1. Eighteen Again
Korean Drama - 2020, 16 episodes
(Completed) This drama made my grin from head to toe. It was so heartwarming, perfect, hilarious and realistic! I loved the concept of "re-living" your life, and if you wee given a chance to relive your life at the age of 18 - what would you change? And, (ironic that I still haven't lived up to the age eighteen LOL), this show gave me a different perspective to life. It made me realize how many things we take for granted (especially our parents) and how important it is to cherish these moments we get to live! In the process of trying to accomplish one dream, you might lose another - but it's important to remember that life goes on, and there a multitude of opportunities awaiting in the future :) This drama also made me realize the importance & significance of a family and loved ones :)
As for the characters, they were astonishingly very well created & played by AMAZING cast. I probably teared up in every episode, and the delivery of the scene through the acting, dialogue, music, camera angles, was PERFECT. I loved the flashbacks in between the current plot, and I loved the semi-focus on the side characters too. I loved the comedic relief scenes, and I loved the heavy & emotional-angst scenes. I loved how everything ties together so perfectly in the end.
It was an amazing journey from start to finish, and I'm really glad I found this gem. I learned a lot of valuable life lessons (and maybe I'm too young to understand them now, but I really hope I'll be able to put them to use in the future!) I'm really going to miss this show so so much :( I'm really sad having to bid farewell, but, all good things come to an end eventually!
[also shout out to Lee Do Hyun for absolutely NAILING his role as Hong Dae Young in the past AND the present. His acting is SPECTACULAR! Also, I can't believe Hwang In Yeop was in here too; lmao I shouted "Han Seo Jun" as soon as I saw in on screen LOL]

2. Strong Woman Do Bong Soon
Korean Drama - 2017, 16 episodes
(Completed) HOW DID THEY MANAGE TO DO THAT. One second I'm deeply intrigued with the murder mystery, the next second I'm crying of laughter from the hilariousness, and the next second I'm punching my pillows from the sweetness. This was such a delight to watch!!!! I loved every minute of this show! It was filled with a very intriguing storyline, memorable characters and a romance that you'd neve want to miss.
[and LMAO good luck Min Hyuk with those twin girls; it's going to be a tough journey here on]No but seriously though, this was so amazing! I remember genuinely getting scared with the whole murder mystery storyline and equally engrossed in the romance. Props to make the plot flow together so nicely!!!
WHEN AM I GONNA GET MY MIN HYUK T_T The main couple are so freaking sweet I'm gonna cri. They're made for each other.
And when Min Hyuk said "I'm not goin anywhere" on the rooftop - I think I literally felt my heart explode. I need a man like that.

3. Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo
Korean Drama - 2016, 16 episodes
(Completed) Amazing! Loved everything about this!
I JUST REWATCHED THIS AND ARGH IT'S PERFECT.
IT'S LIKE THE K-DRAMA YOU CAN COME BACK TO, REWATCH IT A MILLLION TIMES AND STILL FEEL LIKE YOU'RE SEEING IT FOR THE FIRST TIME. It's one of the best written stories with the BEST FREAKING CHARACTERS. AAFGHERU so cuteeeee im gonna cri.
The last episode just makes me feel so much nostalgia...like I've seen these children grow up; I'm their mother LOL. I've witnessed their first love, their first heartreak, their first accomplishment ARGHH I'm gonna miss Bok Joo, Jeon Joon, her friends, her father & uncle, her coaches, Jeon Joon's friend, and all the characters in this storyyy ahhh
"Swag" as Bok Joo would call it <3

4. You Who Came from the Stars
Korean Drama - 2013, 21 episodes
(Completed) WAIT I FREAKING LOVED THIS. A love story between an alien and a badass actress? Sign me up.
THEIR CHEMISTRY WAS AMAZING; Probably one of the best I've ever seen. There was no awkward acting, the storyline was great, the concept was a banger, characters which were hilarious, and a love story that was unforgettable.
[I just want to point out that I need to see more female leads like her; badass and bold. I loved her character! Cheong Song Yi is so freaking iconic I don't' think I'll forget about her anytime soon. And Do Ming Joon kinda stole my heart. Anyways I'm waiting for a sequel with their 7 children T_T]
Overall, loved it!!! 10/10

6. A Business Proposal
Korean Drama - 2022, 12 episodes
(Completed) A breath of fresh air. This is what a Rom Com should be!! It was hilarious, engaging, loved the chemistry, the main & side couple and kept me waiting for the next episodes. Definitely one of my favourites.
-
7. In cerca di vendetta
Korean Drama - 2022, 12 episodes
This was so good?!?!
Once again, this was totally a show which goes out of my scope of usual rom-coms but I loved it. The suspense, character development, the muddy/surreal storyline, and honestly the pacing and storytelling was so well done!
I was engrossed onto every single episode and the way that the story unraveled itself from beginning to end was ingenious. Multiple characters and stories got entwined with one another, only to thicken and question the motives and plot.
I loved the whole theme of deceit vs. truth and it really made me reflect on my own lies, and how I'm a victim to painful truth or illusive truths on a daily basis (this sounds like English class haha)
But to be honest, I love the way the whole murder mystery was carried out...I was very interested to see how they would go about the Park Jaebum route of amnesia and as we got closer to the end, I started to suspect his character and involvement even more.
The real villian is Go Osung and I stand by that...
The chemistry between Ok Chan Mi & Ji Soo Heo was to die for, but I'm so glad that it wasn't romance centric; rather I really loved how in depth they got with their emotional scenes without making it entirely romantic. It felt real, raw, genuine, and made me appreciate their bond even more.
I love how the whole school collectively lied to save Ji Soo Heon <3 "When everyone tells a lie, it becomes the truth" - Detective lady
Overall, loved it, and it truly made me look forward to Wednesdays :)
-
8. True Beauty
Korean Drama - 2020, 16 episodes
(Completed) very very very enjoyable to watch. Hilarious, engaging, amazing characters. It went a lot better than how the WebToon is going right now. I loved looking forward to the episodes every Wednesday and Thursday. I'm gonna miss this <3

