Impressions
At the beginning I was not impressed with this drama, I'll be honest. I am not a fan of romanticizing bulling. But my brain apparently didn’t process the "psychological" tag among all the others and when I finally understood I looked at it with a different mindset. It got me hooked, yeah. I guess being in the same idol group helps a lot, because their chemistry was great and their dynamic felt natural. The last 2 eps felt a lil bit rushed, I can't put my finger on the why I felt that, but I can pass that because overall it was great. Now, people and their obsession with kisses!!! Is that really the defining point to score a drama? for real?! my goodness. let me get this straight... So TBLs with mediocre plots and cringe acting are deserving 10 because they do have make out sessions, right?! But an exquisite KBL drama is no good if there's no kissing? I am pissed! A really great drama gets low score because of horny brats who didn't get what they wanted! Look... I get it, it's a romance drama among other tags, but you HAVE the romance. The touches, the glances, the subtle smiles and the straight up lovey dovey staring screams romance! The story was so beautifully portrayed, they had such a great chemistry, loved how natural their dynamic was(yes, I'm repeating myself), the character development was so nice and in the end they were so good at expressing what they feel that they dipped those red flags from the beginning in bright shiny green. From my pov, I am more annoyed when they do kiss but they resemble 2 dead fishes lip locked. I would rather prefer no kiss as long as it's a good drama. If they kiss and it's nice, halleluiah (enters Our dating Sim). KBL takes the industry like a storm and i'm here for it all in no matter if there's kisses or not. They build great background stories, the plot is well constructed and the actors chemistry is always on point... with a few small exceptions. So yeah, Let's go Korea!!!
In conclusion, IT IS WORTH IT!

THIS SERIES NEEDS MORE HYPE!!!
Tbh, i had many doubts about this series. I think i started watching it after it already aired for 7 or 8 episodes. Because i am a polka and where is New or Tay, i am there also i had a duty to see it:)) however i still struggled when it came to bringing myself to watch it and questioned my loyalty at some point ° ~°But because i am subscribed to gmmtv channel i kept seeing highlights on my wall, slowly it grew on me because i found myself laughing at the characters antics. So, after i binge watched first 8 episodes cause i had to catch up, i was hooked! I was counting the days until next Monday, and i am not usually into time travel series and stuff but this one had so many interesting stories and tackled so many sensitive subjects in such a fun and respectful way that i simply got to love it. The actors were great with small hiccups here and there but nothing to be upset about. Army and Joe... Mannnn, those two need their own series, fr! The chemistry was top notch *chef's kiss*
Anyways, this series needs more hype and publicity even if for nothing else than the subjects it tackles that everyone has something to learn about!!! GO WATCH IT! are you still here?! Go go go !!! Its on Youtube, on GMMtv's channel, and for FREE! so no reason for whining about any subscription fees. Ok, Bye!

One of the best K-BLs!
Korea takes the BL industry by storm and they create such masterpieces. Even before Bl,Korea was good at adapting webtoons/manhwas, and now that they took on the Yaoi also, the success is roaring. This series is one of the examples. The actors, not only MLs - everyone, did such a great job in telling the story and their overall chemistry is top! I was a little disappointed at first with their kisses but i honestly think it's because i know the manhwa and i raised my expectations based on it, when it's not the best thing to do. The adaptation is just a story follower, not a manhwa coming to life. Afterwards i completely ignored that and i could enjoy the series as one should, because it's one of the top BLs - and in the last ep i got my reward, an improvement-that's all i'm saying :) I usually think about smt per ensemble and when it comes to different aspects of a show,i don't like to put the blame on just a particular set of people. So, if the kisses were lacking, that doesnt mean that it's necessarily the actors fault. I do not care, because as long as there's the chemistry, other signs of affection and the needed tension i can pass it trough and enjoy the series. I would be very disappointed with myself if i would resume my entertainment level to just some kisses. I am watching for the story, not to get hot and bothered :)))) If it does happen though, i won't complain. Double standards,i know :))) let's move on....You can see the actors are comfortable with eachother and they work well together. It had funny bits here and there without making it cringe. This is one thing i love about K-Dramas, the humour that is a given, they are naturally funny so it doesn't feel forced at all and no matter the plot, the funny bits flow natural. Gongchan's smile lights up a room and Seo Won's manner and gaze makes you feel all the emotions. The second leads are just simply a treat and seeing how the things didn't conclude in a way or another for them,i really do hope that the directors are thinking about making a series about them, maybe with small peeks into WY and TJ life. Wishful thinking :P
The OST was perfect also! I had my share of series where the music felt so out of place or it was too loud or at the wrong moment and it ruined a good story.
Being an adult, i will always be a sucker for mature stories, i relate better to them. That doesn't mean i don't enjoy a highschool /university story, but an adult environment hits different for me, hence why my top Bl series are mostly on that trope.
That being said, I hope everyone who read this will or already enjoyed this series as much as the rest of us who are raving about it :P
On to the next masterpiece SK! Fighting!

