"Welcome to Samdalri" Ratings Improve, "My Happy End" Starts Strong

The JTBC drama Welcome to Samdalri scored its second-highest rating of 8.10% for episode 9 on December 30, a slight increase from its previous episode's rating of 7.91%. The K-drama remained the most-watched in its time slot. 

Despite inching closer to double-digit ratings in South Korea, Welcome to Samdalri's global popularity has dwindled. The K-drama didn't make it to Netflix Global Top 10 list (non-English) from December 18-December 24. Nevertheless, the rom-com retains its popularity in Asian countries such as Bahrain, Indonesia, Kuwait, Malaysia, Maldives, and Taiwan, among others.
