Yoon Kye Sang is confirmed for the upcoming webtoon based drama "Crime Puzzle".=
On April 9, Yoon Kye Sang confirmed his casting for the upcoming webtoon based MBC drama "Crime Puzzle." Actress Go Ah Sung is still in discussion to play the female lead role.
"Crime Puzzle" will be directed by the same director of "Dinner Mate," Go Jae Hyun PD.
Choi Jong Gill will be responsible for penning the script. Studio 329, who previously produced the Netflix original series "Extracurricular", will be producing the drama.
The upcoming drama will follow the journey of two past lovers who will face off each other again but this time as a murderer and a criminal profiler. The murderer is a former criminal psychologist who killed the criminal profiler's father. It will focus on the journey of them solving the pieces together, like a puzzle.
"Crime Puzzle" will be broadcasted through MBC with 16 episodes. The air date has not been confirmed as of yet.
Yoon Kye Sang will play the role of a a former criminal psychologist who is facing a life imprisonment sentence. He will play the role of Han Seung Min, who confessed to killing his ex-girlfriend's politician father.
"Crime Puzzle" will be Yoon Kye Sang's first drama after signing to his new agency Just Entertainment. He last appeared in the 2019 drama "Chocolate" with Ha Ji Won. The idol turned actor was also part of dramas such as "The Good Wife," "Last," "Beyond the Clouds," "The Greatest Love," and many more. Yoon Kye Sang has also been cast for the upcoming movie "Spiritwalker" with Park Yong Woo, Im Ji Yeon, and Yoo Seung Mok.
"Crime Puzzle" will be released in the second half of 2021.