Worthwhile? Mmm, no.
Tbh, i never understood why people ship ohm and fluke. I never got anything from them... In UWMA they didn't have anything and they are so freaking mismatched. Ive watched the series for WinTeam. And lets be honest, UWMA had a good story... Unlike this one. So its not the same old "oh, they're good but the plot didn't help". No!Back to this one... I started to watch it after i saw some short videos with payoo and rain. They kept the series afloat even though someone decided to just shun them somewhere in the nowhere for a number of episodes. I just binge watched 5 episodes or so to finish it already because i just do not like to leave things unfinished but my god, how i struggled. Fluke is crying, Ohm is a walking mannequin and the story sucks. There, i said and I'm not even sorry.
Just no. I didn't like it and i think OhmFluke are too overrated.
Watch at your own risk!

Emotional rollercoaster!
Oh my God. this one played my emotions like a yoyo, i swear. the flashbacks made me smile, laugh and be giddy and then the present time made me sad and i even cried. when i heard about a 2nd season, i was like "oh, here we go *eyeroll*" because lets face it, usually 2nd seasons kinda suck. but this one, was so real and raw. everyone gets overwhelmed at one point or another in a relationship, mostly so when its a busy life. and if you lack some maturity or have some past trauma and issues- you make the poorest decisions. And i really felt this in this drama. they played well on it. And the acting was marvelous. i lived all the sadness and cried as if i was the one there. the story went smoothly, didn't feel any confusion at any point...the character development was nicely done and their reconciliation didn't felt cheesy or forced. simply 2 people who admitted their mistakes, understand eachother and love one another so much they wanted to make it work. I'm beating myself up for not giving this drama a chance earlier. i kept skipping it and now i feel like a fool.Questa recensione ti è stata utile?
A gem...but not everyone's cup of tea!
People saying its disturbing... With the living corpse and all. And yet, they watch vampire shows and movies with no problem. Vampires are DEAD too! It's fiction so treat it as such🙄 Anyway... Yeah, it was a beautiful drama, great actors and chemistry, great work behind the cameras... Everything was masterfully done. I gave it an 9 for the ending. Even tho i'm good with a sad ending because it gives life a little spice, im still a sucker for happy-endings,so yeah... I know i expected it to be sad, but there still was a teenie tiny hope that some other miracle might happen. So yeah... Worth the watch, but keep a box of tissues near-the tears are gonna flood. 👍🏻👍🏻👌🏻Questa recensione ti è stata utile?
Not for everyone...
To be honest,at first i didnt like it. felt somehow cringy and gave toxic vibe. BUT... as i continued to watch i realized that it actually depicts real life struggles and relationship dynamics. I mean,we have a guy on the spectrum who falls in love with a guy who feels so out of his league it's impossible to have him, so he resumes to love him and worship him as a king/god, because that's the only kind of love he thinks he can give and have. And then,Kiyoi, the guy he put on a pedestal, loves him back but it's so difficult to break the wall Hira built that he gets frustrated, angry and gets hurt everytime he tries to approach him from a different angle. seriously...thats the closest to real life as you can get. It's not the typical highschool romance and i loved it in the end!Questa recensione ti è stata utile?

