My Favorite Dramas (In No Particular Order ;)

This was my first Korean drama and I really liked it! It was visually beautiful. Great story and casting. It was quite a ride! However it was up and down with my interest and didn't make much sense. I know the ratings weren't that great and they really drop the ball towards the end but it is more the meaning that it was my first Kdrama that makes it on my list.

This was one of my favorites! I am a huge fan of Ji Chang Wook, and Nam Ji Hyun did a fantastic job as well. Even the side characters which I usually don't really connect to were interesting and engaging.  I really hope this is not Korea's real legal system though..

I do not know why I liked this show so much because it can get crazy random and the story line is decent but not amazing yet I could not stop watching it! Hysterical show! Great cinematography!

I lost interest in this show after she returns from her vacation, but the beginning  episodes I have watched many times. I love the premise of her well meaning but screwed up family forcing her to take a vacation because they tell her she has cancer! HAHA wow, so wrong. Maybe I will continue with this.. someday. Watch the beginning!

This show was amazing! I know it is a weird concept but they set it up really well and it is not slow. I love Shison Jun's character development. If nothing else the intro song is AWESOME! #Earworm!

This was my VERY FIRST DRAMA and a bit of a culture shock. I really liked the chemistry between them even though he looks like he wants to kill her half the time somehow it works.. side characters were hard to watch sometimes.

Great show just it got very heavy in the political drama towards the end. I really like the romance and action but boring chess like schemes are not my cup of tea.

The story is awesome! She wants to get back to her glory days and he is a personal trainer/ Doctor McDreamy. Super funny and well done! I liked the direction they chose to take with it and how it was realistic. The ending was a bit..ehh, they dropped the ball a bit but tied everything together nicely. The chemistry between these two is so much fun.

I really like James Ma and the dramas he picks are always so interesting. The story was awesome and I have watched this all the way through twice now! Which is huge for me! Seriously just watch the first episode!

I really liked the casting and story line, you get sucked in right away. My low rating is for a reason! Show you know what you did! I would still recommend watching it though.

Great show. Superb acting and story. I felt it was a little boring and I skipped a bit of the side characters plot even though it is all related..I made up for it by reading it on Dramabeans http://www.dramabeans.com/2014/12/healer-episode-1/

This was very funny and well casted (the main actor was so amazing!) with really great plot twists and surprising (but dark) story developments.

I realllly liked the chemistry between this REAL LIFE COUPLE! Sad hey split up :( So cute you can see they truly love(d) each other. The story was good but lost traction as it went I think..

I LOVED how this show was set up. It is the most overused plot I know but seriously they did a fantastic job. The music just turned it up a notch on the funny/cringy scenes I watched the whole show intent on skipping the boring parts and I never really had to. Just get past the first episode. I love the main actors they are so cute together. 

Scene: My favorite one is where they are all playing in the water (Ep. 9). You can tell all the cast members are such great friends and you honestly can not help but smile and have a ball with them. (Spoilers)

After W I wasn't sure if Lee Jon Suk was just a stoic actor or that was his character.. but I was pleasantly surprised with I Hear Your Voice, Pinocchio and While You Were Sleeping.  He did a great job and his characters are more animated and fun. I loved the plot of the show ( I am a sucker for mind reading shows)

I found this show a little slow..I felt like a lot of it could have been compressed I skipped the first episode completely (just read it on Dramabean) but it starts to pick up..eventually..

This was a short cute drama that I watched one Sunday morning. Not amazing but it will still get your heart fluttering.. 

Update: Actually this was not short it is 20 episodes...weird I need to rewatch I thought it ended strange..

This was another one that I wasn't really sure why I liked it. It hooks you immediately and then your just kind of invested in the story after that. It is a pretty predictable plot but I just love the main actors, they are really interesting. 

Scene: (The drunk scene Ep. 1) You really won't be able to find any clips online and the MV's have spoilers. Just watch the first episode ( I watched on Dailymotion) it is really not a slow show.

My confession: I did not watch this whole show. I only watched Ep. 9-10 with Ji Chang Wook..

Warning this girl is a psycho! but I thought the plot of this one was well done and pretty unique even though it is your typical girl who hates men falls in love kind of plot. The tropes and hi jinks are so much fun and the story was original and really sucked you in... that's a whole lot of contradictions but its good lol.

Scene: This whole show is available on YouTube ( and I just found that SJDK Fan Sub has it on Facebook)  but Ep. 2 when he confronts her at her apartment.

I liked the mystery throughout this show and the two leads are just so cute. I thought it was funny how violent she would be and he would only try to protect himself. She kind of annoyed me in that way but I like how he took care of this problem ;) hehe

I love the interaction between the two leads from the moment they meet. I originally started watching this because it had Mik in it but the two leads quickly got my attention as well as Mik's side romance. The story was also pretty cool and draws you in quickly.

I did not get too into this show. It was well made and was interesting enough. The plot was just lacking for me..

This guy can really hold a grudge. In Refresh Man she was so horrible to him for so long when they were younger that his vendetta makes more sense but in this she did ONE thing.. Other than that the story was okay not too draggy and kept my interest.

Scene: Hard to find a clip online but the MV's are good.

I really liked the actors in this. The main girl was so expressive and fresh and the two male leads did a great job (except maybe the crying scenes but those are tough) I feel so bad for the kids at this school and I hope this is not a true reflection of their educational system..

I am currently watching (trying to watch) this show. I really like the leads I have followed both their work and the premise of the show is really interesting (reminds me of Stay With Me with her memory loss) I am looking forward to this show and will update when I am finished.

