mother’s conflict. I think it was not a cliche idea after all since the agony of Pran’s mother is valid. She lost her chance to achieve her dream because she was betrayed by her most trusted friend who turned out to be Pat’s father. Unique and realistic revelation. If I am Pran’s mother, there is a 90% possibility that my hatred towards Pat’s dad will last forever. Especially, if that person is your neighbor -the one closest to your own home.
The actor who portrayed Wai was good at being angry but bad at conversing casually along with most of the characters in the show. They’re casual talk with friends was so awkward; wearing a forced smile and uneasy eye contacts. Nanon’s group of college friends was kind but couldn't act well (especially Louis, who I think just stood there to fill the set). Ohm group of friends was the complete opposite; can act but aren’t too kind. They are like gangsters who have a huge ego and superiority complex who can’t keep a chill whenever they see a guy from the Architecture department. The character development of Korn was likely the same with other classic semi-antagonist who started doing bad but then miraculously changed to be good for the better. But if I am to choose who will be the best supportive actor/actress in the show, I’m gonna pick the woman who got the role of being Nanon’s mother. She literally eats the dramatic house attack on her ex-best friend's house.
Lighting up the mood, we need to appreciate how Pa and Ink brought smiles to our faces all throughout their shared moments together. GL story is rarely included in a show, but their on-screen character was too fit to each other making me feel lively and attached to their pair. Ink is a demure and caring woman and Pa is the clumsy and sweet girl, perfect match for each other. The siblinghood bond of Pat and Pa was also something deserving to be praised as well.
The OST. It was a well-arranged song for a BL show in which the main character started to question himself on the feelings he had for his friend. The lyrics of “JUST FRIEND?” was so beautiful for someone who had a secret crush to his friend or even having mutual feelings but still hesitant to confess. Nanon singing it was the perfect thing, his voice was soothing to both of my ears and heart. Absolutely one of my favorite Thai soundtracks!
Okay. That was it! I enjoyed the show and that’s why it deserves a high rating.

"You are the star that falls to me"
A heartwarming story that not only focuses on love romance between two people but also serves all types of love (romantic, friendship, family), it is about finding one's self value in the world, our purpose of living, the search for knowing self-worth, and the quest to be a part of a community that connects you with both people and nature. It is indeed a masterpiece storytelling of Tian's journey on how he found the true meaning of happiness in life.I can't believe that Mix is a rookie actor, he is so good on portraying his role. Pure talent. I love him! And of course, Earth also gives us another loveable and well build character, he is so good on his acting. Earth even manages to delivered the small details that plays a vital role in the concept of the story. Both of them and the rest of the cast is such a good set of actors, no doubt! Convincing and natural acting without a single cringe moment.
The story is very fresh coming from a Thai BL Drama. It's been a while since the last time I've feel so much connection to a show. Someone pointed out that it should be "A Tale of Thousand Stares" instead of "Stars" hahaha omg yeah, I definitely agree. The couple staring at each other is enough to make your heart scream, all they have to do is to look on each other with their cute and flirtatious eyes, and the world is shaking and massively sends us butterflies. Chief Phupha and Tian chemistry is on that kind of level. Besides, I really love Chief Pha's jealous expression, he's the cutest.
Every episode is wholesome! From beginning till the end, it was obviously well written and executed. It was worth the long wait. Every little details in this drama works, from the acting, dialogues, scenes, plot, everything!
One of my fave scene in the early episode of the series was their sleeping scene, it is so pure and soft. There's no sex involved, just Phupha wanting to know more about Tian and vice versa.
Another memorable episode is when Tian talks about his feeling to his best friend. The use of words is straight to the point yet effective, probably the best way to discuss that love isn't all about gender. Also, I am happy that there are no too much issue about his parents regarding Tian's sexuality.
Most importantly, I am super-duper touched and cried for how the villagers slowly welcome Tian to be part of their community, not just an ordinary teacher but a member of their large family. From this episode, Tian finally able to have a place he considers his home.
Every episode also sustains us real life lessons. The statement presented in the end of each episode is very warm and pleasing to feel. Again, aside from "A Tale of Thousand Stares," this should also be renamed as "A Tale of Thousand Tears." Starting in the episode 8 where Tian told about Torfun's death and her heart, everything next to it was just me and my tears. At once, I hated Phupha for letting Tian took all the blame and has the audacity to be angry on Tian's lie, wherein the first place he's the one started to lied by keeping the information about Torfun's death to everyone aside from his colleague. I can't take seeing baby Tian in pain, he miraculously survives every reckless and unexpected scenario he encounters despite having a heart transplant few months ago, yet he was misunderstood by those he considers as his family. Tian, you deserve all the love in the world but please don't keep me worrying about your health haha.
On the other hand, the antagonist of the show is the man conducting an illegal logging and all sorts of illegal activities he wants to do. I must say that this is also a well tackled realistic issue that often happened at rural places. The bad market monopoly and those who have enough power to do bad things, these matters plays some significant ideals on how things works in real life. Also, Tian's change of career is relatable; always think harder for the careers you must pursue. As much as possible, it must be connected with your own dream and passion with the mindset of being practical in the making too.
Goodbyes are always meant to be happened, sooner or later, but I am so grateful that I've become one of those who finishes this masterpiece drama. I love this show and I'm contented of not having a second season because the ending is good enough. Also because, if season 2 happened, the possibility of ruining the first season may appear. I'm just hoping for another EarthMix project!
OMG. I write too much hahaha. Lastly, the OST and other music in the series is so beautiful, perfect for such a work of art drama.
A Tale of Thousand Stars allow us to understand that finding a place that fits you, must be a help for you to grow and achieve living in happiness.