The one to save all the others!
Came back here after finishing HIStory 5,and watched it again so my heart is mended( read my review there and you will understand). From all the seasons, this one was the closest to perfect. The plot, the actors, the chemistry...it had action, comedy and romance all in one. No couple with weird cringe backstory(I'm looking at you History 1,2 and 4). So yeah, when i get disappointed by one of the seasons, i come back to this one to forget and all is good again in the world. Both series from season 3 are up there, at the very top, but i'm more into this one because i have a weakness for a mature story so each with their own. All in all, 10 stars with no hesitation !Questa recensione ti è stata utile?
Work of ART!
First of all...i want to take a moment of silence for the people that didn't discover this gem yet! 🙏I keep coming back to it for the Nth time, and each time i discover new things I haven't seen before and enjoy it even more than the last time. i have no idea how it is possible. Seriously, this one is THE Korean BL genre work of art. I mean, "To my star" will always have a special place in my heart, ngl... But this one is right there, a small step higher on the ladder. And i wish so badly for a second season, but I swear "To my star" makes me fear it though :)) Everyone in this drama created such a great environment, everyone had their place and purpose, no one gave the filler feeling or anything like that. The chemistry of the characters was beautiful... Not only the MLs but everyone. So yeah... I doubt there's gonna be other drama to surpass this one. Chef's kiss👏🏻

Good in it's own way...
Well...i don't even know where to start. Just let me say that all in all its a good show worth to watch. To be honest, i really liked it. Liked the actors and how they portrayed their character, and the story flowed and didn't felt forced or rushed, though it did had some misses here and there. Like in any other relationship they had misunderstandings and made rash decisions that had painful consequences. I can understand that more so when it comes to feelings that are frowned upon. The main leads lacked chemistry a bit and they gave more a friends vibe than lovers so when it came to romantic scenes it was a little bit cringe from my point of view. One thing that annoys me though is the dead fish lip lock. And is not just a BL thing. Seriously, i know it might be uncomfortable for some to kiss full on, i really understand ,even if it's their job basically. But i would be fine with a peck as long as it feels natural. I don't need NC scenes or whatever as long as its a good story and it keeps me interested, but locking lips and stay there stuck like a pair of dead fishes, a big fat NO! so yeah, an 8 for that and for the lack of spark between the leads. Otherwise, good show!Questa recensione ti è stata utile?
DELITHFUL!
This series has everything you need. A good plot, great chemistry, romance, sadness and happy ending. It got me hooked since the beginning, however I still didn't expect it to be this good.
The story is not complex or complicated. It flows smooth and gives you an insight of the past without dragging or rushing it. A simple misunderstanding that led to 7 years of longing and then they found each other again. No plot holes or confusion.
The actors are good, they were able to make me feel their emotions and their chemistry felt natural. I will have to give it to Lee Seung Gyu... the way I chocked when Ki Tae panicked and started searching and shouting for Wan and then started crying; I seriously was on the verge of tears. He is a gem and I hope to see him in bigger roles! Not that I have any complaints about Lee Jong Hyuk, but that's how the story was I guess. They both had good character development and they both as actors did a great job!
Bonus points for the kisses! No dead fishes liplock, ladies and gentlemen! The cute little pecks in between the main ones, made me giddy and smile each time.
Being a limited budget series, I have to say it's much better than some others with a lot more investment. No over the top make up, simple wardrobe- made them more realistic, well constructed dialogues and typical Korean humor here and there to make you giggle. The only upsetting part was that the episodes are to short, hence sometimes the continuity suffers. But you can draw your own conclusions without feeling confused or like you are missing something. We just don't get to see some scenes that would have been great to see, but the story still flows.
All in all, it's a make you feel good drama! it's on my favorites list now!
