Flat Story but Amazing Acting Performances from the Two Child Actresses
The story is a bit flat but the acting performances of the two child actresses: Park So-Yi and Ki So-Yu are amazing, truly unbelievable especially considering So-Yu's age (I think she was only 6 years old at the time of filming). The ending is a bit confusing, I guess the dad was being reported to the police for abusing Min-Ha based on Hyun-Soo's diary as evidence -- thus Min-Ha is being taken care of by a foster family thereafter.
It's heartbreaking to see the separation of the two girls after Hyun-Soo indeed had to leave Min-Ha for a better life in Canada, but it's heartwarming to see that Min-Ha is now living happily in a much better foster family environment (compared to her old abusive family environment), and even taking an elder sister role for her younger foster sister, reading her stories (similar to what Hyun-Soo did for her last time). Seeing Hyun-Soo's photo on her desk also implies that the two girls (Hyun-Soo in Canada and Min-Ha in Korea) are still keeping in touch.
Overall, it's a good and heartwarming short drama to watch, to appreciate the acting of the two child actresses. Highly recommended.

Beautiful story with amazing performance of the child actress
"You're So Precious To Me", also known as "My Lovely Angel", is a movie that tells a beautiful story of a relationship between a failed business owner and a blind and deaf 7-year-old girl. The girl is the daughter of one of his female staff who had died in an accident (most of his staff are mainly female anyway, I guess it's due to the nature of the business, which was not explored in depth). When he came to the staff's apartment to try to recover the deceased staff's debt, he encountered the girl.To the apartment's landlord, he pretended to be the girl's dad so he could act as her guardian and recover the deposit for the apartment. He moved in and while initially he was indifferent towards the girl, eventually he had to take care of her and that's where the bonding started. When he found out that the bank would confiscate the apartment (including the deposit), he took the girl to a countryside town to find an aunt who was in debt with the girl's deceased mom to see if he could recover the money.
They met a nice family of watermelon farmers (despite having to steal one of their watermelons at first and getting caught by the CCTV, lol). He couldn't find the "aunt" since she might be just a scammer. His creditor managed to find him and demand him to pay off all the debts. He tried to return the girl to her biological father but the father didn't want to take her. Deciding that it would be better for the girl to live under the social services' care instead of staying with her, he brought the girl to an orphanage, although in the end, he changed his mind.
The acting performance of the actor Jin Goo and especially the child actress Jung Seo Yeon is amazing. Without even talking, the child actress can portray a blind and deaf girl perfectly using her body gestures and especially her facial expressions. It's amazing considering that the child actress was only 6-7 years old during filming. With such a brilliant acting performance and her cute and adorable face, we can't help but cry when she cries, and smile when she smiles or laughs.
There are some minor plot holes in the story, but they are not too significant and are paid off by the stellar performance of the actor and the child actress. The build-up of their chemistry and bonding from just an indifferent guy who wants to recover money to a paternal father-daughter affection is heartwarming. The ending scene where the girl cried when he was gone (albeit for just a while) and when he came back to comfort her, and eventually told her (using the finger gestures language on her palm) that she's her dad now, made me cry.
I agree that the ending is indeed a bit too open, while it seems that he changed his mind and decided to take her, we do not know how he would be able to raise the girl eventually, considering that he doesn't have any money and has a lot of debts. Not too sure if it's being done to pave the way for a sequel.
Overall, a very touching and heartwarming movie. Highly recommended!

Great and heartwarming family drama, unique storyline, great cast performance
I have watched all the 10 episodes in 1-2 days. It is a great and heartwarming family drama, with a unique storyline -- during the initial episodes, I thought it would be similar to "See You In My 19th Life" - a reincarnation process where the girl only remembered her past life when she was around 10 years old. However, this was proven not to be true when the story progressed. It was a great performance by almost all the cast and the child actress Maida Nono who portrays Marika is the shining star of this drama with her impeccable acting skills: as a dominant (and jealous, lol) wife, as a caring mother (to Mai), as a caring elder sister (to Yuri), as a forgiving daughter (to her dementia mother), and a confused child (when she became her original Marika instead of Takae). How a 10-year-old actress can pull off such an amazing acting performance is beyond words. She reminds me of Yuna of "The Kidnapping Day".
I have some mixed feelings about the ending -- the findings at the end of episode 8 that it was not reincarnation, but just Takae "borrowing" Marika's body, is sad. That means the existence of Takae is only temporary and she can't stay in the body forever, and I can already predict what the ending would be like.
Nevertheless, the last 24 hours of Takae spending her last time with the family is bittersweet. :) I'm happy to see that Keisuke and Mai can finally get closure and accept that Takae had to go and they have to move on. It's quite unbelievable though that they kept the little girl awake until the next morning with a packed schedule, so they can make use of the last 24 hours, lol.
For those of you who avoid this drama because of the title, you don't have to be afraid and just watch the drama. Yes, the plot is a bit weird (I would still say that their initial plan for the husband to marry the little girl when she reaches 18 is indeed creepy), but there are no romantic scenes between the husband and the little girl -- even on slightly more romantic scenes, the adult Takae will take over the scene instead of the little girl. It's a heartwarming family drama that the whole family can watch.
It is highly recommended!