Very bad!
The story of this drama is very bad! They made the main couple's character problematic, I always skip every scene they have. The only reason I keep watching this is because of the side couples specially the story of the poorest girl among them. I can't even bear to watch scenes coming from the main leads. I love Ong seong wu and shin ye eun and they are the reason why I watch this but I am really disappointed.PS: Kim Dong Jun visual is so perfect!! Mr. CEO why do you keep chasing for Kyung Woo-Yeon, you deserve better than her. Don't keep hurting yourself. It's good that you finally let her go in the end

A BL show that explicit the inappropriate norms that typically romanticized by many
I’m really excited watching this one, new and fresh BL story with overloading visuals of the main character. The first episode got me already, I love how they highlighted that sexual harassment for the sake of a scene in the series isn’t romantic at all. A big slap to the most Thai BL shows nowadays. Aside from this, the show delivers plenty of inappropriate norms of the BL industry which were romanticized by many. Obviously, the show main lesson is to let obsessive fans to understood that the actors have their own private life. The drama also delivers the importance of consent. The drunk Gene scene is too lovely, Nubsib didn’t took advantage of it and even stop Gene for his kissing attempts. Consent King NubsibOne of my favorite scene is when Gene attended a mini reunion party with his university friends. The way his friends push him to open up about his gender is too much, it was annoying to watch. But Tum’s dialogue is so heartwarming to hear, “Let other people decide whether they willingly talk about their personal lives or not, being a friend means that you have to understand him. Opening up your personal life is not easy for everyone. It is not okay to pressure someone to come out.” I’m so touched with the well written script.
Another common issue presented in the show is when a gay auditioned as one of the cast for Bad Engineer the series. Producers prefer to cast straight man over gays because it was the popular way of getting the viewers attracted to the show, which I found reasonable but uncomfortable. As I observed, if a BL actor suddenly announced that he has a real life girlfriend, fans feels sad and angry. Most on-screen couple didn’t end up getting together in real life and fans have to accept that even though it is a very hard one to admit.
For Tum and Kitty story, I liked how they showcase the gender stereotyping.
The plot twist is what you called a real plot twist. Never in my mind crossed the idea that Gene’s father used to date a guy before and the reason why he is against to Gene dating a man too. Also, Aoey being in love with Gene and not Nubsib. It is really so unexpected that spice up the story and make it more unique than others. To add, I really feel pressure during the family confrontation scene, it was such an intense one.
On terms of acting, Kao and Up slay their roles, natural and convincing. Nubsib’s flirty acts towards his love is so sexy! Wherein, on the other hand, Gene is such a lovely introverted writer. The chemistry of both of them is so great that I always tend to take screenshots every shared scene of them together. This is one of the shows that I really enjoy watching their kissing scenes over and over again. Such a lovely, sexy, intense, hot, passionate and seducing kiss ever. I was so shocked for an early kissing scene on episode 2 and goes on every episode. They tasted each other lips for a hundred times hahaha. Also, it was so cute to witness how adorable the two of them together. Every time Nubsib pinch Gene’s soft pair of cheeks, that was so much sweetness.
The one who portrays Saymork is bad at acting I swear, same with Aeoy’s family member. I didn’t like the family scenes at all, plain and boring. Not to mention the overreacted kissing scene of Aeoy and Mork hahaha I literally laughed while watching it. No matter how good the story is, if the acting isn’t really that great, the series itself is too affected. The reason why I rated it 9.5 instead of 10. Contributed to the -5 of my rating is the slow paced and boring first part of the last episode. The spark of the show loses at that time. The ending scene is too cute specially when I found out that the writer of the novel has a special appearance in the story that she wrote.
The production team were excellent. The series showcase cute cinematography and I also liked the camera angles specially when the two cast share an intimate scene together. It also has such a pleasing and heartbreaking OSTs ever. From happily grooving with Gavin’s “One to Ten” to being emotionally sad from listening to PCHY’s “Don’t Turn the Page” cause the lyrics are so beautiful and painful. But sometimes the background music is too exaggerated, specially the poop toilet scene of Tum :(
Overall, indeed, LOVELY WRITER is such a lovely series!!

