couples with healthy relationships/reverse power status

epitome of a healthy relationship. the second lead is toxic at times but there is no unnecessary love triangle. the female lead is very certain about her feelings towards the male lead from pretty early on in the drama. the male lead is pretty oblivious at first because he is very professional and can be considered cold but they have a very well paced romance they don't engage in any behaviour that the other might be hurt from they respect each other and just generally have a very healthy relationship.

very healthy couple. a very chill drama with a very chill couple. nothing toxic just them being cute and carrying on the goblin legacy.

second male lead is as toxic as they get but main couple is very healthy, protect each other, care for each other, love each other. your everyday cute couple.

yes the male lead is a robot but hey he is a respectful man and i respect that so they make the list. my favorite thing about this couple was that the male lead is an actual robot who is very hard to kill but the female lead is his bodyguard so we have ourselves here a very badass female lead. very good dynamic.

this drama has one of my favorite couples. their entire dynamic is built on the male lead being the cutest puppy and and the female lead who is also a single mother and someone who has given up on romance slowly tearing down her walls for him. male chases female first trope but in a very cute not pushy and totally not in a toxic way. they do have their own set of difficulties but nonetheless they have the cutest relationship.

a drama about woman power so it would be pretty impossible to have a toxic male lead/relationship and it does not disappoint. the main couple is very realistic, romantic line about different expectations in a relationship/age difference(older woman/younger man)but i think the main attraction of this drama is the second couple which is consisted of a very badass female lead(queen lee da hee) and a very puppy like male lead and they have a great dynamic.

another drama with the main attraction being the second couple (again with lee da hee that woman is the queen of badass female leads) this couple has the storyline that the male lead wants to be a priest so they face certain difficulties but they also have a very good dynamic of having a strong female lead and a softer male lead.

so this drama has a great main couple but a greater second couple and the for the purposes of this list i will focus on the second couple. another strong female lead/loves her badassness male lead couple. the female starts off being in love with the main lead of the drama and her feelings shift as the male lead pursues in a way he makes her feel important and and tell her that she is an amazing woman.

spoiler alert; a very sad ending for them :')

so the felame lead is a some thousand year old keeper of a magical hotel and the male lead is the new menager there. they start with the classic bickering but nothing toxic and the female lead is definilty in the top position. they develop pretty slowly i'd say but in a very well paced way.

another one that could be considered toxic but not really maybe just rude. so the female lead has experienced severe traumas in her past and is very angry to the world and everyone in it because of it. the male lead who is an angel, not in a realyl good person way but an actual angel and he stars working as her caretaker. a classic trope of bickering a lot like kids at first but in time the male lead softens the female lead and shows her the beauties of life. he is very puppy like and even though the female lead is pretty rude to him at first he does talk back and it's fun to watch their dynamic and as the show develop they fall hard in love very intensely.

definitely some toxic aspects from the female leads side but it arises from her having antisocial personality disorder. she starts of basically stalking him and pushing him into a relationship but he doesn't give in until he sees her soft side and starts falling for her too. i appreciate this drama on another level because they deal with a very difficult subject of having a relationship storyline that contains someone with a personality disorder and one that contains inclinations of violence as well. but i think they deal with it in a pretty good way never sugarcoating it but also never establishing her as the villian just as someone who feels different from other people and in their own way.

a very good example of a toxic couple/healthy couple. so this is the only very obvious love triangle drama on this list so i will address the male leads as 1 and 2 so the female lead and 1's relationship starts of solely of a physical relationship because 1 found out that his best friend 2 was in love with the female lead and for some evil reason decided to kiss her. they fall in love in a day or so because they're young and young love i guess i dunno i never understood their relationship and so they break up as stupid as a reason as they started dating and we time jump about three? years where the female lead and 2 meet again (2 is the perfect male lead and the only thing he did wrong in the entire drama was not confessing his feelings sooner and also staying friends with 1 after the shit he pulled too) 2 is more mature and self confident now and finally confesses his feelings and they start a very mature, considerate of each others feelings relationship that is not based on any psychical contact but a healthy communication.

so this is not even close being a romance drama but it has the smallest amount of romance and  all the (almost) couples are so well written makes you wish it was a romance drama. my favorite was jaehoon and jisoo they were the perfect pair because they didn't match well at all and i think that was the attraction of it. i also really liked yuri and sangwook who were the only tough guy trope i approved because he was only soft for yuri. again none of them were actually a couple btw.

spoiler alert; a very very bad ending for both couples it is a very depressing drama as a whole but a very good one at that.

another non-romance drama with hints of romance. i should fist say that the male lead is a zombie. the main leads' dynamic is very fun to watch as they bicker, protect each other, trust each other and you can sense that the female lead has a bit of a crush on the male lead. i wish something romantic had happened between them but regardless they have a very good dynamic.

BONUS: so this is a bonus drama both because it doesn't have any obvious romance just very strong hints of it as the male lead has a huge crush on the female lead at first and the female lead definitely returns those feelings as times goes by but they never get together and because both of the leads are super toxic i feel like their toxicness cancelles each other's toxicness and makes it an incredibly intriguing dynamic to watch.
