1. Drinking Solo
Korean Drama - 2016, 16 episodes
Drinking Solo - This is a drama focusing on the life of students and teachers, as they help each other prepare for the civil servant exam. I think this is a good palate cleanser drama. Even though it isn't the most polished, thought provoking, or "high brow" drama out there, it is still worth watching for its quirkiness, tongue-in-cheek humor, and scenes that will make you want to grab a beer to drink along with the characters. For kdrama veterans, there are a fair share of references to other dramas and movies. And also a highlight are the performances by Ha Seok-jin, SHINee's Key, and Gong Myung, along with some fun cameos. - u/eal8

Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo - Set in a university, it revolves around a group of friends and the ups and downs of becoming successful in the world of sports. 3. My ID is Gangnam Beauty
Korean Drama - 2018, 16 episodes
My ID is Gangnam Beauty - features a group of college freshman, where the FL had always been insecure about her looks and undergoes extensive plastic surgery before starting college. She goes from hating herself for being ugly, but even though she is now beautiful she is still terribly insecure about having looks that are clearly the result of plastic surgery. The ML is gorgeous and reserved and falls for the FL gradually despite her insecurities. The secondary FL is naturally beautiful but also very insecure despite meeting all typical beauty standards. Great redemptive arcs for both of the FLs. - u/PrizeReputation7

5. Go Back Couple
Korean Drama - 2017, 12 episodes
Go Back Couple - a 12 eps drama about a married couple who hate each other find themselves travelling back to their 20-year-old university body where they first met. This is as hilarious as it is emotional. It not just follows the MCs, but their friends and crushes too. So it becomes more of an ensemble piece about university life. There's plenty of showcase of college life as each character has a different set of issues to overcome. - u/RayInRed

7. Cheese in the Trap
Korean Drama - 2016, 16 episodes
Cheese in the Trap - The drama is about the lives of people in university, how their chance encounter leads to mishaps and unfortunate events. Perhaps the chance encounter also leads to some happy and good memories and moments. While some bonds are made for lifelong, some unfortunately don’t last long. It’s a good drama with some real characters. It’s based on the WebToon of the same name. - u/Fatooz

Korean Drama - 2020, 16 episodes
Do You Like Brahms? - The FL is still attending grad school for Music, she’s a struggling violinist who realized her dream a little late in life. She loves the violin but doesn’t have the talent. The drama also focuses on the lives of other people who are struggling in the music department in order to make it big, and all these people are with different range of talent. 11. Heartstrings
Korean Drama - 2011, 15 episodes
Heartstrings - This is an underrated drama, it’s about university students studying music. There are different people, some who enjoy traditional music while others that enjoy western music. But more than that the drama depicts the struggles of these university students as they realize their dreams, make mistakes and learn from them. It’s an old but feel good and heartwarming drama. It’s clichéd but still enjoyable. - u/Fatooz

Korean Drama - 2018, 32 episodes
The Great Seducer / Tempted - The two FLs are studying in university and it shows the lives of people in their early 20s. It shows the struggles and the mistakes of these youngsters and how they overcome the problems in their lives. The characters are complex but somewhere it’s easy to connect to them. Plot wise it’s ok, the chemistry is really good and the cast was also really nice. - u/Fatooz

13. Live
Korean Drama - 2018, 18 episodes
Live - its about 3 characters deciding to study to become civil servants and join a patrol division as rookie cops. It provides a more realistic and mundane POV on police work. This one starts with 2 people being jobless and then studying like crazy to pass the civil service exam, and then the police academy, and like going to riots (which is one of the first shots). They then get accepted and become rookie cops, but even after the police academy it's still very education centred for them (in my opinion) - u/hotelroom404