Wasted the screen time for the nonsense hunt for Enchante. Nevertheless, Akk saves the show.
From the trailer to the ending, the drama didn't leave an impact on me. The only reason I started to watch this show is all thanks to Force and his undying handsomeness. Fortunately, him being Akk, is one of the few enjoyable characters from the drama, along with Im, Egg, and Saifa. If not for the sake of these people, maybe I already dropped this a long time ago.I don’t have high expectations from the storyline yet I don’t want to feel disappointed at the same time. The biggest downfall of Enchante is the whole finding Enchante moments that is pure nonsense and drags the show to the bottom. It’s pretty tiring to the eyes and a wasted majority of the time of the never ending search for someone who turned out to be the searcher itself. Plots keep getting weird. After all those roller coaster quirky rides, Theo is the real deal. At some point I just joined the unremarkable flow of the story and told myself that sometimes rich kids tend to do silly as well as questionable things. It brokes my theory that the real Enchante was neither from the five of them but the art member, Tan. I saw a sight of him at the back when the four claimed that they are Enchante during the library scene.
Despite the sorrowful twists and turns of events, the main couple secured the chemistry needed for a love story. Their first kiss was so pleasingly romantic. Them sitting in front of a movie being played in a projector, plus the calming vibes of raindrops from the window, the red rose glaring at their backs, and the talked about challenging a kiss was absolutely a soothing and refreshing scenery for a glimpse of romantic development between the two. Yet, I wished that they did a french kiss since they already mentioned it but I’m fine as long as they kissed. I adore their lovey dovey moments together regarding the cliche scenarios. The flirting and little physical contact is sending me butterflies. Holding hands inside the ice box was something new for me. The pecking kisses simulated as a casual joke is cute as well but the rooftop kiss was so passionate. The time that they are finally able to release their long-hidden feelings by means of eating each others’ lips to a whole new level.
I feel bad that they made Theo a nuisance later on. He became too childish and unreasonable but I tried to understand where his emotions were coming from. He is far greater than the three Te-Te guys who awfully use him for their own selfish purposes. Saifah is an exception from them since he played as the actor casted by Theo. Wayo on the other hand is the worst. He deserved that punch from Akk.
The finale isn’t even close to being considered a good episode. I don’t like it at all. The sudden break up issue of his parents was an unforeseen scenario and I wished that the production should think outside the box for more possible kinds of conflicts since that was so bland. Throughout the episodes, I kept hoping to recover the previous flop episodes and EP07 made it. But then again, back to being flopped on EP09 till the show ended up with a boring finale episode. In spite of that, the little crossover with Krating and Punn from Baker Boys is a blessing. Love to see both of them once again!
The OST was good, especially that Tay Tawan is the one who sang it. Sometimes, the way they inserted a BGMs was inappropriate or not fitted to the element of the show. Overall, the show was a below average drama that only survived because of Akk. If not for him, I could have given it a lower rating. On the good side, there’s a little bit of entertainment factor that Enchante provided to me and it wasn’t that bad at all. I remembered someone commented that this show is “not that good but is still decent” and I kinda agree with him/her.

