Sort By: Author's Order
-
Shin Min Ah
Corea del Sud
dramas
- chief of staff (2019)
- tomorrow with you (2017)
- oh my venus (2015)
- my girlfriend is a gumiho (2010)
thoughts
- been following her for so long - found her adorable + delightful in my girlfriend is a gumiho! her cheeks and her voice (something about actors' voices that will always pull me in!) were so cute
- loved seeing her grow over the years; she's one of the few actors whose work i will always try watching because i just find her so damn charming
-
Han Ji Min
Corea del Sud
dramas
- one spring night (2019)
- familiar wife (2018)
thoughts
- thank you so very much one spring night for showing me the brilliant gem that is han ji min. after watching the first episode of one spring night, my interest in her was piqued and i immediately went to watch familiar wife. she is clearly super thoughtful in choosing her roles and is going for characters with emotional depth
- there's no doubt that she's one of the best actresses these days. she really immerses herself in the character and isn't afraid to show their "ugly" (real) sides
- love her voice and that smile! also her very specific laugh (usually to kids)
-
Gong Hyo Jin
Corea del Sud
dramas
- when the camellia blooms (2019)
- jealousy incarnate (2016)
- it's okay, that's love (2014)
- the master's sun (2013)
- the greatest love (2011)
- pasta (2010)
thoughts
- i can't believe i've basically watched all of her drama filmography ?one of my all time faves, i sincerely believe gong hyo jin can do no wrong! her role selection is so wonderful and interesting. although sometimes i think her characters veer a little too much on the soft spoken, doormat type, gong hyo jin is able to infuse in them a will of steel that i greatly admire
- i think we were extraordinarily blessed in 2019 to have gotten her comeback in wtcb - i can't imagine her topping this role, but i also believe she will. because she's gong hyo jin ♥
-
Jung So Min
Corea del Sud
dramas
- because this is my first life (2017)
thoughts
- have only really seen her in one drama, but the strength of that drama is more than enough to have her be an immediate favorite. there's an innocence and vulnerability that jung so min exudes that's so unique to her
- the way she's maneuvering her career now is amazing - she seems to be really thoughtful in choosing her dramas now
- i really want to see the smile has left your eyes (2018) but i also don't want to be emotionally wrecked so...tis a dilemma.
-
Park Shin Hye
Corea del Sud
dramas
- doctors (2016)
- pinocchio (2014)
- flower boy next door (2013)
- you're beautiful (2009)
thoughts
- been following her career for a long time now! i can't remember what exactly drew me to her - i think mostly i just found her adorable in you're beautiful, and that accounts for a lot
- acting wise, she's really shown her growth in doctors, and pinocchio is probably the drama i love her the most in (as the former slowed down in the latter half of the show).
- i wish i could list memories of the alhambra as a notable work of hers too, but that drama did her so dirty. she deserved so much more to that role
-
Jeon Yeo Bin
Corea del Sud
dramas
- be melodramatic (2019)
thoughts
- only seen her in one drama but that's enough for this fandom to fully set sail. she brings this emotional anchor in all the scenes she's in, a charisma that i don't see often on the screen.
- really hoping to see her in more dramas in the future!
-
Lee Da Hee
Corea del Sud
dramas
- search: www (2019)
- i hear your voice (2013)
thoughts
- first drama with the beautiful lee da hee was in i hear your voice, but lee bo young and lee jong suk pretty much stole the show for me there, so i didn't notice her too much. however! toward the end of that drama, the storyline she had with her father was beautiful
- she surged with her role as cha hyeon in search: www, and wow, became a legit fan instantly. she's fierce and vulnerable, and oh so relatable. she's one of the first of female characters who portrays this toughness (sometimes viciousness, in the best way) while maintaining a clear thread of vulnerability.
- so freaking beautiful. her insta is gold https://www.instagram.com/dahee0315
-
Seo Hyun Jin
Corea del Sud
dramas
- temperature of love (2017)
- let's eat 2 (2015)
thoughts
- adored her in temperature of love, even if the drama made me kind of want to pull my hair out at times. there just seemed to be so much unnecessary drama (even though i know that's kind of a prerequisite in these noona romances)
- amazing in being the slightly off kilter character with a super relatable streak. can't wait to see her future projects
-
Kang Han Na
Corea del Sud
dramas
- designated survivor: 60 days (2019)
- familiar wife (2018)
thoughts
- admittedly i didn't like / care for her character at all in familiar wife, but her character han na kyung in ds:60d is a COMPLETELY different story. wow. she's so tough and determined, her moral compass remains true and she's OH SO SMART (sidebar: the women in ds:60d are the ones who are keeping the country freaking together)
- want to explore more of her backlog - specifically just between lovers
- also really like her insta account: https://www.instagram.com/k_hanna_
-
Lee Sung Kyung
Corea del Sud
dramas
- weightlifting fairy kim bok joo (2016)
- doctors (2016)
thoughts
- breakout role as the titular kim bok joo in weightlifting fairy kim bok joo - she was perfect as the slightly awkward, incredibly competent young adult kim bok joo. she balanced equal parts wacky, vulnerable, tough, and oh so sweet, and i just loved her so much in that drama
