i might not find enough words to fill the compulsory space for a review, since it's not much to say abt this one! just a bunch of pretty faces walking around and pretending to live intensely while make-up is always in place. umm... did i miss anything? again, actors r pretty. fashion is ok. settings dont look cheap. did i say cast looks good? that's quite it.
you must be reaaaaallly reaaaaallly bored to watch this t-drama.

slice of life & intellectual women are nice

It's really really nice as a journey through life, with a lot of slow-paced events and ordinary things that add to the realistic picture, but it somehow became boring when nothing really happened... It was so so slow that it became unrealistic for some intellectual educated successful people like our protagonists!
The ML is doing an incredible job with performing someone who is unable to accept and express his feelings and establish the human relationships he is craving for. Also hard to believe that a smart woman - the FL - could miss the signals of a man's obvious interest in her... The SML and SFL are nice and funny in their own way, but still lacking as characters. Actors are always top notch!!
Too bad the writer and director didnt make more of the excellent script and cast and chose to drag and drag and reach an incredible 30 episodes - or so - over... nothing!
I truly enjoyed the first half of this series! It conveys a lot of meaning. So much that it made the other half useless for me.

it could've been nice but it's just boring

The genius Maths professor falling for the silly - but - cute - and - cheerful student is such an abused trope... It still could be ok since the actors are nice, but it drags way too much and the central plot is unnecessary entangled with other side stories. The main couple has little to zero chemistry, the ML repeatedly pointing out how dumb the FL is. And she is indeed! Failing in her studies, unable to keep a job or even to fry an egg (!).
I'm not sure if this was the writer's intention, but the drama seems a demonstration of the fact that smart men fall for stupid girls.
I dont think i can keep watching this nonsense till the end.

Boring

Nothing spectacular abt this drama, i wonder if there is really a conflict except for the FL being unable to decide which guy to pick. Actors are handsome - though so skinny even for asian taste, but quite common looking faces, i was struggling in the beginning to recognize who's who. Also the identical fashion style doesnt help at all - its so obvious that they were dressed by the same stylist. I'd say, no effort was put into creating the illusion of life, it's all like a big doll's house. A lot of coincidence happen - FL sprains her ankle twice, ML is there to help each time , FL gets caught in the rain two times, of course ML is there again etc etc. If i happen to stumble across something better, i consider droppin it... till then, just fast forwarding.

funny and light-hearted

Very enjoyable romcom, the ML and FL are about to become my favourite all time couple! They are bright. Still, when i saw the FL ending up in hospital after breaking up with the ML, i was SOOO put off! It totally killed the mood for me. Will it ever be an end to this trope of the weak FL that cannot be without her man? No matter what actions come after this, this drama screwed it! Dont women have any value BUT being with a man? Silly me, i thought this was a modern drama, but it seems the screenwriter and director are still stuck in the past. Remote past.
The second FL is saving a lot of watching time.
NOTE: The dog is really cute, but still it breaks my heart to see a living creature condemned to live in a 4-wall cage. WARNING: Dogs are NOT toys! Please stop this nonsense of raising pets just for comfort!!

quite funny

I don't know if it's deliberately funny, but one cannot help but laugh at so many silly twists and scenes of the plot... The actors and actresses are good looking and have a lot of sex-appeal - sex sells, right? - so it's worth watchin at least for this. But like most lakorns, its sooo silly that you gotta see it to believe lol. Exaggerated scenes, exaggerated acting, like a carnival show. I sometimes wonder myself why i keep watching this? Maybe it's because you don't need to put much effort into guessing what's next, it's so obvious that my neuron feels insulted. Still i have to admit i came to watch this knowing what to expect, at least lakorns are honest in packing up old cliches. The ML and his best friend are quite hot - and all the cast is above average. Addictive in a cringy way.