Arigato! Ida and Aoki
The eraser and the misunderstanding. The supposed to be someone else love story turned into a cute mix-up! Pilot episode did a great job holding me till the end. Since EP01 until EP10, there’s no doubt that this drama make me feel extremely happy. I just keep smiling the whole time. One thing that I always do when I am enjoying what I am watching is to took several screenshots from it. My gallery will prove how fond I am from the show.IDA IS SUCH A NICE GUY –a rare gem to be exact. The way he handled Aoki and the eraser situation was something only kind-hearted people will do. He was shocked but he didn’t altered any harsh words to Aoki. He responded him with an utmost thinking of whether to accept Aoki’s confession or not. If only all guys acts like the way Ida acted towards Aoki’s love revalation, maybe people like Aoki may avoid a painful rejection from the guy he liked just because he is gay.
Ida-kun in a rolled white-school-long-sleeves with a loose necktie is so sizzling hot! With his kind personality and duality of either being a hottie or a cuttie, I therefore conclude that Ida is such a perfect boyfriend material.
Aoki on the other hand is the character I closely relate to. In the world where hetero relationship is labelled as “normal,” people who likes the same kind of gender tend to be really scared to even avoid speaking this kind of feeling to their friends. Some people can’t bring themselves to speak up and be honest with their sexuality to others, not even themselves. That is why I cried a lot when Aoki finally open up to his best friend, Akkun. It is really a blessing to have a friend that you can freely tell to them everything, even liking a person who have the same sex with you. I love how Aoki and Aida’s friendship was been told, supporting each other no matter who other person likes.
Aoki the cutest and the kindest. After their confession scene at the camping episode, every scenes were definitely a screaming-with-joy moments knowing that the two of them are real boyfriends now. Those beautiful smiles of Ida brought by Aoki’s action is absolutely the sweetest thing ever. His minimal laugh was sexy and appealing. I love him, we all love him, but most importantly, Aoki love him the most. On the episode where the appearance of a temporary new teacher –changing his attitude after knowing that Aoki is gay, make my blood boiled up. But thanks to this, we see that Ida is that gentle boyfriend who will protect you and let you be dependable to him because he doesn’t want you to be sad on something. Also, Aoki who will protect his lovelife and not letting other people say something bad about being in a homosexual relationship is the bravest thing to deal with homophobic person. I am glad that in the end, the teacher has been educate about this kind of relation.
From the special episode, aired before the release of the last two episodes, I am so happy to hear that Ida’s small and soft gesture of caressing Aoki’s hair from time to time has became a big topic in Japan. It trended and called as IDA-PON (Pon means touching or poking something.) Their first date was one of my favorite episode. I can feel how amazingly high their chemistry is with a consistent connection since the pilot episode. The highlight scene for me is when Ida is supposed to change his clothes on Aoki’s side, then Aoki were in panic because he’s too shy to see Ida’s angry abs. That was a funny clip for me, an exquisite one.
There’s only a few scenes where we see Ida being jealous and it was an adorable moments to see. Ida’s facial expression when he found out that Aoki has a little crush on Hashimoto before was the cutest! In spite of that, Hashimoto and Aoki became real besties now. This girl has a pure heart even after mistakenly knowing that Aoki has the same crush with her, she was so cheerful to accept her rival. I am also grateful that a person like Hashimoto exist in Aoki’s life owing to the fact that she’s a trustworthy and comfortable girl for Aoki to talked about his relationship with Ida, the same way Aoki help her with Aida. Hashimoto and Aida doesn’t have the best side couple story but both of them has been a great help to Aoki and Ida’s relationship; they’re truly a wonderful friends to have. Along with Ida’s volleyball friends who are kind too. I hope more and more people will be just like them, who is sincerely open on accepting homosexual relationship.
Ida and Aoki relationship has also some downfalls encountered. The misunderstanding or conflict thoughts were fix immediatle, proving that they have a healthy relationship.
The final episode is a real game over! When Ida say “I LOVE YOU” to Aoki, I hold my face so tight and cry in great silent. That was an insanely lovely scene, Ida finally giving Aoki a reassurance. The last scene is a happy ending indeed. Aoki borrowing Ida’s eraser and saw the text “Aoki (with a heart)” on his eraser bring me too many emotions. It all started with a eraser and ended up with another eraser, no misunderstaning, no mix-up, just being real with their feelings.
OST’s is as great as the drama. The fact that both Michieda Shunsuke and Meguro Ren was the one who sang Kieta Hatsukoi OSTs alongside with their respective groups are so cutely amazing. Snow Man’s Secret Touch and Ubu Love by Naniwa Danshi are the two songs that has been added to my favorite songs in my playlist. No doubt that it were one of the best Japanese song I’ve ever heard.
I never thought that after “Cherry Magic: Thirty Years of Virginity Can Make You A Wizard,” there were another Japanese drama that I am been so attached to. Kieta Hatsukoi began its first episode on October 9, 2021, a year after Cherry Magic first episode well released as well. Destiny is really doing its job making this coincidence to happened. Both drama is an all perfect score for me! The OSTs, acting, visuals, chemistry, and everything about these two shows are a masterpiece. I am always so grateful for Japanese BL for having a Kurosawa and Ida as the perfect boyfriends ever existed in fiction and live-action, as well to their ever loving and caring cute boyfriends, Adachi and Aoki.
To those who read this review until my very last paragraphs, thank you so much for making time for me. I am just super happy to be able to wrote feedbacks from the show that made me feel so much happiness. Let us live our life always seeking for our happiness that we deserved. Ida and Aoki thought us that love is purely love regarding what kind of sexuality we have. I wish everyone the best in their life! Arigato!