-
10. Reply 1988
Korean Drama - 2015, 20 episodes
(Completed) Oh my gosh this was perfect. I found myself empathizing, laughing and crying throughout the show. It's made me feel so many emotions and I don't think I'm ready to let go of the characters yet. Definitely worth a re-watch. I'm going to miss this so much oh my goddd

11. Romance is a Bonus Book
Korean Drama - 2019, 16 episodes
(Completed) Fluffy, wholesome and romantic. Amazing!!
-
12. Weak Hero
Korean Drama - 2022, 8 episodes
Okay...
This was definitely a very unconventional choice of show for me considering the fact that almost every single K-Drama that I'd seen up to this day were all predominantly romcoms.
And, I was so pleasantly surprised.
I loved it.
Shi Eun, Soo Ho and Beom Seok's friendship rejuvenated my heart, burned it, and an irreparably broke it. I loved the fact that the whole show was high school-centric and I think that is probably why it tugged at my heartstrings more; the relatability factor. I loved how their friendship evolved and came to be, and honestly my heart just really breaks for Soo Ho :( [he reminded me of a younger version of Park Seo Jun if I'm being completely honest] I loved the premise and storytelling, and although the story isn't overly complicated with plot twists and dramatic character arcs, it exudes a very strong message and I think that's more important than anything. Honestly, although I despised Beom Seok for doing what he did to Soo Ho, strangely enough, quoting Shi Eun's words "I understand [him]" and the loneliness and despair he must have faced as an anomaly and as both an "unwanted" friend and "unwanted" son who was asopted merely for the public image of his father. He had a very sad backstory. Of course that doesn't excuse what he did to Soo Ho, but all their characters have their own tragi flaws, and made it that much more impactful.
I really really loved this season but I heard from some of the WEBTOON readers that season 1 is supposed to be a prologue?! So that means that Shi Eun is going to only be more badass from now on? Sign me up.
Also I really loved Soo Ho's character so I really hope I get to see him next season!! (it's there on the cast list for season 2 so I'm crossing my fingers)

13. Adult Trainee
Korean Drama - 2021, 7 episodes
I only watched the second couple, BUT I LOVED IT!!!
their chemistry was so freaking good...they should have an entire series dedicated towards them. I'm pleasantly surprised how nice the storyline and plot was considering that it was given only a duration of 3 episodes to tell their story. It was relatable, cute, spicy, and depicted all of the confusing & coming of age stages of adolescence very nicely.
ALSO...KIM NA HO...he's so freaking hot.

14. Hotel del Luna
Korean Drama - 2019, 16 episodes
(Completed) I loved this so soo much!!! IU completely stole my heart as Jang Man Wol; holy crap she's such a good actress oh my gosh. She's definitely my favorite FL character I've seen in a k-drama thus far. I loved this show! The different ghost stories & how they died, and the whole moral of "letting go is harder than holding on". This was quite a tear-jerker but so hilarious, fun and so enjoyable to watch. I loved all the characters soo soo much!!! The whole hotel was like a family, and once it was time for them to enter their afterlife, I was definitely tearing up. I loved it <333

15. Our Beloved Summer
Korean Drama - 2021, 16 episodes
(Completed)
Interesting concept. Love the cast and their acting, and I'm biased toward the original WebToon from which this adaptation is based on. Although it is also, I'm a huge fan of the author's works, specifically "Spirit Fingers", hence have a soft spot for it.
I loved the beginning few episodes, but from episode 9 the plot if getting redundant and there isn't much progress in regards to the character's development.
Edit:
I'm so glad I picked it up again and finished it!! I loved the premise of the story surrounding the documentary, and I adored seeing the different stages of their lives; it was a realistic drama which depicted the lives of 2 very different individuals with different ideologies and priorities in their lives - and how they make their relationship work & how they love one another. My personal favorite character was Kim Ji-Ung (probably because of how relatable his unrequited crush was & the message that first love doesn't always work out. I loved how he got to experience being in camera instead of being the omniscient narrator....I loved that metaphor). Overall, great story and I'm definitely gonna miss the characters!!!
-
16. Squid Game
Korean Drama - 2021, 9 episodes

(Completed) Overall, this is amazing if you're looking for a light-hearted, romance cliche. It was actually really sweet, and this drama has some of the best kisses ;)
I lowkey watched this for Park Seojun's amazing acting!! But Park Min Young's was nice too...
Overall, it was a good story & a good plot & good characters