Cute drama about an older career lady and a younger guy. Not much to the plot except fantastic chemistry between the leads and superb character development. Oh and there is a little bit of a mystery/scary damsel in distress situation around Ep. 3-4.

This show has it's many flaws and typical Thai drama issues (rape threats, crazy murderous family members, emotional/physical and mental abuse) but besides how much the mother drove me absolutely bonkers it was an interesting show and I loved the chemistry between the main actors.

This was a great kind of West Side Story like drama. I got really involved with all the characters and the cinematography was great! I wished the female lead wasn't so meek but maybe that's how she was able to handle such dangerous men.. 

Scene:  The MVs are pretty good.

This was the 2nd Drama I watched and again it was a little bit of a culture shock. This was good I really liked the first bit of the show  but I lost interest when he starts to be nice to her lol how crazy is that!

So this is on Netflix and kind of a why not drama for me. It was cute and I really need to rewatch it to give you my honest opinion I did not give it my full attention..

I liked this show. If you can get past the low budget-ness and slightly bad acting. Mik and Stephany Auernig are so cute together (They are also leads in Talay Fai) and the story was interesting enough.

The grandmother drove me nuts with her stubbornness and I felt for all the characters that had to deal with her, but the chemistry for these two was awesome! The show tries to make her seem really young and him really old but keep in mind he is just really tall and she is really short but in real life he is 25 and she is 21 (currently) so it is not creepy. I felt I needed to justify that.

Scene: I can't find any scenes but the MV's are good. I like all the times he picks her up hehe.

After watching Kluen Cheewit I wanted more Yaya (my first girl crush since Nina Dobrev..do I have a type?) Everyone said Nadech and Yaya had the best chemistry (because they are a real copule) so I decided to check it out.  I really liked the plot. I am a sucker for island themes and this one was probably my all time favorite in that department. And, unlike Love Now the plot still remained interesting, if not more so, when the show took things to the city. 

Scene: So clips are hard to find and MV's are misleading, you'll think Nadech is a total a**hole but if you follow the story..well he still acts like an a**hole but he has his reasons. 

I thought this looked interesting and the MV's were good but I don't know, I just lost interest when they switched the direction of the plot (backwards?) Anyways if you watch it the first couple episodes are aight.

Nadech did a fantastic job! He is not just a pretty face..and body..he can really act! I constantly thought he was actually two people. People complain that he was too mean to her and didn't deserve her in the end but have you watched any Thai dramas? They are all that way haha.

This was not my favorite drama. Sorry I know it has amazing reviews but, I've had better..(Liar Liar :)I really liked the male lead. Wish he would have had the same hair style he did in the movie Real. Anyways, I really liked the characters  even the side characters were really well portrayed and written but the story line was so crazy with lots of inconceivability and I'm not even talking about the alien stuff. Wish they would have been more logical with all that..

I really needed a good Push drama after watching the horrible U Prince Handsome (slimey lying piece of sh*t) Cowboy. I don't want to talk about it. This show did a good job at keeping my interest though. I loved loved loved the vacation they took! I rewatched that about a jillion times.

Scene: I couldn't find any clips but the vacation they take is in Ep. 13 I believe.

Reason being, Ma James is in it but it is actually a pretty decent show. There are some evil characters (in pretty much every Thai drama, like pure evil) and I skipped their tirades but other than that it was interesting enough.

All you have to do is read the description of the show to get interested. Roughly: A guy who is attacked one night and gains the ability to hear women's thoughts and a girl who has two different personalities and together they catch a killer. I was happy with this show. As long as you can get past the first couple episodes.. It is a bit slow but I thought it was worth it and I am Miss Impatient.

This was a crazy drama with such an interesting plot. Although the subject matter is pretty dark it did not get too graphic which I really appreciated. The story was so interesting in the beginning but I felt it started to lose steam at the end, I don't know..

This was a cute short show I watched last weekend. I just liked the chemistry between the two and also how well behaved the male lead was (for a Thai Drama) It was light and happy.

I try really hard not to watch dramas that are currently on air. I found this though and it had four episodes available (they give you just enough rope to hang yourself) sigh* now I am waiting each week for new ones, FML (#first world problems). Update I still haven't finished this but I will!

This was a really interesting show. You have to get past the childish aspects of it and why they feel the need to fight crime in short skirts and kitten heels..(I just thought of it from an anime perspective) Once you get past that though the plot was so crazy and I love all the little side stories and characters. Pretty great acting actually. 

Scene: I like the MV's for Wang Charlie and Feng (?) they were my favorite couple. 

I tried watching this a while ago and recently got interested again and actually finished it. It is so hard to see how hateful these characters are towards one another when they clearly have off the chart chemistry and interest for one another! It gets better I promise. I loved the last 15 or so episodes. 

Scene: The MV's are great maybe a little spoiler-y but definitely get you interested in the show. 

This was another show I went back and forward about. I was new to Lakorns and the rape scenes confused me, this is the main Hero!? Then as I watched more and more I found out they are kinda unavoidable for Thai Dramas, which is sad but..anyways I really like Push even though his acting in this one wasn't awesome. 

Scene: Watch the MV's but they do have spoilers. 

I initially was going to skim this one but then I got sucked in. I loved the plot and I was pleased with how they incorporated the message of conservation without getting too preachy. The characters were well done. I wasn't a huge fan of the casting for the male lead. I felt like he just wasn't as into it as everyone else but all in all a great short show.

Scenes: MV's aren't very good just try the first 2 episodes.

Super great show, I loved every minute of it! A fun spin on your typical rich guy poor girl (alien) story. Loved the two main actors they did such a great job and had some fun chemistry! Plenty of plot holes but that's just something you have to get used to with most dramas.
