Work
I started out managing 30 people at a large Law Firm. I moved on to coordinating IPO's for one of the main brokerage houses and assisting 5 brokers on the main trading floor. I then made a career change to working for the top 2 C-level executives in a couple of Silicon Valley technology startups that were planning public offerings. Finally, deciding that I didn't want to work as hard- or as many long hours- as I've worked in the past for someone else's benefit, I moved to work for myself and put my brokerage experience to work managing my own accounts, which allows me to work from home. Working in this mostly male-dominated business where women historically have not taken on this type of risk/reward is satisfying. I hope that more women train in this industry for an easier work / life balance.
Hobbies
Traveling, jet skiing, swimming and e-biking.
Streaming
I enjoy action-oriented series. I mostly watch Wuxia / Xianxia / Sageuk, a few well done Republican Era and Tomb Raider series, as well as Sci Fi.
