I started Korean dramas when a korean friend introduced them to me at debate camp (which was one of the only good things that happened at debate camp). Ever since, I've been an addict and lover of all things Korean. 

Now for a few (okay... so more than a few...) of my favorite kdramas!

Innocent Man

 

 

This is my all time favorite drama. It has the OST, the plot, and SONG JOONG KI. Seriously, the cast was flawless, Song Joong Ki's performance was one of the most amazing things I have ever seen. Watch this if you haven't, it's a masterpiece.

It's Okay, That's Love

   

 (LOL Both so dismal)

This is drama hit me right in the heart. I think it was one of the most influencial dramas I have ever seen. I loved it, and I will always love it. The chemistry was amazing, the plot was beautiful. I miss this drama so much. T-T

I Hear Your Voice

 

This was my first kdrama and still one of my absolute favorites. Lee Jong Suk is one of my favorite actors. I always get warm fuzzy feelings from this drama.

Healer

My absolute favorite action drama. All of the action moments were totally daebak and all of the romance moments were super cute.

Oh My Ghost

My favorite food drama! Each episode left me hungry and happy. Plus I found the power of a hug is just as cute as a kiss.

Heartstrings

My first, and favorite, music drama. There have been many good ones out there, but Heartstrings will always have a place in my heart. This is also the first drama I saw Park Shin Hye in! 

 

Cheese In The Trap

A college romance drama about two people who don't quite understand each other falling in love. All the characters have been amazing, the actors were superb, and the ambiance a piece of perfection. This is the kind of drama that I live for. (A lot of people are grumbling about the ending, but that doesn't mean the rest of this drama isn't pure korean drama gold)

Boss and Me

 Boss and Me is the ultimate fluffy romance. The plot is smooth and ever developing, but nothing too tragic ever afflicts our lovey-dovey main leads. They are both adorable and warm hearted. So far it is my favorite  Chinese drama :)

Love Me If You Dare

 On the complete opposite side of the genre spectrum, this crime/thriller Chinese drama was intense spiral of emotion. It is easily one of my favorite crime shows (probably only second to Sherlock). It was fun, exciting, and the romance kept it sweet and heart warming.

Ouroboros

This drama was the closest I have ever pulled to a all-nighter drama binge. Completing all 11 episodes in one night was one of the most thrilling, intense, and exciting experiences of my dramaful life. I thoroughly enjoyed this and plan and watching it again soon! (With a bit more care and patience this time~)

The Beauty Inside

By far my favorite Korean movie, The Beauty Inside was thought provoking, warm hearted, and had the perfect amount of emotional twinges. Add an inspiring cast with the impossibly beautiful Han Hyo Joo, and this movie became the masterpiece that it is. 

 

My P.S. Partner

This movie overall made me happy and optimistic. It is never too late, so whatever it is your holding back from doing... try it! I generally do not enjoy comedies, but this one was a unique exception to my rule. An enjoyable movie, for those who are less sensitive to adult content ;)

My one and only Second Lead Syndrome

I have never had second lead syndrome before. But in School 2015, Blondie should have gotten the girl!!!!!  So here is a little bit of Sungjae bliss to make up for it!

 

 

Thankfully Sungjae found a wife on We Got Married! They were my favorite couple :3
