A must-watch masterpiece
The series is an absolute masterpiece. I have watched it at least 5 times and every time I love it more. The storyline, the characters and the acting are all superb. I really like how there is such a clear juxtaposition between the two main characters. You have Seo Jun who is carefree, happy, always trying to please everyone and very open to everyone. Then there is Ji Woo who is serious, sad and has some walls up to keep some distance between him and other people. Ji Woo clearly comes across as struggling to get by in life while Seo Jun seems to have it all yet has his own secrets. At the same time Ji Woo does things to protect the people he cares about. His integrity is strong and never chooses the easy way to make money right up to the end. Watching Ji Woo’s resistance to Seo Jun is what makes this series so delicious.
This series is now my favorite of the Korean boylove short web series. The well-developed plot and intense characters reflect the fact that it has the same author as ‘Where your eyes linger’. I also liked how it was tied to ‘Where your eyes linger’ by having the same character Kim Pil Hyun in both series and the same company, the TB group, featured in both . I rarely think series should have a second series but I definitely want to see the characters on screen again.

Beautiful ode to second chances
Beautiful. Well done to Krist and Gawin for a job well done. Gawin ended up being the perfect choice to play Pisaeng. Like many others, I was initially disappointed that Mike had been switched but now I am glad they went with that direction. The story was cute, the supernatural aspects made it all magical and I love how the story came full circle. The chemistry was amazing and they looked so good together. I had fun with this one and absolutely loved both main characters as well as the side characters. The story encapsulates second chances and I hope this extends to giving the actors themselves a second chance. We all need to set aside our preconceived notions about them.

Thrilling all the way to the end
My favorite type of Kdrama series are those that are in the thriller / mystery genre. I have watched ‘Stranger 1 + 2s’, ‘Whisper’, ‘Misty’ and many others but ‘Flower of Evil’ took the cake. I found it gripping, exhilarating and sometimes so tense that it was hard to watch. The acting was the best part. I was blow away by all actors in their delivery. Even subtle and nuanced interactions between characters still managed to delivery such heat and intensity.Sure there were some aspects of the plot that require suspension of disbelief but that is why it is a drama and not a documentary. No one said the storyline was based on true events.
After Flower of Evil, I am going to find it very hard to find another Kdrama mystery that had me gripped from start to finish.
