This is a whodunit mystery - set in pre / during and post Japanese war time lines. It follows a series of events involving the main characters. The story is viewed from different perspectives and different times sometimes blending past and present as perspectives change.

It is not a gangsters movie, nor a war movie. Is a movie that deals with the dark side of the time periods, and the dark side of the people living in them. A movie where there are no good guys vs bad guys per se, however a battle does rage through the movie.
