Before watching the anime for the first time, I made sure to read everything about Oda Nobunaga one could find online because I'm just a not the type of person who's ready for surprises and would rather get myself spoiled to the very end. The story of Oda Nobunaga is a unique one but it still remained the same as any other story about war and peace I learned from my History textbooks. However, this drama made me re-open my eyes and realise that you can't understand the whole story just by reading a little paragraph from your textbook.
The characters were fully developed in my opinion and all of them had an important role at one point of the story. I like the fact that every character had their time to shine and a chance to get their own little story developed. I also liked the way Kichou was portrayed in the drama because she had a way better personality than the Kichou we could see in the anime, who could only say "My Lord!" in an irritating tone, but that may just be me.
The actors were simply amazing and were one of the main reasons I started watching this drama. Oguri Shun as Oda Nobunaga/Saburo did a magnificent job and I couldn't take my eyes off Mukai Osamu and Takahashi Issei because they totally blew my mind in some scenes.
I loved the ending song song, it fit almost every episode and just gave me that warm feeling as well as the soundtrack, which gave me chills every time it started playing.
The only thing I didn't like is the open ending the drama has. I'd prefer it being either the death of Nobunaga/Saburo (because, nobody's immortal) or his time-travelling back to modern age. And if the producers planned to make a sequel to this drama, it would make no sense because there wouldn't be much time for important happenings in Nobunaga's life, considering this drama ended with Mitsuhide and Nobunaga being at Honno-ji.
I won't say this drama is highly rewatchable, but I do plan to rewatch it someday myself.
I'd recommend this drama to everyone, regardless of what type of drama you prefer.

There are a few movies that can actually make my jaw drop every five minutes of it. Well, this one is one of them. The first things that attracted me and made me watch this film are the poster which suits a good romance film (more than a mixture of romance and crime) and the name! I thought the movie was going to be more romantic and less crime, but trust me, this is worth watching!
Like I said, I kept my jaw dropped throughout the whole film because it was marvelous! I really enjoyed when and how the events took place and the acting was amazing!
At the end, I would like to tell all of you who still didn't watch the film to be emotionally prepared for a big breakdown at the end. I'm not going to spoiler, but keep tissues near, you'll need them!

The main character breaks up with her boyfriend and he dies in a car accident a week after while texting her. The then tries to unlock his phone and see what he wanted to write after that and find out why he wanted his phone to be given to her after his death. As you can see, the story is not a complex one you'd normally find in a regular 1-hour episode and it's completely understandable for a web drama. Someone may even think it's an overly cliched story or that it's way too simple, but it doesn't have to have many details and characters for it to be a quality drama. It has a beautiful connection between the past and the present, as well as two Jin Youngs who play an important role in the character development of the female lead.
The first thing I'd like to emphasise about the acting is how unforced it all looked! There weren't any overly cliched scenes and even when something important between the characters happened, the editors didn't repeat the same scene all over again but from different angles, but just let it flow naturally, which I think is a big plus for the drama. Shim Hee Sub did a great job portraying his character! I can firmly say that his portrayal of Park Jin Young immersed me in the drama even more than I thought I would be. He gave the drama the melancholic tone which the plot intended on giving it. Lee Won Geun made my heart ache with his character. He really managed to pull off a young intern feel and convey it in such a subtle way that didn't make him stand out too much, but he also didn't let his character be overlooked by the viewers. It was my first time seeing Soo Young acting even though I am a big fan of Girls' Generation, and I was pleasantly surprised. She's a decent actress, but she still has a lot of room to improve. I'm looking forwards to her future works!
Now, the music was absolutely beautiful. It was subtle, appeared at just the right places throughout the episodes and made you shed a tear if you didn't already. I'm so sad I cannot find the songs online because I'd really like to put some of them on my studying/relaxing playlists, it's such a shame!
Given that this is a web drama of only 10 episodes and no big storyline, it is highly re-watchable, but only if you're ready for experiencing the melodrama all over again.
Overall, People You May Know is a really nice drama to watch on a Sunday afternoon, so I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to watch something short and quality.
