The long wait is over as "Boston 1947" will finally be released this year.
On January 17, it was officially confirmed that the much-anticipated film "Boston 1947" starring Ha Jung Woo, Yim Si Wan, Bae Sung Woo, Kim Sang Ho, Park Hyo Joo, Lee Seung Joon, and Park Eun Bin will air in the Korean National Holiday Chuseok (Korean Thanksgiving Day) which will be in September.
The release date of the film was confirmed through the new release of the poster.
"Boston 1947" will reveal the journey of Korean athletes who participated in the 1947 Boston International Marathon, the first international marathon held since World War II.
In the newly launched poster, the three main characters are shown speeding up their training ahead of the marathon.

"Boston 1947" will be directed by Kang Je Gyu ("Tae Guk Gi: The Brotherhood of War" and "Salut D'Amour") and written by Lee Jung Hwa ("The Attorney" and "Way Back Home").
The film was filmed in South Korean and Australian locations.
This will be one of the many upcoming movies of Ha Jung Woo. Aside from "Boston 1947," the actor will also lead the films "Night Trip," "Andre Kim," "Hijacking," "Lunar Eclipse," and "Along with the Gods 3." The actor was last seen in the Netflix original series "Narco-Saints" with Hwang Jung Min, Park Hae Soo, Jo Woo Jin, and Yoo Yeon Seok.
Meanwhile, this will be the second film of Yim Si Wan for the year. The idol actor will first star in the upcoming movie "Unlocked" with Chun Woo Hee, Kim Hee Won, Kim Ye Won, Park Ho San, and Jeon Jin Oh which will premiere next month.
