Completed Taiwanese Dramas
Taiwan makes fewer shows but lots of the stuff they make is hella gay and they've actually legalised same sex marriage, so you best believe I feel more comfy watching Taiwanese BLs. They've also made all the OG straight romance stories in the 2000s that have been adapted tons, and sometimes the original is best

1. Be Loved in House
Taiwanese Drama - 2021, 12 episodes
Why is barely anyone talking about how this is basically a gay remake of Just You? I mostly enjoyed this but there were some bland moments
-
2. Be Loved in House Special
Taiwanese Special - 2021, 1 episode
This was kinda annoying as a special ep, should have been used as flashbacks during the main show
-
3. You're My Destiny
Taiwanese Drama - 2008, 24 episodes
THE classic, the female leads' growth in confidence was iconic. This is the kinda show that makes you binge it in one go, and leaves you saying; they just don't make romcoms like this anymore
Though the scene with the trains and rockets in ep 2 was the most ridiculously iconic, if you know what I mean...
-
4. HIStory2: Boundary Crossing
Taiwanese Special - 2018, 8 episodes
The first bl I ever watched, and whilst I can't seem to remember any of it I have a warm and fuzzy feeling when I recall it, so am planning to rewatch
-
5. HIStory3: Trapped
Taiwanese Special - 2019, 20 episodes
Beau-ti-full enemies to lovers, that dancing in the club for jealously points scene was so good I replayed it three times in a row
-
6. Just You
Taiwanese Drama - 2013, 21 episodes
That poor goldfish had a hard life man.
Really didn't like the gender essentialist vibes this was giving off, otherwise was a solidish romcom.
-
7. Triad Princess
Taiwanese Drama - 2019, 6 episodes
Are we ever gonna get a season 2? Netflix just why oh why have you started making then consequently cancelled good things such as this outside of the english speaking world now? You're doing so well with your kdramas, so step up your game
-
8. We Best Love: Forever the First
Taiwanese Drama - 2021, 6 episodes
Was executed well (carried by the actors), but I don't wanna brush Shi De's behaviour under the carpet: mans did some manipulative shit
-
9. We Best Love: The Runner-Up Strikes Back
Taiwanese Drama - 2021, 6 episodes
Once again carried by the actors, moreover that scene was sexual assault, no brushing it under the carpet on my watch
-
10. MARS
Taiwanese Drama - 2004, 13 episodes
Aged badly, yet simultaneously was before its time. A masterpiece for the early 2000s, but today certain issues in this show would be handled better and there would be no homophobic vibes surrounding the presentation of Tong Dao. Stellar performances meant the low production value didn't matter
