They have pretty much the same vibe
- both have adorable leads
- both have some tom-and-jerry fights
- both have thrilling suspense and romance as the focus of the drama
- both have really great music
- they both investigate a murder that one of the leads is interested/involved in
- they are both police-themed dramas

They are honestly quite different, MMS doesn't have any major crimes in it, but MPS revolves around a crime
But the lead couple in both the dramas give off similar vibes.
Both dramas are quite gentle paced and yet thrilling at the same time.
They both, in different ways, somehow manipulate time and in some sense travel through it
They're both Sci-Fi
Anyway, they're quite different but the lead couple and the whole drama give off similar vibes, sweet and cute couple but also a thrilling story

similarities
- Both take place in an institute setting
- A girl is interacting with a boy group of 4
- Falls in love with the one she hates the most
- In the beginning hate the group except one guy (that one guy in both dramas are sensible and reserved)
- The ML starts mentally acting mature ones they fall in love with the FL

Differences
- BOF is modern while CAA is historical
- In CAA the FL is disguised as a boy
- In BOF the group of 4 bully everyone but in CAA the group only bullies the FL
- In BOF one of them is a play boy but in CAA one of them is love sick
- In BOF one of them is a sportsman while in CAA one them is good in martial arts

Both amazingly outstanding dramas! Very thrilling and keeps you guessing the whole way!
with 2 amazing plots! Definitely have to watch both!

similarities

They both give off the same vibe overall but I think CAA had a bit more to its story than MG.
Basically all the dramas about BOYS OVER FLOWERS give off a similar vibe to CAA.

- The male lead in both wants to protect the female lead
- They've both got great storylines for the second lead couples
- Both couples in the 2 dramas know that they love each other dearly from the start of the drama but there are lots of hesitations in the relationship
- Both have got delicate but strong female leads
- Both are Action, Romance genres and they have a pretty good amount of comedy too

differences
- The male lead in ML is a security guy at one point but in DOTS the male lead is a soldier
- The female in DOTS is a doctor but in ML the female lead is an aspiring actor
- ML is chinese while DOTS is korean

These two dramas have quite different and unique storylines and plots but they give off the same vibe. If you've watched one you definitely need to give the other a chance.
