Hopefully we get a part 2!!
I finished the show and I had to read reviews and shit because I was super confuse for a minute. Now, the cast was marvelous everybody understood their job and fulfilled it excellent. However, as always I needed more. The story had my questioning wether this was a romantic BL or if the protagonist are really in an sentimental relationship like whats up. Despite that I like the story. It was not rushed I think some scenarios were unnecessary but, I understand the portrayal. Like Sheng its only 17 so we definitely have a long way to go. On the other hand, what concerns me is the fact that we dont have a season 2 confirm lol. Definitely this series is a slow rollercoaster ride but I like it bc you grow with them to the point of even navigating and overcoming your own traumas. I really hope we get part 2 or more episode with them as adult and not just for the main couple if they make it to couple land. But also Pepper and Gao like I need to see that couple. In addition to Qi Jiahao issues there is still so much to see. So I will keep my hopes for the series.Questa recensione ti è stata utile?

It was the turn of events for me!
When I started watching the show, I wasn’t particularly excited. By episode 3, I even thought, Did we really wait almost three years for this? But then things began to come together. Episodes 5 and 6 were fantastic they had me glued to my screen!I haven’t read the webtoon, so for those who have, let me know if the adaptation is at least 85% accurate. I appreciated the way the show explores multiple characters rather than focusing solely on Jung Jin-Su. I had my suspicions about him since season 1,he was up to no good. Both actors portraying Jung Jin-Su did an incredible job. I've seen Kim Sung-Cheol in other roles, and he consistently impresses. You Ah-In is also an outstanding actor, and I’ll be eagerly awaiting his return as a better healthy individual.
I love shows that offer lessons. Without giving away spoilers, I’ll just say this: God and life do give second chances. Never lose hope in humanity, and always stay true to yourself.

Despite the movie having an A list of actors, the movie did not meet expectations. For instance, in the beginning, I thought oh yeah this is a slow burner but the storyline never really developed into anything. Like I still don't know who killed Lim. lol, However, the actors as always delivered their portrayal to perfection. Also, the music was lit; their soundtrack was beautiful and entertaining for my ears. Questa recensione ti è stata utile?

Bittersweet! But 10/10
I didn’t realize we had to wait two years for season 2, and even though the wait was long, it was totally worth it! I was left with questions and wanting more, which honestly isn’t a bad thing.Let me just say, brace yourselves—episode 2 broke me! I was crying like a baby. The cast, as always, was top-notch; everyone understood the assignment. Even the young actors, like young Mozazo, had me laughing all the time. And Mr. Kim (Kim Sung Kyu)—oh my gosh, he is incredible! His eyes alone convey so much anguish, love, pain—everything.
The way the storyline weaves between the past and present was done so magnificently that it’s impossible to get lost or confused. However, I will admit, Solomon’s plan and his entourage had me a bit confused at times.
Throughout the show, no one pissed me off more than Gyeong Hui. Like, sis, LIVE YOUR LIFE, LOVE WHO YOU WANT TO LOVE. But I understand her character was a reflection of how many women from that era depended on their husbands’ permission for everything—even to get groceries. I think that’s one reason she never followed her love for Mr. Kim. His love could’ve been her liberation, but she couldn’t take that step.
Now, please don’t hate me for this, but Ko Han Su really came through in the end. I don’t condone his behavior toward Sunja, but I think he’s already paid for his sins, at least when it comes to his wrongdoings toward her. Bringing her mother was such a big moment. To me, it was like saying, “I know you didn’t want to leave your homeland, and I know it broke you to leave your mother—but you had to, because of me. So, I’m going to find her and bring her to you.”
I really hope Lee Min Jin and Soo Hugh continue working together because wow!

Get a piña colada to watch this.
The series was honestly long overdue for me to watch, but I kept avoiding it because of the "alleged trauma" it brings—I never wanted to start! The first thing that caught my attention was that they used different actors to portray the characters as children, which helped emphasize the growth of the characters. Teh and Oh-aew are a realistic portrayal of the teenage experience. Episode 3 was such a beautiful journey of self-discovery mixed with trauma. Oh-aew is my hero. I feel like he already knew that his feelings for Bas were just fleeting lust. He was so honest and brave about his emotions; he didn’t express these feelings openly, but he knew they weren't as deep as what he felt for Teh.I tried not to be too frustrated with Teh, because I felt he was the one struggling the most with understanding and accepting his sexuality. But he was definitely playing too much with both Oh-aew’s and Tarn’s feelings. Despite this, both characters were relatable, and the actors did an extraordinary job. However, I have to say they both cry in a way that isn’t exactly pretty!

