I'm definitely going to rewatch the entire Gokusen drama in the future because I assure you, this will never age. From 2002 to 2009, Yankumi and her students had been touching the hearts of Japanese audience. It's now 2016 and I can still tell they have... to various audiences in the entire planet.
This movie's OST didn't get to me, though.

The good thing is Yankumi is pretty as ever like she never ages; and I think she lost a few pounds. ;-) Her moves also improved.
I love the OST and I'm 100% sure you will love it, too. So if you wanna download it, look for Niji by Aqua Timez (Gokusen 3 OST).

So pure to the heart...
The first episode was already a rollercoaster - the ending definitely made me click "Episode 2" immediately. Both sisters were cute and funny. I like Ishihara Satomi's (Misaki) acting in this drama - she was a natural. It was like watching my younger sister. Totally relate! Who else has an annoying little sister, who's lovable of course, but unquestionably irritating?
I really like Eito. That's how a boy in love usually acts.
It was emotional towards the end. However, I wasn't satisfied maybe because it didn't end as how I'd like it to end. I wanted it to be more emotional and tragic - as in heartbreaking, heart-rending, agonizing ending! (Haha you, wicked canciochi ;-) An ending like I just described leaves an impression that will take a long time to forget. It will tug... that's how I like my drama. Oh, does that make me a sadist or a masochist? Nyahaha! How about you?
This is an enjoyable family drama—a simple sibling rivalry drama with a hint of love story, sweet and crazy at times and yet so pure to the hearts of the audience.
The OST is perfect and fitting to each situation > Happiness by 云の泣 (Dear Sister OST)
If "Misaeng a.k.a. Incomplete Life" is your kind of slice-of-life drama, then you'll like this one, too.
Note: "Misaeng" is a Korean drama about the life of office workers—regular and contractual.

The acting is great. These two lead actors are superb.
The OST? I don't remember how it sounds at all. You know what this means.

1. Too much conspiracy it's too painful to watch. My heart bleeds for Prince/King Gwanghae.
2. I despise Prince Neungyang; he's very greedy and crude that my blood hits the ceiling! I even swear that I won't watch a show with him in it ever again. That's how cross I am with him. Yes, this is getting personal. Gggrrrrr!!! Same goes for that bitch Jo Yeo Jung.
3. I'm so impressed by Gae Shi's devotion to King Gwanghae; it's heart-rending.
4. I believe Seo Kang Joon's (Hong Joo Won) acting is a bit lacking; even his speaking of the historic language is awkward. I still like him, though, especially those brown eyes. Meanwhile, Han Joo Wan's (Kang In Woo) sad emotion is superb that at first, I thought he was sad in his real life; or perhaps he really is. And I've always admired and respected Cha Seung Won's (Prince/King Gwanghae) acting skills.
5. I hate that they cut conversations (even trivial ones) too often as if trying to make everything a mystery—it's appears pretentious—and show them as flashbacks bit by bit. Why don't they leave those insignificant conversations alone and just focus on the significant ones?
6. Ever since King Gwanghae disappeared from the scene, finishing this drama has become a struggle. :-( Bogosipeoyo, Gwanghaegun!!!
7. This drama has so many time leaps it can beat all dramas in that area; well, it covers three kings. :-)
8. And have you ever wondered? Why do they shake the body of someone who's injured or dying? It must hurt a lot. I laugh every time.
Overall Impression: It is a good drama. I'll probably rewatch it 4 years from now but surely, it'll only be the first half of it where Gwanghae still exists. Then, I'll skip to the last episode... or not. Hee hee...

Thrilling then goes in circles...
How can the police be so stubbornly stupid? Who wouldn't doubt the judgment of each so-called criminal in this society? I ask, “With all these evidences present, did he really do it?"I was moved and toyed with throughout the first ten episodes—suspense, thrill and emotions overflowing. I could say that brains and devotion were obviously poured into this drama.
Then from 11th to the final episode, they began running around in circles, making me dizzy watching them. It seemed that the staff got overexcited and thoughtlessly spilled everything; thus, they were drained of ideas to fill the remaining episodes.
Another turn-off was that they cut off high points and climaxes only to reveal them through flashbacks; as a result, it lessened the impact.
Overall, I appreciated the wild ride so I gave it 8/10.
The OST, “The Day You Come” sounds a bit like “If I Saw You In Heaven.” It's heartwarming and the voice of the singer, Yoo Seung Woo, is calming.
The closest drama to “Two Weeks” is “God’s Gift: 14 Days” but I much prefer the latter because it contained so many twists and turns and mysteries, and the ending was remarkable and jaw-dropping.
This one ended happily ever after.

This is no Gokusen, not at all. “Island's Teacher” is a plain slice-of-life drama, short—consisting of only six episodes, no comedy.A place of exile or a paradise? Difficult and troubled kids from big cities are sent to this remote island in Kagoshima because of various reasons but one purpose: to heal their emotional wounds. With the help of teachers, foster parents and the kindness of local people, the overseas students gradually change, they rebuild their self-worth and reconcile. And there’s this previous student who returns to the island as a teacher; along with her is a scar throbbing.
The setting is beautiful: the island, beach and sea breeze, dawns and sunrises. It’s a spectacle of purity and new beginnings. I can almost smell the fresh scent of zephyr.
It’s pleasing to see the actors just enjoying and living in their roles; the acting is just effortless. You feel their pain, you smile and laugh with them. While the performance is well delivered, Natsumura Chihiro’s character is inconsistent. (SPOILER: She’s supposed to be good at keeping her secrets and problems veiled but she willingly divulges it to a kid. There are couple more instances that I prefer not to disclose.) Other than that, Nakama Yukie faultlessly plays the lead character.
Overall, the story is fine and calm. (I watched it at dawn; it was the perfect time so, I really felt the emotion.) There’s nothing to look forward to in each episode; it might bore those who are not into serene type of dramas.

