Prequel

What I know is that this season is the prequel to the first season and is adapted from the manhua "My Sweetest You" (English), well that's just the base of the story having characters such as Su Bei, Lu Nan, Su Man, Gu Yan but the actual story seems completely different from what i had read.
One, thing also strikes me that the drama's first season was released in 2021 and the leap is of seven years but there is one scene of the plagiarism where the paper states 19th march, 2012 hence the overall story is based on the year 2018.
So, please do not watch season 2 before season 1 and confuse yourself out.
