As it says in the headline, the only flaw is how freaking long it takes for the story to finally start. Honeslty i could go into a pretty vicious rant about how i hate the type of drama where the intro spoils shit that happens 3/4 into the drama!!! But i know that that is a lot of them so i wont bring this up here.
There are way too many ideas for the first few (quite a lot) episodes and essentially nothing happens for quite a while. I think that the first episode i genuinely enjoyed after episode was in the late teens!!! So for those going into this just prepare yourself, this makes those 60 episode wuxia slow burn romances look like they are moving at the speed of light.
Now that being said, i just adore the look and vibe of this drama and also the entire cast. That is what helped me push threw the first bunch of episodes but once this show got going it instantly became top 3 fav cdrama for me. The show just became perfect in many ways and i just felt like it was a completely different show with the same characters
I understand some people having a problem with the FL but i absolutely loved her for what she was. She is basically a woman who has been helped every step of the way for basically her whole life and had never really faced any real hardship, especially when it comes to her career since she had a top exec simping for her and protecting her. This may not be what some people like but this woman has been loved and protected her whole life so her acting the way she does is only natural. Contrast that with the best friend and you'll see what i mean
I am recommending this to all of you once you've gone through your whole watchlist because this is one where you shouldnt watch it if youre in a rush, but i promise you, it is worth it
