As of 2019 I've recently gotten back into to watching Asian dramas after a few years.

HOW I BECAME HOOKED TO ASIAN CULTURE

I first discovered it through anime. I was on youtube about 10 years ago and watched Sailor Moon since then I became hooked to anime. It was the anime Shugo Chara! that got me into J-Pop. I became hooked to listening to Hello! Project artist and Johnny Entertainment singers. When I was listening to a Morning Musume song I saw a group called Girls Generation and a new music video called Oh! on the sidebar. I clicked on it and it opened my eyes to K-POP and K-DRAMA. I was about 11 when I started watching Anime and about 15 when I started listening to K-POP

In 2017 I started watching my first Chinese Drama and I started to follow Chinese Pop artist too. Since last year I've been watching Thai Drama listening to a new music genre called Q-POP. I don't look back as it's opened my eyes to different cultures and opened my eyes to other entertainment out of my own country.
