Boring, dry, forgettable, skippable

I dropped the end on this one cause there was bearly any romance, the couple is a bit dry and boring and the wrap up was just uninspired. The ml has different standards for how he can interact with someone who likes him and how his love interest should. I understand jealousy but he has a whole other woman living in his house and is upset at her giving her friend some notes. That left a bad taste in my mouth, cause it was never discussed and she was explaining herself to him when I don’t think she really did anything. I held on much longer than I should have because I was hoping it would pick up. Suddenly I found myself giving up on the beach scene, that was my last straw. I suppose there are some cute moments here and there but honestly I took weeks to watch this cause it’s so very forgettable, it kept getting lost in my rotation.


what I love is that there’s no crazy scheming or overbearing parent drama, well not of the normal variety, her mom is … interesting. Also it was pretty cool that 2fl packed it up and moved on. I really didn’t expect that. In fact I’ve never seen that in a cdrama and I was fully expecting her old flame to get her back somehow. I can’t think of a single drama where the woman said bye and stood on it. Shocked and in awe. It was a nice change of pace.

what I don’t like him moving another woman into his house for a flimsy reason, the dry interactions between the mains, the wordless beach proposal and her thanking him for saying nothing and just putting on their ring. To each their own, I like a bit of communication.

Overall, very skipable, very forgettable (I’ve already forgotten the beginning tbh). I can’t imagine this is the same fl from hidden love.

Random disgusting plot twist

I liked it until about episode 15/16 where we see a flashback of the fl passed out and about to be raped, her “ best friend” sees , takes a picture and leaves. no trying to stop it, no calling for help, all because the man was someone she liked. That is a bit too much of a plot twist, misunderstanding for what I thought was a light drama. I don’t normally watch such aggressive story lines anymore and that gave me a nightmare about being stabbed. I might finish the whole series just to see some justice done, but it’s feeling like a drop cause I don’t know if it’s worth it, knowing the next 6 episodes are supposed to be a roller coaster. But the plot twist really made no sense because the person who drugged her was someone she already had a crush on, obviously drugging someone is never necessary but I really don’t get where they were going with that. The best friend and the drugger stayed in her life and lied to her face every day for the next 4 years where the present day drama unfolds. The best friend stays in love with the drugger and degrades herself when she finally gets to be in a real relationship with him and the guy well as you expect continues to like and do shady things.

boring, slow, giant plot holes

I really wanted to give this drama just because it didn’t have some of the more annoying troupes from the beginning. But the whole thing is just really boring really slow. I really don’t even see any point in watching this. While it skips many annoying elements that you might find the other shows there’s not really much to be seen here. I mean one redeeming thing is that the sfl I guess, who is interested in the lead is gone by episode 11. She leaves on her own after being, only mildly problematic. I was trying to give dramas with no scheming a chance but there’s really no point in continuing this.

This is for you if you like bullying and dry plot lines

No idea why this is tagged romance but you will enjoy it if you like bulling, dragged out story lines, strong fl who does not lean on her friends or mother, no romance between leads, funny mother in law who just wants the kids to get along, desperate, jealous girls who run after men who are clearly not interested in them, four love interests for the fl, best friend who is overlooked…. gosh I hope I didn’t forget anything. Not to say it is a bad show, I’m just into feel good shows with loving friendships sprinkled in. Even the occasional toxic relationship with character development is okay.

skip the end

I was pretty much liking it until episode 23 when the fl ran face first into danger, made me gag. if you don’t mind someone making a series of ridiculous decisions last minute then you’ll probably enjoy this. The rest of the story wasn’t bad and even though some of the twists were a little ridiculous, not a bad watch till the end for me. I haven’t watched many thriller romance but I’ve seen flower of evil and this can’t compare to that but I like it anyway. The fl is a bit weak but I think that is on purpose to make ml stronger and put her in danger so he can save her

Like nothing I have watch so far in Cdramas

I’m excited about this one. it seems to have a fleshed out story with a bit of mystery. A few unanswered questions right from the beginning and a few twists. So far it’s got the balance I like in a good mystery to keep you coming back but not so many unanswered questions that I loose interest. Let’s se where this goes. Until now I have only watched dramas full of cliches and minimal plot. While they can be entertaining they do have their shortcomings long term. This one is making me think about looking for other romance dramas that mix in other genres to up the entertainment value.
