Gave me similar vibes of computer simulation of a dating game, though both dramas approach the subject from a different angle. Both are Korean BLs where one character tries to figure out how to get another character to like them.

Both good bromance between a younger and older character. Mystery, hidden secrets/pasts, solving investigation(s) together. Both have fantasy elements and humor to help soften all the angst!

A main character hiding a secret regarding his health/life with last wish/goal to find remains/body of beloved family member before it is too late. Excellent bromance. Mystery. Humor. Mains solve series of puzzles/cases that all connect and lead up to end mystery/confrontation. Cornucopia of interesting characters throughout.

Both Korean BL with nice MLs. One ML has a passion for what they do (cooking vs farming) that is so infectious with happiness that lifts the spirits of the other ML. Sweet and fluffy, full of LOVE.

ML has a crush on girl in distant past, but meets same person in future and is surprised their gender isn't what they thought it was. Do they realize it is the same person? What is going on? Is the person the same? Does this change ones feelings? Does gender really matter when it comes to love?

What if someone you loved from your past whom you perceived as female, comes back as male? Would you recognize them or would they be too different? Would your feelings change or be the same?

Both Taiwanese BLs about first love. Lots of sweet scenes between leads with lingering camera angles/shots to capture love. Some expected BL tropes tossed in for comfort. Both have amazing OST so you find yourself watching opening/ending credits for all eps....and astute fans of either will notice one similar piece of background music and also locations/items (Taiwanese BLs famous for little Easter eggs like this to other series).

Both evolve around the relationship between an older and a younger man in the area of justice (one series is judges and the other is attorneys). both work in a flawed system where it takes cleverness (and more?) to outwit criminals. The older is skilled in his field with a personality difficult to read with questionable methods. The younger is slightly naive (through also clever) but with a good heart. The interaction of the two changes/challenges them. Both series covers characters with pasts/histories/motivations that become revealed as you watch the series. Both are very compelling with great acting/presence from the two older leads. Also a smattering of some great strong women throughout.
