I enjoyed it way too much

I'm a little late to the party, (I came here for Captain) left in love with the story.
It's weird how much I liked this series. I'm usually very picky and critical, and I had low expectations going in.
I get why people will love it and why people won't like it.
I guess one of the main reasons I really like it is because it was happy and light in a way it helped with what's going on in the world and my personal life.
I didn't expect some events that occurred and I actually am satisfied with the ending (there are many times where I've been let down in endings).
I'm a big fan od storylines where there are challenges and teamwork but at the same time competition, friendships and in the end everyone likes everyone ( a bit unrealistic) but that's kind of what I look for to escape how harsh life is and how we sometimes have to compete with our closest friends. (That's deep sorry about that.) I am a fan of this kind of storyline and the growth that characters get as the show progresses. This is mainly why my rating is so high I guess.
From my point of view (and I could be wrong) they did pretty well with the whole love being a girl/boy and how it went with Tangmo (unlike others).
Gender doesn't matter and this show portrayed that well enough.
