Extraordinary You !!!!
I love fantasy/romantic dramas and indeed I have seen a lot of them, according to the content of the drama I thought I would watch something like the drama w two worlds with the actor Lee Jong Suk, which was great, arranged chronologically and easy to understand the plot and the gradually developing scenarios, in this drama Extraordinary You I read conflicting reviews and stood out whether to see it, the decision to see it in the end was also because of the excellent cast like ro woon and... Lee Jee Wook and also because of curiosity, the drama turned out to be one big disappointment, that even at a certain point I wanted to stop watching it but I still gave it a chance and together with I already wanted you to get to the end.The talented cast has to say, did a good job and amazing acting, they managed to convey their turbulent emotions in a professional manner. My problem was in the confused content, and very unclear, the plot line is so messed up that I felt like I was losing myself, there were many chapters where I felt that the plot was not progressing anywhere, and the chapters felt unnecessary, there were many open questions left at the end of the plot, even though the drama apparently ends with a happy ending, There are still unanswered questions, like How did this manga world happen? Who is the writer? Why were two comics written and if the writer (the unknown) wanted to change the historical plot why did he repeat the same story ? How did Kyung's brother become self-aware and what is his role? Will all the characters be stuck in this loophole forever? What is the strange portal? Why is the comic book stored in a library where everyone can easily find it?

my review
I am addicted to Korean dramas/movies, whether they are romantic/action/fantasy/history.Usually I just rate them but don't write a comment, this time I feel the need to write that even though it is a fantasy, this drama managed to activate the whole range of emotions in me, the drama is made in a sophisticated way, the music is great, and the actors are talented... so many messages about the value of life . I enjoyed every episode that brought a new story about the challenges we encounter in life.
The drama is worth watching both because of the content and because of the actors and the music

An exciting series that touched every fiber of my soul, but at the same time so that you know what awaits you, I must mention that there is a lot of silence, deep sighs, serious faces and everything is so slow. Still, what is there in this series that despite all these I really liked and was able to watch without skipping ahead? More than that, I couldn't stop watching... sorrow, betrayal, revenge, friendship, loyalty alongside compassion and forgiveness, family and love, a great and touching soundtrack and one happy smile. I recommend watching with a lot of patienceQuesta recensione ti è stata utile?

What a great and heartwarming drama♥
What a great and heartwarming drama, great casting by the entire cast, I enjoyed watching it.A drama that has support and comfort, love and friendship, dreams and concessions and aspirations, simple stories of everyday life both in the world of glamor and in life in general.
Great soundtrack and spectacular views of the island.
And ji chang Wook who melts hearts with his looks in his eyes., great chemistry between the entire cast during the filming and in the plot. Recommended and heartwarming drama.

Realistic drama for me!!
The truth is, I don't know where to start. I put off watching the series for almost a year (a priority from the endless list). Since I finished a sad series, I was looking for something funny and romantic. So I went for it, and I got a punch in the Stomach . The series is very far from being a comedy. It does have some comical situations, as befits Korean series, but it is far from being a comedy. Even based on the content, I didn't know I was going to watch something that would personally open a scar of almost two decades. As far as I was concerned, the drama was completely realistic. The plot is not foreign to me, it is exactly the reality that I had (although I didn't give up on my career), but the rest of the plot (betrayal, a double family, the desire to keep my cool, the desire not to hurt children, to keep my cool in the workplace (when you all work together), to know last about things that everyone knows - there is a saying that "the woman knows last" - and unfortunately, it is so true) gave me A punch to the Stomach , even the dialogues between the characters were not foreign to me.. I cried, not laughed, in the few comments I read, there are comments that criticize the behavior of the woman - (the legal wife) in my opinion she was very strong and smart, and some criticize the end of the series, the end is completely realistic and expected..The soundtrack was wonderful as well as the casting of all the characters. And one more thing - apparently saying that she was funny is a function of age and experience.
Rewatching, I will not watch the series again - not because it is not good, but because it hurt me and touched on my personal sensitive points.

