This was the first Korean Drama I decided to try. Looking at lists of good shows available on Netflix this was a contender and once I learned it had cooking related story lines I was ready to give it a go.

The series didn't deliver what was advertised in the synopsis, but something even better. An emotional roller coaster ride from the romance to the hospice center where most of the series takes place.
I felt like every character deserved main character status, and I loved them all.

I'm so glad I started with this series and will definitely be recommending it to others as well as re-watching it later on when I need a good cry or a good laugh. I really miss these characters already!

First the sets and costumes in this are absolutely gorgeous, not to mention the actors. ;)

Going into this, I wasn't so sure I would enjoy this series after the first couple of episodes. I'm not a big political drama kind of person, they tend to bore me easily.

After the first couple of episodes though, I felt it picked up and the political drama was so interesting and kept me wondering what would happen next.

Alongside this political drama, there is a budding romance of horribly adorable and innocent love. I couldn't help but smile widely when the characters interacted.

Overall, definitely recommend if you enjoy historical, political, or slow burn romance.

I have to say, right up front, I almost dropped this series after the first episode because of the filming quality. Gave me major cheesy soap opera feels and was not impressed. I decided to give it another episode and I am so glad I did. I fell in love with this series.

It was may more emotionally driven than I expected and the actors did an amazing job delivering those emotions. It focuses a lot on dealing with your own inner issues before accepting that you can be happy.

The music was so so, not a big fan of the theme, but that isn't going to stop me from recommending everyone to give this one a try.

May even rewatch it some day when I get time! :)

I almost didn't watch this as it sound so cheesy to me!

I ended up loving this and it's definitely in a top spot for me, and I will probably rewatch this multiple times.
I loved all the characters and the acting was well done.

I felt this had a very fast paced story line (maybe because it was only 12 episodes it was forced) but I loved the pace, one of my biggest complaints with Dramas is they tend to sometimes drag/get drawn out too much, but this did not have that problem.

On top of all that I absolutely loved the music and ended up having to find the soundtrack to listen to in my free time.

Overall a fun, fast paced show, that I think is very rewatchable! :)
