I loved it!
In Seoul and I watched 3 movies; the Land of Happiness, Escape, and this one. Albeit very different this was by far my favorite. The time just breezed by. The dancing scenes were great! The cheerleading team all had their unique personalities. A feel good movie you can watch over and over.I thought Park Se Wan really shined, she was a magnetic presence. Also, Hyeri actually showed up to the theater and thanked us for supporting the movie. It was surreal. The movie hasn't had the success, viewership-wise as hoped. You won't regret watching it!

Just all over the place
The premise of what is basically the main conflict is a head scratcher that veers off in all these different directions. The reveal at the end or rather the subterfuge that was revealed in the end was a weird choice. The ML and SL were very hard for me to distinguish for a long time and both have a bit too much smugness to be likeable.
Park Ji Hu was a bit wasted in this series. Wallowing in self pity is not a good look. She's too talented for that.
To me the best part is the captain, I cared about her the most.

Elite cast, starts off amazing, ending is a mixed bag
I haven't seen any of his other works except for Jewel in the Palace but Ji Jin Hee was an amazing addition to this cast. In fact the whole cast is littered with heavy hitters. Even Zico hype man, Go Kyung Po returns to leave his mark on this series. Every addition to the cast in season 2 was an excellent choice and is by far the best part of this season.I really loved the first part of this series. It was heartbreaking, funny, real, etc. The GP episodes hit hard and ofc Choi Hyun Wook of Weak Hero and 25/21 just brings it as always.
But as some have mentioned in other reviews I think it loses it way a bit at the end. It's almost as if it was too influenced by US tv as they go full John Wick/Jason Bourne/Sons of Anarchy/Homeland, etc. Jun Ho is placed in an impossible situations and miraculously escapes. This show was never about that. Thank goodness it was only 6 episodes because once you go that route you are trapped and you have to continue down that road by having to raise the ante to ridiculous predicaments and last second saves. Just imagine if there were 6-10 more episodes of that, it would have gotten old very quick.
But still on the strength of the cast and some superb episodes I give it an 8.5. I can see why people love it as well as why some don't think it is as good as season 1. I still binged this in two days. Definitely a must watch.

A mess with plotholes and too long without Park Ju Hyun
Plot holes, odd motivations, a very forgetful child who couldn't remember people she spent a LOT of time with, and a stretch of episodes of not enough Park Ju Hyun. The logic just didn't flow from each scene. I wish they could have spent more time working on the flow. The cast is great but at the end just had it in in the background.Choi Ye Bin did draw me to her, I'll be curious to see her next roles. Perhaps a happy one?

What a mess
So he finds out he is the father and who he had a child with and he barely reacts except for worrying about his genes? Scheming to get the girl his son has been in love with and unconvincingly saying he's trying to help him? Ughh come on. But with all the high scores it's doesn't seem like everyone is as weirded out as I am. I assume it's mainly the ML fans. I thought he was funny at first but then he got annoying. And I do understand we have to suspend reality to enjoy this show but it was harder to do as the series went along. Why would we root for this guy? Did he have any feeling for Bo Hee who is obviously struggling? The Mgr? His own son? Did the love story change throughout the season because it was a jarring change.I'm a huge Lee Se Young fan but her damsel in distress act got tiresome. What a misuse of a great talent, I'm glad she was able to excel in the Red Sleeve after this debacle. Didn't feel the chemistry with the ML at all. If the creators didn't want her to end up with Ji Hoon, MJ was a much better option that um Ji Hoon's dad. In fact I thought it was a poor decision not to feature MJ and Bona more. They were way more interesting than the ML.
Also really liked Ji Hoon's rap at the showcase early in the season. Why not give him more opportunities? I cared way more about his story than the freeloading, deadbeat partner and dad who also steals the girl he's been in love with for years.
I won't be finishing this as I got to 20, was grossed out about the impending shift and then just read the recaps.
