Favorite Dramas (temp)
This is a temporarily list of my favorite dramas. Once I sort them out by genre and country this list will be deleted. Also, they're not ranked in any specific order I chose the ones that left a deep impact on me and life.

1. Hello Monster
Korean Drama - 2015, 16 episodes
- The positive
Interesting cases.
Has a intriguing anti-villain.
Are monsters made and or born? (I liked that we get a little bit of both).
Loved that the drama was not afraid of going to a grey - area.
Most of the characters were in the grey - area (moral), few of them were truly good.
- The Negative
The romance felt awkward between the main leads.
The female lead is hard to like and can come across as "manipulative" (she just did her job so I can't fault her for that. However, it just irks me how she handled things on certain situations)

2. Queen for Seven Days
Korean Drama - 2017, 20 episodes
- The positive
A tragic villain (talking about the king).
Beautiful ost (my opinion)
The main leads have a believable chemistry.
Loved the main female character and her relationship with the king, her family and of course her romance with the prince.
I liked the father-son relationship the king had with Chae Gyung' father. (they have few scenes but it is clear how much they care for each other),
Though I have to say when the three main actors had scenes together, it was just wow.
I loved that you can understand all of the characters actions and why they do the things they do.
- The Negative
You might feel that the "secret" that most of the characters are searching for boring and feel disbelief on how much time they try to invest on it. Though this was a time people believed in superstitions.... so 50/50?
The plot is not the strongest, and the talk about rebellion and dethrone the king can feel boring, Thankfully there isn't much of it.
The humor will not be for everyone ( granted at times I did laugh).
It has sometimes a tone-shift problem. ( first episode).
Both good and bad side characters might feel one - dimensional.

3. Prison Playbook
Korean Drama - 2017, 16 episodes
-
4. Marriage Contract
Korean Drama - 2016, 16 episodes
-
5. Chief Kim
Korean Drama - 2017, 20 episodes
- The positive
It is a simple story that has heartwarming moments with co-workers that in the end they felt like a family.
The main hero and main heroine have a platonic relationship. (rare in that case with k-dramas).
Entertaining banter between the main hero and his frienemy,
- The negative
The drama uses the main hero abilities whenever it is convenient for them.
Humor is not for everyone ( some of the scenes had slapsticks that ran way too long)
The female lead doesn't get a significant arc (wished she had more things to do.)
