According to several reports on July 15th Sung Hoon was cast as the male lead for the upcoming Korean remake of Venezuela's 2002 series "Jane The Virgin." Previously, it was announced that Im Soo Hyang will take on the role of the female lead.
Sung Hoon's agency Stallion Entertainment confirmed the reports, stating that the actor is still reviewing the drama.
The Korean remake will be titled "Miss Mom Jane" and is set to be written and directed by Jeong Jeong Hwa. It will reportedly begin its filming this coming September.
"Miss Mom Jane" will revolve around Jane who promised her grandmother that she will stay as a virgin until she gets married. She suddenly became pregnant because of a doctor's mistake of performing artificial insemination during a regular checkup.