Please dont skip this BL!
I was really excited for this drop, and despite it having only 8 episodes, it did not disappoint. The storyline is truly compelling, complex yet relatable and the main leads have amazing chemistry. The entire cast is a visual delight.I’ll admit, Episode 7 left me a bit confused. It feels like the show leaves certain elements up to the viewer to interpret, particularly regarding the characters' past issues. For example, why does Ju Yeong put on and take off his cross necklace? Or what happend to his mom?
Do Hoe frustrated me at times, especially with how harsh he was to Ju Yeong. However, once he admitted his flaws and opened up about what truly scares him, I started seeing him differently. The show does a great job portraying family love, friendship, and the challenges adults face. There’s an easy flow to the series, balanced with plenty of humor, mostly thanks to Ju Yeong. His character is so bubbly and lovable that you can’t help but giggle when he’s on screen.
On the other hand, Hyeon Ho (aka “Mr. Walden”) has this “I hurt you because I like you” attitude that’s an absolutely no for me. However, that one call (no spoilers!) really showed how much Do Hoe truly means to him; despite everything, they are best friends, and Do Hoe knows it too.
Overall, I really enjoyed the series but wish they had included a few more details. For instance, Ju Yeong’s religious backstory could have been a major element, but the show focused so heavily on Do Hoe’s issues and traumas that Ju Yeong’s story felt a bit overlooked. But, again it's a really good series.

Good cinematography
I went into the movie without any expectations and without knowing much about it. I hadn’t even watched the trailer. All I knew was that it’s a Netflix movie from South Korea, and the cast is strong. While watching, I did skip through a few parts—some scenes felt a bit repetitive, and the fight sequences ran a bit long. As the story unfolded, I realized it was structured almost like chapters in a book, focusing on themes like war, revolt, chaos, and ultimately, uprising. That aspect was pretty cool.
That said, I have to admit that the story itself wasn’t particularly striking. It felt more like a series of events leading up to the uprising rather than a gripping narrative. Still, I understood the message of brotherhood, and Yi Jong Ryeo’s final words were beautiful and moving.
Overall, I wouldn’t say it was a bad movie, but it wasn’t exactly my cup of tea.

Sweet but not all that
I am not going the lie that the story line lacks. However, all the actors did a really good job portraying their characters even the friend that only complained and gets bully by Nam Jun. I think the bl or love component of the show gets lost in Yu Na life story way too much. I dont know if something got lost on the writer part but, the series really tries to show Ji woo journey to exploration of love and self-discovery ultimately realizing who he really loves. I still dont know if the story has a secondary couple since they failed to show that. For instance, if the second couple is the professor and Hye Won or is it Nam Jun and Min Jae. The show is most definitely not a master piece but Its a sweet pill to swallow.Questa recensione ti è stata utile?

Dont know why I waited to watch!!
Slow delight to watch. Beginning of the series they had me rolling with laugher. The actors had a beautiful chemistry. Their first kiss was playful yet intimate; almost remind the watcher of their first love. Please I urge not to skip this series. I will admit I would have love if they gave more depth and back story into Da Un family story. Also, Si won friends are truly the best besties lol.Questa recensione ti è stata utile?

?????
I enjoy watching the show; it was nice seeing some of the season 1 actors. The action scene were also good some of them a bit too long but is ok. NOW, I dont about you but I have more questions then answers so if we get another season I will be watching. I think we might since the really left the ending as an opening scene. Lots of variables that are still loose and unanswered.Questa recensione ti è stata utile?

P-I-S-S-E-D!
I am fuming! I get it I know is the prequel but they could have gave us a bit more. The actors have an amazing chemistry ; they are both very very talented. I still feel they could have expand the story a bit more. Like we all know the reason he left Ho Tae was due to the respect and love he had for his auntie yet we only saw them talk about it briefly in one episode.Questa recensione ti è stata utile?
Good series
I think to watch this series you require a higher IQ then mine lol. The last 3 or 4 episode was some trippy shit; they got me super confuse. However, the actors performances was IMMACULATE. Tonkla really needs a psych eval and Korn needed to aligned his priorities better. Furthermore, the cinematography was beautiful. The venues in which they recorded the colors ugh that was a visual delight.Questa recensione ti è stata utile?
Very Demure!
I just finish the series and I am please. I have not read the manga but, from what I hear they matched everything to the T.I'll admit this is not a serie that I would rewatch at least not right now. I felt like some aspects were rushed and some of the characters lack story time. However, the actors were amazing. No doubt in their talent.
