Prep for the finale
If I were to compare, I enjoyed season 1 a lot more story wise, season 2 seemed more like a filler and preparation for the season finale. The CGI did get a lot better in some scenes, with season 1 already having amazing cgi as is.Majority of the original cast was killed off (to no surprise) but the main gang lives on which I enjoyed. Season 2 is mostly introduction of characters that I assume will play a role in season 3, tho personality and story wise, they weren’t super interesting to me.
The mixture of military, emotional battles, and theorizing was nice.
There is definitely a lot of loose ends in which I hope season 3 answers.

Pointless killing
With it being sent to TIFF and having Seo Inguk and Jung Somin in it I expected something better but its heavily disappointing to say the least. Not so much of a story but it does have a massive, excessive amount of blood and sometimes physics is ignored (how does a knife slice through leg bones).
Great cast lineup so acting was great but no amazing actor/actress couldve saved such disastrous writing
In terms of gore its up there with The Witch Part 2 but lacks heavy in othet areas

Highly enjoyable romantic comedy!!
Wooseok and Hyeyoon really did amazing work in LR as their chemistry is what made LR so much more enjoyable. The drama had me gushing, blushing and all of the above while also stepping on my heart at the end of every episodes
The progression is very satisfying as theres always something happening in every episode whether its romance progression or storyline and it makes it fun to watch.
Only gripe I had is I wished the scenes of the killer were more smooth but I guess not all serial killers require a motive.
Super glad LR gave BWS a really amazing rise in popularity as Ive loved him ever since Record of Youth, and Hyeyoon did phenomenal as per her usual!

Recommended for Good Reasons!
At first I watched solely knowing SWL was in it but after finishing, wow it became one of my favourite dramas of all time. The storyline is insanely realistic, it portrays interpersonal conflicts phenomenally. The stories built on the main trio are amazing enough on their own, but the added details for the supporting female characters was a great touch - personally one of my favorite aspects of the show as its a common occurence in asian households.
The 40 episodes (online ver) was amazingly paced. The actors/actresses did fantastic job showcasing the emotion for each climatic scene ; with SWL and ZXC doing phenomenal for their character.

Average story but great acting
Plot is not something new, but both leads have great chemistry which makes it fun to watch, but the age gap (17 year old/MINOR with 23 year old) does make me uncomfortably to an extent - and its what I find A LOT of people are brushing off lolAge aside and story aside, the cast does a wondful job is saving this drama to the point I’m kicking my feet and giggling during romance scenes.
I have only watched 9/13 as of writing this and episode 9 made me very frustrated with how they decided to add in memory lost on top of having Bai Zong Yi get a brain injury - could have went a different route.

Cliche but amazing casting
6.5 might be a bit high but I did enjoy it.The story is insanely flat and dull for what it is, however the cast made it work. I found their acting amazing enough to enjoy the drama.
While giving similar vibes as Sky Castle, and Penthouse, and all the other dramas revolving around wealthy children with bullying all over, Hierarchy falls behind with the lacking plot. Everything was handled very simply and contain little complexity but I guess that isn’t a horrible thing.
As lacking as the plot is, there is one thing I enjoyed and that is the emotional intelligence the characters had, and the cast potrayed it amazingly. The main rich kids didn’t have a clear, straight goal from the start, however, their emotional development was clear. The 4 of them had a great relationship with each other and having known each other for a long time, their bond shows to an extent. Their actions do not scream high school at all, and I almost forgot that they were in high school - but their emotions were clear signs as they all show development in that aspect throughout the show. My favourite character development has to be Hera’s as she truly considered Jaei as a best friend but simply didn’t feel she got treated right, and despite her father’s business going down, she didn’t lash out on him but took their situation as is which changed her mindset towards scholarship students, all while reflecting on her friendship with Jaei.
The main stars of this drama for me were the supporting characters! Inhan and Han Jisoo (teacher) played small parts but they had strong impact on the story, most specially Inhan as his character was insanely potrayed well.
Kim Ha’s fluctuating emotions was one of the biggest dislikes with this as his character was full of uncertainty and made so much things frustrating. His goal and background was predictable but Chaemin is hot so its okay
Aesthetic wise, this drama did amazing. The cinematography was amazingly done.
At one point I thought it would take a similar route as Class of Lies and Solomon’s Perjury but it didn’t which bummed me as those 2 dramas were amazing.
This review seems like such an amazing praise but the story is empty and I found other reasons to enjoy it hahaha