Unique and original story, with some missing plots but supported by great casting!
It's a unique and original story but with some missing plots here and there. The storyline goes up and down throughout all the episodes although the happy ending is quite warming. The casting is great, and the acting performance of all the actors, especially the supporting ones, is awesome. The characters I like are the ML's mother, Fish the transgender (he can be very handsome and beautiful lol), and the part-timer.
And last but not least, I love the little girl Yul with all my heart -- I am quite sensitive to topics related to child abuse and my heart breaks when I see the scars and wounds on her body when the ML's mother changed her clothes. It should be quite a challenge for the young actress to portray such a heavy role and she's doing it very well.
As I said earlier, the happy ending is heartwarming, although I hope that the ML and the FL policewoman get married and adopt Yul -- instead of Yul going back to Vietnam to live with her paternal grandmother as implied during the video call at the end.
Overall - it's quite an entertaining drama, a mix of comedy and mystery genres. It is quite recommended to watch.

Beautiful and touching story with awesome acting performance by the FL child actress
I finished watching the drama up to episode 16, I was 7 years late. The last episode broke my heart, especially when Geum-Bi is on a near-death experience with Death and Mr. Fox, and with little aunt Jun Hee advising her how to go back so she can still spend more time with her Dad and Mom.Outstanding drama, with an excellent performance by Heo Jung-Eun, the female lead actress. I can't get enough of her acting performance, her facial expressions especially her eyes. She was only 9 years old during filming, how a 9-year-old girl put up such a good acting performance baffles me. Oh Ji-Ho, Park Jin-Hee and Oh Yoon-Ah's acting performances also help to carry the show.
The drama mainly reflects the life of the FL (Geum-Bi, portrayed by Jung-Eun), who was being abandoned by her aunt after being diagnosed with the Niemann-Pick disease type C (NPC) and had to look for her dad who was serving time in jail. Eventually, the FL crosses paths with many other not-so-good and bad people, including a lonely woman who lost her youngest sister due to an accident, his dad's friend-turn-enemy, and her alcoholic biological mom -- and the drama beautifully shows how the FL changes all the people around her to be better, making us fall in love with her.
This dominates the first 12-13 episodes of the show, and then it changes when the FL's disease symptoms start to develop, and the last 2-3 episodes show how the FL fights for her life -- she is determined not to give up easily (despite Death and Mr. Fox encouraging her to go to the bright light at the end of the "forest tunnel" so that she can end all her pain). She still wants to live because she still wants to spend more time with her Dad and Mom.
Overall, this is a must-watch drama. It has a so-called "happy" ending (which is more of a compromise between sad and happy, to be honest), a good cast, and a good OST (I love the opera/orchestra-type chorus song). Highly recommended!

Well-written, light and heartwarming drama
Finally, have finished watching all the 25 episodes. You may see some comments I made while watching the drama in the "Comments" section.Tbh, I seldom watch Chinese dramas, let alone write reviews, but I think this drama deserves my review. It is a very well-written, light and heartwarming drama about a young girl who had a crush (or "puppy love" as they called it) on her brother's best friend when she was a teenager, which develops into genuine and unconditional love for him when she enters university and becomes an adult.
I love the storyline, it's simple, light, and heartwarming, without any major villains -- the only so-called "villains" would be the ML's ex-creditor who kept on harassing him, and her friend who happened to be the FL's superior in the company where she's interned, and some schoolgirl bullies who bullied the FL's friend when they were still at school.
The rest are all positive characters with heartwarming relationships and their respective chemistries. I love the brother-sister relationship between FL and her brother, as well as between FL and her brother's friend with whom she is secretly having feelings. Love how they act as protective elder brothers to protect their mei mei from bullies. Love the bickering between the elder brother and the younger sister. Their acting is awesome and feels natural.
I also love the buddy friendship between the ML and the FL's elder brother, as well as the friendship between the FL and her three roommates at the university. I also love the FL's parents, both the mom and dad are portrayed as ideal parents who eventually are very supportive of their daughter.
Everything is being portrayed warmly. I believe this is partly due to the amazing acting performance of the actors, not only the main actors but the supporting actors as well. Their acting is awesome and feels natural. The main lead actress, Zhao Lusi, stands out for being able to portray the main FL character from her teenage years until she graduates from university. She is very pretty, cute and adorable. I also love the acting of the SML Victor Ma, who portrays the FL's elder brother. His bickering and interaction with her little sister (both the young and the adult version of the sister) is very heartwarming to watch - thanks to his superior acting skills.
Another thing, the younger FL character is depicted to be 14 years old (8th grade), but the young actress portraying the character (Zhang Xi Wei) seems to be younger, around 11-12 years old, I think? Her acting is awesome for a child actress her age, it's always a delight watching her on screen in the earlier episodes. I predict she will become an amazing great actress when she grows up.
It's a highly recommended drama everyone should watch.
