A Masterclass on amazing Acting and Direction.
The story writing is layered and at times can seem rather uninspired. The story itself seems non-existent, where everything, every action, every character, and every consequence flows naturally. But the Main draw of this drama are the amazing actors and how well it is directed. Acting and Direction are nuanced. Though it is a Business drama, it has the intrigue of a Mistry and the engagement of a thriller. The actors did not ever over act. The pacing hooks you and the developments keep you interested. The drama for light views may seem a bit pointless but is layered with veteran actors playing off each other. It is like an intriguing thriller that will you guessing its outcome. The dramas main focus is acting though, and you’ll understand what I mean if you watch it. Yes the drama has been subbed. Look in the commentsQuesta recensione ti è stata utile?
Weird
It's a bit weird. I don't have anything that I can compare it to. Kamiki Ryunosuke and Iwaido Seiko, reunite after the great yokai war. Kamisama here is so creepy. He doesn't do much but the air around him is so unsettling. While watching the drama the viewer can really feel the silent hostility the protagonist feels. To know that this was the same year he shot for Kyuu, really proves why Kamiki Ryunosuke was such a sought after child actor.Questa recensione ti è stata utile?
On the other side, Jun-chan is a terminally ill old man who decides to run away from the hospital.
Their paths cross and then somehow they end up travelling to the countryside together.
The story is simple, sweet and heartwarming.
It wonderfully depicts that to love and care for someone you don't really need to have anything in common with them. Not age, not blood.
All we need is our heart.
And I got all that from it without even knowing Japanese all that well. I wish someone would pick this up and translate it.
Watch it with a light heart or when you're feeling very down. It's not all that exceptional but that's what makes it special.

What is the price of truth?
What is the price of truth? The movie greatly details this question through the lenes of the characters of the island and the police who are trying to find the answer to the mystery. The movie subverts expectations in interesting ways. Though the running time of the movie, you will question yourself, is the truth worth all of the effort. The search for one single truth leads to the destructions of so many lives. None of the characters other than the criminal, are portrayed in single black or white. They all have their own agendas and concerns, but at the end of the day are just people trying to live their lives. To a younger audience the portrayal of the islanders may seem a bit jarring, and some might find them repulsive as well, but that comes from a limited perspective of people, and how they are in real life. The acting could have been better. Actors shine in some moments, but overall two out of the three leading men, are a hit and a miss in most scenes. Similarly, the cast has some performers, who are natural, and some over acting.
The background score is gripping and aids the scenes without being overly intrusive.
The movie has a very interesting twist (layered) in the very last ten minutes, which despite not being the theme during the running minutes of the movie, add up nicely.
It is not the best movie. or the worst movie. but a worthwhile watch at least once.

A laugh riot with great rewatch value.
2PM Show was a show made especially for 2PM. Somehow, maybe because 2nd generation Idols used to give it their all in variety show, the show to this day has great rewatch value. No guests, but if you love I GOT7, most of those ideas are rehashed from this show. With Lee Junho's milky way ambitions, Jun.k's Daegu grandpa, along with Nichkhun's slight tanterms, Wooyoung's sudden Add-libs, Chansung's iron spinning endurance and Taecyeon's constant attempts at cheating; the show to this day has amazing rewatch value. Each week the members compete in missions to find out who are the best and worst 2PM members. A piggy bank filled with coins for the best member of the episode and new and innovative punishments for the worst member. Each week a new MC is selected between the members. Filled with comedic antics, the show is a laugh riot.Questa recensione ti è stata utile?
Yuuki in my opinion honestly covers the ordeals of the people around the sick person perfectly.
The acting was just right. It wasn't overly melo or overly bittersweet.
I think this was one of Kazuya-chan's best acted characters.
Everyone was quite relatable. When someone is sick we tend to think that everyone suddenly starts to care for them 24/7 but the reality is everyone has their own life that they have to live even if it hurts to do so. and that was well expressed in Yuuki.
I started crying after the first scene cause all I could think about was my sister. Even though her illness is curable it still hurts us to see her in so much pain and I'm like Hama-chan, trying to pretend everything is fine. It's definitely worth watching, especially if you're feeling down and need a cleanse. Not because it will make you want to treasure life more or anything like that but because you can get a good cry out of it to calm yourself down.
"To comprehend the value of one year,
just ask the student who failed their entrance exam.
To comprehend the value of one month,
just ask a mother who gave birth to a premature baby.
To comprehend the value of one week,
just ask the editor of a weekly newspaper.
To comprehend the value of one hour,
Just ask the lovers who are waiting to meet.
To comprehend the value of one minute,
just ask the people who missed their stop on the train.
To comprehend the value of one second,
just ask the person who managed to avoid an accident just in time.
To comprehend the value of one tenth of a second,
just ask the person who ended up with the silver medal at the olympics.
The hands of the clock will continue ticking.
Therefore treasure every moment you have. And treat everyday as the utmost gift."