ForceBook is NOT a main couple material
Zero expectations and yet, they didn’t come up with any sense of excitement during the whole duration of the show. This drama serves as for me to give another chance for the on-screen chemistry of Force and Book since their first main role was truly a devastating one (pertaining to Enchante.) Yet, they failed me again; no chemistry, bland acting, cliche storylines; overall, a boring one.I already came to the point that I don’t care what will happen to the story. Even the supporting characters aren’t saving the show. Enchante, despite being a below-average show, is way better than this one. A Boss and a Babe is a total mess since Day 1. I said what I said.

First Love for the Third Time

Good start but gets draggy at the end
The show establishes a cute and fulfilling first few episodes but loses its spark at the end. At first, I thought the story about reincarnation was different from other shows with the same genre, but it started to get messy with a cliche kind of plot they presented with a lack of originality.Poor acting performance of Jeon Chang Ha also affected my enjoyment of watching. It is obvious that this is his first on-screen role since he can’t put up a good act when crying. Although I like him when his character is fun and fluffy, I can’t sense anything emotional when he is being sad. On the other hand, Jin Gun is quite an actor with average skills and dependable during the exchange of lines between the rest of the cast. In terms of acting, the girl who is the nine-tailed fox nailed her character the best.
The first kiss was fine but the angle of the camera ruins the moment. I barely saw their passionate kiss with only two to three camera transitions in which all of them didn’t capture the scene perfectly. It was so dark that I almost saw nothing within the kiss, I even thought that it was a fake execution of kiss. The bad thing is the chemistry that they carried out during the half number of episodes faded away the moment they became a couple. During this time it should be the best part of the show and give us a numerous amount of romantic scenes but they choose to express a dramatic approach as the plot of the show. Until their story became another typical over romanticized story with no solid support of affection from the main character.
There is only one thing I am thankful about this, it is for introducing me to Kim Jeong Seok. He plays as the second lead guy who has been left unchoosen but in real life, he stole my heart. I like his acting, facial expression, his character, and the bonus of handsomeness. I even visited his IG account and was mesmerized by his captivating boyfriend-material posts.
Overall, First Love Again is another reincarnation norm which isn’t that impactful but also isn’t that bad. I really enjoyed the first half of the show but they failed to be consecutive and the reason why the story drags to the bottom. Anyways, I like the OST, perfect fit for the jolly vibes of the show. I guess the only major ousting of the drama is the saddening plot, the rest was good enough.

I have to force myself to watch.
Yahoo!! Congrats for TharnType 2 for being as one of the list of my most boring TV drama I've ever watched. I just watch till the end to finish what I started. Waste of time!7 years????? What? HAHAHAHHAHA I didn't even feel like they're together in that long period of time. I felt nothing but cringeness, as in CRINGE for every couple in the show (except the married couples) It's just plain and boring. Then I even hate the fact that I'm forcing myself to watch poor execution of acting like hello this is not really worth the hype. The flow of the stroy is so problematic, what do I expect from a problematic writer hahaha.
One thing that I'm thankful about this series is finally it's over! I survived forcing myself to watch this "not-worth-the-watch" series.