worse than a schoolplay

I really wonder why this drama has got such high scores, it is really bad in so many ways that i dont know where to start... The ML and FL are both unnecessarily aggressive while pretending to be smart and "genius"... The FL pretends to hate the guy but she is always stuck to him? Also, the FL seems to have no real interest in life/ career other than bickering with the ML who obviously is not seduced by her wit, but by her all package, to put it politely. The plot is sooo repetitive too, the ML insults the FL, she realizes his intentions were "right", he insults her again, the FL realizes it was just out of concern etc. It is honestly insulting for the intelligence of all men and women out there - intellectuals or not - to believe that love is about mocking the other all the time.
I cannot believe it's a 2022 drama!
Only recommended as a challenge for CAN YOU THINK OF ANYTHING WORSE?

So boring!

Is this really a 2023 drama? It's like one of those 70s productions on a budget! If you have time, it's something you can watch together with the kids and grannies, while cooking food on the stove too!
The only nice thing to look at is the ML, who obviously has WAY MORE potential than he can display here. His acting range and expressive features dont benefit at all from this no-action drama... Nothing daring, nothing worth remembering. Plz give me a crazy lakorn instead of this!

so average!

I've started to watch this in between other dramas, and though it's quite entertaining, it's still mediocre... The FL looks mediocre, she hardly has any acting skills, and the ML, though handsome and all, is overdoing it most of the time. Dont get me wrong, they r both handsome, but so forgettable, nothing to get someone's attention. I might keep watching it since i have no other option at present, but it's NOT ENGAGING, i skip a lot of the boring scenes. The tropes are there, but it's not this that puts me off - just the general impression.
Watch it if you're a fan or super-bored.

an easy watch if you just ignore the pile of garbage

Despite being so long, it's quite easy to watch - i admit i skipped and skipped unnecessary scenes. The plot is pretty good, but the leads are not my cup of tea - the hottest one is the SML.
All the characters are morally wrong. The FL practically stalked and abused the drunk ML... He deserved it, since he feeds his women the morning-after pill. Not even doing this personally, but having the servant clean the mess?
The cast could have been way better. I dont wanna criticize them much but definitely they dont score for me.
The only interesting couple is the thug friend and the rich heiress.
This drama had potential, i'd watch a remake.

keeps me entertained!

I came to this after scrolling through a lot of boring & cliche dramas... Well, not the reputed ones - because i must've seen them all by now! So, i just stumbled on this, and here i am - totally ENCHANTED by the dynamics and actors!
It surely is far from perfect, but at least it's something new, i mean - crazy new. And the plot & characters are so engaging! Even though i can clearly see the weak spots of this drama, i will continue watching it for now!! The comments i read so far dont do it justice, since you dont have to be so strict on this romcom combined with melodrama!
If i were to have an objection? Here it comes: The two women are way too similar, not only in looks, but character too! It also becomes creepy for the ML... Shouldnt the second FL have something to her own, besides being uneducated?? SMH
Side note: i confess i watched it on fast forward way too often, but - if you have time - all small talk is really nice. It's just that i hardly ever enjoy slow pace dramas... My bad : (
I dont know abt rewatch, but for now it's so smooth on the eyes!

watch it just for the gorgeous ML !

Such a cliché rom-com that i wouldn't know where to start... The plot is hardly there, the FL has a weak scene presence, even the tropes lack quality of execution. BUT... all the credit goes to the ML who definitely saves this show being gifted with all the necessary qualities and something extra: handsome, fit, classy, funny, versatile and unique! The sense of fashion is great - nice job from whoever did this. Also the secondary cast is excellent, starting with the male secretary, who teamed with the ML in "Noble, My Love" (still the ML grew up a lot in terms of personality since that), the eccentric former porn-star mother of the FL, the kitchen beauty and grumpy manager, the tiny child and even the black not-so-stray cat. Nice scenery too.
I'm impressed with the acting talent of the ML, still as a side note i wonder... his features are all natural? He looks like a manga hero. I like him whatever the answer. <3
