I became an Asian drama lover during the pandemic last March and I haven't looked back since. During this period I have watched a lot of dramas and in 2021 I started reading Chinese translated novels. 

I really fell in love with Asian dramas Korean, Chinese and Japanese dramas mainly because of the community. When I say community I mean the interaction and coming together of different people from all over to enjoy these dramas.

 This type of interaction was especially special because I usually read books and watch dramas but could not find a forum to have discussions. I'm a reader, I love books; I still do. 

I think my first Asian drama I watched was on Netflix.  It was a Taiwanese drama called 'Someone Like You' starring Kingone Wang and Lorene Ren. I absoutely loved it and still do.  I watched everything that I could find on Netflix and then I can't even remember why I thought to check YouTube but I found my drams there and I was hooked. Too particular dramas that hooked me on Netflix was The Kings Avator and The Prince of Tennis. 

 I'd just randomly found some dramas on YouTube and started to watch them. Some were nicer than others.  This year I found this website and everything just went from there. 

So what I'm trying to say is that although I still watch Hollywood shows and TV series; because they are some that I really love. It was such an amazing experience to find the Asian entertainment industry. 

 Plus I was a old hand at watching shows with subtitles, because I used to watch Indian series. So reading subtitles was a no-brainer.
