Upcoming film "Decibel" confirms its star-studded cast!

Upcoming movie "Decibel" announces its cast lineup!

On April 28, it was announced that Kim Rae Won, Lee Jong Suk, ASTRO's Cha Eun Woo, Jung Sang Hoon, Park Byeong Eun, Lee Sang Hee, and Jo Dal Hwan are confirmed to join the upcoming film. The movie will be directed by Hwang In Ho who also directed "Spellbound" and "Monster.”

"Decibel" begins when a bomb that is sensitive to sound is found in the center of the city. This terror attempt follows an earlier incident a year ago in a submarine. Officials such as the submarine commander, reporter and a representative from the Defense Security Support Command collaborate in order to stop the bomb.

The star-studded cast already began filming for "Decibel" on April 20. 

For this movie, Kim Rae Won will play the character of Kang Do Young, a submarine commander. "Decibel" will be Kim Rae Won's next project after his tvN drama "L.U.C.A.: The Beginning" with Lee Da Hee.

Lee Jong Suk will play the role of a Navy captain who is loyal to his crew. 2021 might be a busy year for Lee Jong Suk with many projects on his sleeve. Currently he’s reviewing offers from the upcoming drama "Big Mouth.” As for films, he will be making a special appearance on "The Witch: Part 2. The Other One.”

Lastly, Cha Eun Woo will play the role of a young sailor in the Navy who's responsible for the sonar detection. This movie will be Cha Eun Woo's debut in the big screen. The idol-actor has been active in promoting with ASTRO and appearing as main lead in dramas. Aside from being part of the cast of "Decibel", Cha Eun Woo is also joining  the upcoming OCN drama "Island: Season 1" with Kim Nam Gil.
