Watchable but very underwhelming.

Really enjoyed this one! The storyline was well put together and all of the actors put in top performances, especially Chun Woo Hee and the late Kim Joo Hyuk. Well worth watching.

A pretty good watch. Sure, it doesn't make a lot of sense but it is enjoyable and well worth watching--particularly if you love black comedies.

+ I'm a big fan of Yoon Kye Sang, and he was fantastic in his role--dashing and very charming. I was entranced by his fine performance
+ Ha Ji Won and Jang Seung Jo are both very good in their roles
+ The rest of the cast is fantastic and very believable
+ The chemistry between Yoon Kye Sang and Ha Ji Won absolutely scorches--the two are absolutely magnetic together
+ It oozes quality, and the cinematography is incredible
+ The music fits beautifully
+ The pace is slow but never dull
+ Some astonishingly powerful and moving scenes

All in all, a great melodrama, the best I've seen in a long time.

Bland, predictable and utterly forgettable. 2/10 (only for Joo Won Suk's subplot)

+ The characters are very much rootable and well acted across the board
+ The dialogue flows beautifully and the story never fails to be so emotionally powerful
+ Some very beautiful and powerful moments

I had high expectations for this drama without really knowing much of what it was about, and it really didn't disappoint in any way. It was a great watch, incredibly well made, well directed, with excellent performances.

- Lee Kyu Hyung is very dull and wooden in his role, nowhere near enough presence for leading male material. Shame, as I've liked him before in other dramas, the finest example being Prison Playbook
- Nothing memorable about the rest of the cast
- Other than Yu Ri and Min Jung's friendship, the story didn't connect with me

Exceeded my expectations.

One of my most anticipated dramas of the year, and I wasn't let down! Can't wait for season 2.

Enjoyable enough, but it didn't quite hit the mark for me.

++ Lee Hak Joo's performance.❤️ I think it's fair to say Lee Hak Joo completely stole the show as Kang Tae Wan, he played the character with such charm and sincerity. His performance was nothing short of amazing

I wasn't expecting to enjoy this, but I did. Sure it isn't perfect, but it is good fun and definitely worth the watch.
