When a Vampire meets a terrible script
A supernatural based BL series is rare and hence was interested to see this one but alas! I was dissapointed.
This series is about a dying vampire (Kim Jun Ho) who needs someone with pure blood to save his life although that remedy would turn him into a mortal. Enter fellow student (Choi Min Hyun) who can save his life but might die in the process. Will Kim Jin Ho take the risk of killing someone he loves to save his own life?
This premise sounds promising and could have been directed in a manner where every episode ends on a cliff-hanger like;
1. Kim meets Choi and later realises he is pure blood and that peaks his interest
2. He pursues Choi after learning that he can only be saved when Choi gives his blood willingly
3. While in pursuit to make Choi fall for him, Kim instead starts developing feelings for Choi
4. Choi learns Kim is a vampire but doesn't care as he is not aware of his true motives and is now in love with him
5. Choi finds out that he is pure blood and the reason behind his parents death
6. Choi starts hating vampires and stays clear off Kim. Meanwhile, he is also informed about Kim's state and the reason for his punishment
7. Time is running out for Kim and Choi offers to help save his life
8. Kim doesn't want to harm Choi and finally sacrifices himself
Its not that these elements were not shown in the series but it was not fleshed out at all. We in fact are introduced to other characters making the storyline more and more boring as its going into tangents and is turning incoherent. All this on top of sub-par acting by both the leads made it a chore to finish this series.
Another Korean BL series suffering from terrible plot that leaves us with more questions and this time it didn't even have the advantage of good acting. Give this one a miss if you want as there is not much entertainment value.