Wasted potential
I waited a long time for this drama, it was on my waiting list until all the episodes came out, the plot concept is very promising (it is not fictional at all that there will be a village/community that still lives according to the ancient tradition, it exists in the United States (Philadelphia) in the "Hamish" community, a closed community, (New and advanced world vs old world), theft of historical treasures, love story, ambitions and people's struggle to achieve ambitions, and above all I admit that I love ML Kim Myung Soo, but... (big but) something didn't flow, although the characters are developing Throughout the plot as expected from a quality drama, but at the same time it must be noted that there was no chemistry between the leads (it's a shame to waste potential and maybe because the main actress is married?? Who knows?).The episodes continued without justification and the criminal could easily be identified (no continuity of tension or plot was maintained) the acting of the entire cast was also very childish, including the adult characters, (low level acting). All in all, I was quite disappointed with the drama and the lack of utilization of the potential of the actors as well as the plot.
The soundtrack was quite good and pleasant to the ear
I can't recommend or not and there might be an audience that would enjoy watching it.
I enjoyed it but there was a point where I wanted the drama to end already.

Good drama but...
This could have been a perfect drama if it weren't for some unnecessary characters, (the mother and the sister in the family), their two characters were so rude and noisy, that they really made it difficult to watch. The drama contained everything expected from a quality drama, a tense plot, touching stories about the abandonment of children and especially the story of the chaebol family who live in a cage of gold (not for nothing throughout the series, there is a beautiful peacock who lives in a cage, and even he chooses to escape). In fact, it is about three generations of the Chaebol family (and you can see the difference between the founding generations and the younger generation, a family where this time there are strong women, (powerful), with their own opinion and thinking, this is a drama of female empowerment, sexual identity, and the difficulty in disclosing sexual identity In a conservative society, and of course breaking the conventions of both the women and the younger generation.Throughout the series, a level of tension is maintained in the plot, although I would shorten it in several episodes.
I must mention the amazing collection of clothes.
As for the soundtrack, it didn't leave me any special memory.
I recommend the series to those who can tolerate and neutralize the vulgar and loud rudeness of the characters I mentioned.

I really enjoyed the drama
I really enjoyed the drama, and I don't understand why its rating is so low. The apparent drama begins and is defined as a comedic drama, although it has comedic parts but at the same time it has messages on so many topics such as dealing with breast cancer, self-esteem, fulfilling dreams, emotional abuse, the cost of living, fraud, escaping from reality through excessive drinking, Choosing between family and coolness. And how much love and honesty can heal the soul.Great chemistry between the leads and perfect casting of the other actors, a great soundtrack, definitely a recommended drama
For me, her rating is 10/10

A drama that is a must
I put off watching the wonderful drama for so long (following the great drama, Empress Ki, starring Ji Chang Wook that made me cry for many days) The Red Sleeve is the kind of drama that should not be missed mainly because it is based on real historical events. (It is impossible to escape from the tragic reality of that time) A drama with perfect casting, (the wonderful Lee Joon-Ho and Se Jung who conveyed in such a realistic way a range of emotions), superb acting. It's no surprise that the drama won so many awards. Personally, I recommend reading and watching historical dramas related to Prince Yi San to understand the mindset of the Red Sleeve.Questa recensione ti è stata utile?
love this drama♥
I really liked the drama, let's start with the perfect casting of the cast, it seems that Park Hyung sik just played his real life (you can see in fan meetings and interviews that this is his mindset) seriousness and maturity alongside childishness (they say that in every mature person, there is also a little child). The drama deals with healing and recovery, competition for achievements and success alongside failure and disappointment. friendship, and support. Insights that you get after crises (financial and mental), satisfaction in the face of fulfillment... a race for achievements in life where along the way you forget to enjoy the small things (sunset, going for a walk, enjoying nature from the blossoms and even eating ice cream) and the mental price that you pay because of the race for life. It is true that there are some childish scenes (not compatible with the model of a doctor) but they fit so well against the very sensitive subject of mental exhaustion and depression. I totally recommend watching the drama and examining it in depth and not superficiallyQuesta recensione ti è stata utile?
great and heartwarming drama♥
Although this great drama is old (2016) but at the same time it can be said that it is suitable for any time.A drama with a perfect cast of actors, and great acting. She has everything. Romance, a bit of fantasy, although the fantasy in the drama is on the limit of what is possible, a kind of sixth sense), it has comedy, it has the support of a family in the face of family pecking, it has a charming and touching soundtrack (worthy of a playlist), it has healing and recovery, a recommended drama , it was not without reason that it received poor ratings, and the actors won awards for their performance.
And you also learn a thing or two from her, such as how to edit sound behind each movie/series, and how the actors used to look so natural without a huge amount of make-up (something that impressed me the most).
Recommended and heartwarming drama, it is impossible not to rate it 10/10