The suspense? It will keep you going. There is this certain character who'll make you curious, and some mysterious events which the writer skillfully plotted so that these questions won't be answered until you completed the entire drama.
The romance? There is more than enough of it; therefore, those who love romance dramas will definitely fall for this one. As for me, I had a love-hate feeling since episode 7. I realized that I liked Shin Sun Ae so much—and bled for her, too—enough to dislike the real Na Bong Seon. Love is happiness and sadness. :-( Ouch! My throat still hurts.
The casts? Like always, Kim Seul Gi (Shin Sun Ae) is hilarious that I always watch the dramas she's in. She's not pretty as doll but her funny personality is enough to make you like her. Park Bo Young (Na Bong Seon) is surprisingly energetic and cute. I didn't see it coming because she was serious in other dramas and movies. However, her voice is annoyingly loud. Jo Jung Suk (Kang Seon Woo), on the other hand, is a natural actor. I didn't swoon all over him, and I can't see myself doing so in the future, but he truly did a great job here. He earned my respect. Overall, that was a bunch of amazingly brilliant actors!
The OST? Actually, I neither remember how those sounded nor I care.
I won't rewatch this.
Somehow, "49 Days" and "Oh My Ghost" are similar; although, the first one is melodramatic while the latter is more comedic.

The fight scenes? I think that is just spice. Actually, I think Yankumi's fighting ability didn't improve at all and is unconvincing, almost ridiculous. However, the story is awesome and very enjoyable.
I remember watching this on TV drama locally dubbed when I was in elementary school and so, this is my first rewatch. I'll probably watch it again in two years.
The OST? I love and even downloaded Kizuna by Kamenashi Kazuya. I think it's a nostalgic song like anime OSTs.

This 9-episode fantasy drama is funny and sad, and the casts are adorable:
* Uehara Choko (Nakama Yukie) is pretty as always like she never ages, seriously! And she's a natural actress.
* Uehara Kohei (Sawamura Ikki). I saw his calm acting in Gokusen so I didn't see it coming—he's a comedian!
* Uehara Tonbo (Kimino Yuma) is very cute and a candy.
* Uehara Aoi (Shida Mirai) is not pretty to me but she gave justice to Aoi.
* Mifune Yoshiaki (Namase Katsuhisa). Damn hilarious!!! A veteran actor!
... However, there's just one exception—Teacher Yoshinaga. It's the way she acts that annoys me. Maybe it's the character she portrays, but cutesy acts like that really bother me because she looks immature, unnatural, almost stupid.
Ghost Mama Sousasen didn't get interesting until episode 3; so, if you couldn't feel it at the beginning, just get past the first two episodes. I'm keeping this because I might rewatch this in the future. I love the OST but I can't find it anywhere. Alas, I don't know the title.

Who Are You: School 2015

Definitely not like "School 2013" nor "God of Study"
After watching "School 2013," which took a big part of my heart, I went straight to this one.I was actually a bit disappointed with "Who Are You: School 2015". Yes, it had mystery and bullying which made this one a drama to look forward to. However, it lacked the "school" aspect. Of course they were students and they were in school, but what I meant by lacking was the student spirit I felt while watching "School 2013" and "God of Study" - both dramas tackled about students striving to pass exams and graduating.
I'm sorry that I can't help but compare this one to the two dramas I mentioned above. Like I said, both focused more on what was school—the hardships the students faced; conflicts between teachers, parents and the system itself.
I say "School 2013" is still my favorite.
I'm not saying that "Who Are You: School 2015" was bad. It was just not what I hoped.
Plus, I've always tried to shy away from romance genre. The romance here was, at first, exciting but it downgraded to the usual romantic cliché. She was two-timing in ways more than one. LOL
Nonetheless, I believe that many people will love "Who Are You: School 2015." Especially, teenagers and those who are into romance. And the OST is badass.
In terms of acting, the one who stood out from the rest was Jo Soo Hyang as Kang So Yeong.
I won't re-watch this.

Story: I love the refreshing feel of this drama. The story starts out so good, then interesting, then funny, then boring, then funny, then boring, then boring and repetitive and uninteresting you can't keep from wanting to drop it. I completed it, though, because I don't want to waste my effort of downloading it. The consolation is the love story of Hae Shil and Jung Geun; it is hilarious and cute it actually surpasses Geon Woo's and Jung Joo's roles. And I love Mayor Hwang Wook. There are times I root for him than Geon Woo.
Acting/Cast:
The acting is good. They just acted according to their roles even though the characters are ridiculous - old people acting like kids. They pulled it off.
Lee Jung Joo is very soft-hearted it becomes annoying. I think the character is somehow stupid. Like Lee Sang Yoon said in Liar Game, "I hate girls who think being stupid is being good". Well, something like that.
Baek Geon Woo is so kid-like. Sometimes he's a jerk but he's very kind too. You'll love him and you'll hate him and repeat.
Mayor Hwang Wook: Pity! He is adorable and cute.
Mok Ji Won: I like to pull out her eyes, make it a necklace and sell it to her for $1M. Money and fame is love to her Seo Yi Ahn pulled it off. She convinced me to hate Ji Won.
Kim Hae Shil: She's okay. She went through a hard time and you can understand her why she's acting like that. But 30 years is too long. Well...
Song Jung Geun: I love him. Love him, love him, love him. Why? Who wouldn't? His personality is so cute. He talks big and acts like a kid. Haha! Lee Sung Jae is an incredible actor. I saw him acted as villain. I never thought he could act Jung Geun.
Music: It did not convince me to download at least one OST. They're nice, though.
I won't re-watch nor recommend this.
