BL Things (⁠ ⁠˶⁠ ⁠❛⁠ ⁠ꁞ⁠ ⁠❛⁠ ⁠˶⁠ ⁠)

hi, guys...

I have been watching BL for a few years now, I still remember watching Lovesick, and seeing how much that genre has grown really amazes me to this day, having masterpieces like Kinnporsche, Theory of Love, I told sunset about you, and many more make me so happy.

But recently I have seen this debate on love parings and I wanted to know what you guys think about it.

I was scrolling the comments on a Man Suang post and ppl were pissed that Mile seemed to be just a side character and that the movie might not be BL at all? I personally think it's healthy to act with other actors, they can show that they are comfortable and able to have chemistry with other ppl.
i feel like actors who kick start their career to fame with BL almost mostly get stuck in it because of the unhealthy amount of shipping and fans not wanting to see them act with anyone else.
And i do understand why that happens cuz the companies themself promote the couples like how K-pop groups are promoted( with fan meetings, fan merch, and even concert shows) so I understand the concept of paring.

so i wanna know will love paring still be a thing in the future, do you think it's a good concept to keep?

This mostly occurs in Thai BLs, and I really don't like it at all. It limits actors from what I can see. But, the industry will do what the fans want in order to earn the most money out of them.

ouh yes tbh at first I was very confused by this idea cuz before watching Thai BL I thought this concept was a Thai thing like the company uses the same actors from the company to act in the series. But then found out that this love paring is exclusively for BL which I don't understand why, but on the other hand oversexualizing gay couples is becoming very common.  

and I guess ppl do love to see their ship sailing ...........