i love this drama
A great drama, funny, witty, but at the same time it has a degree of seriousness (it's about a marriage of convenience, revenge, murder, and control). The historical/modern production reminds a bit of a reality show (a break between the scenes and the actors looking directly at the camera, something more like a drama, "Lovestruck in the City"). A plot that has female empowerment, love, friendship, strict rules that were accepted at that time and you can say unconditional love. The characters develop gradually. Especially the character of Shim Jung Woo who plays rowoom in a wonderful way, rowoon succeeds with his wonderful acting and his facial expressions (mimicry) to transfer the character in a wonderful way, (from a person who reluctantly submits to strict rules to a sensitive, loving and uncompromising person) as well as Cho Yi Hyun who plays Jung Sun Deok and the rest of the actors who did a wonderful job...a drama that I personally recommend.Questa recensione ti è stata utile?

one of the more sensitive dramas
Of the hundreds of dramas I've seen (full disclosure - I'm addicted to Korean dramas of all types, action, historical, romance, political, comedy, etc.), this is a quality drama that is wonderfully constructed, it's one of the more sensitive dramas I've seen, it activates a wide spectrum of emotional feelings, there is a saying who says "There is no love in the world like a mother's love" and this, in my opinion, is the essence of the drama along with the question of what parenting/friendship/forgiveness is, a cast of talented actors...a drama that is definitely worth watching ..warning..you need to equip yourself with a tissue..

one of the best historical kdramas
In my watch list, I have over 400 kdramas, of which at least 100 are historical, (with plots ranging from fantasy love stories to reality-based hysterics) This drama is one of the best historical kdramas I've watched (including Empress Ki being one of them) Amazing screen acting / perfect casting The actors did an amazing job especially the female lead. Jeon Jong Seo and Ji Chang Wook I knew he would never disappoint. I think everyone who complains about nudity scenes are people who are simply not used to this genre. Because this is far from your average historical kdrama. What was special about the drama was that it was historically based. The production was accompanied by a historian who made sure that the details were accurate, including amazing costumes. The production was so invested on an international level. I'm not sure why they made such a big deal out of the "sex" scenes (historically, that was the case). And that was also a tactic intended for the queen. The drama was accurate in terms of the number of episodes as well as its ending. The queen, who was historically strong, managed to keep the throne for a short period of time. It's true that there is violence in the drama, but it was also historically correct (the historical period was very cruel, that's a fact). In my opinion, a drama that deserves all the praise, for the casting, the soundtrack, the set... and of course Ji Chang Wook, who did not disappoint with a phenomenal performance.Questa recensione ti è stata utile?
Disappointment - plot and important issues but...
This drama had all the potential to be a high rated drama
The plot was great, it had topical and so important topics such as:
Infertility in men and women, postpartum depression, sacrifice, abandonment, employment problems, society's judgment of single parents (men and women), endometriosis and the consequences, the longing for children, a sharp criticism of the law forbidding sperm donation to single women or same-sex couples (which in many countries of the world no longer exists), healthy and open relations between mother and daughter.
The first episodes were great and promising, but... the plot lost its charm, and became exhausting, with irrelevant and childish background stories, (the one-sided love story in the office) the chemistry between the main characters was annoying to say the least, (passive aggressive) lovers break up and get back together again and again Breaking up..so disappointing, they are 40 years old and behave like children.
I don't regret seeing the drama because of its important themes, but at the same time towards the end I already wanted it to end, I would shorten the episodes and remove all the irrelevant clichés.
