Both utilized the history of The Revolutionaries during the Japanese invasion. TBRTV were fighting the Japanese invaders, whereas Uprising included the fight against lower class suppression.

Both are set in a small village with a focus on several characters who reside in the village. Slice of life with little angst (maybe from 1 or 2 characters).
