After playing the role of a doctor this year, Park Shin Hye will possibly jump into the law genre in a new K-drama.
On September 22, media outlet Hankyung released an exclusive report stating that Park Shin Hye will be the main lead of the upcoming K-drama The Judge From Hell.
According to the report, this will be Park Shin Hye's follow-up project after the upcoming JTBC K-drama Doctor Slump with ZE: A's Park Hyung Sik, Yoon Park, Kong Seong Ha, Jang Hye Jin, and Hyun Bong Sik.
The Judge from Hell revolves around a cruel and vicious judge who only wants power for herself and meets a detective with a warm and lively personality who always puts the victim's welfare first.
The upcoming K-drama will be produced by Studio S, a subsidiary specializing in SBS content production.
Park Shin Hye will reportedly play the role of Kang Bit Na, a problematic judge who doesn't trust the perpetrators but also does not feel any compassion for victims.
There is no official confirmation yet on the release date of the upcoming law K-drama.
Meanwhile, Park Shin Hye's side hasn't responded to the circulating casting reports.
Park Shin Hye has played different roles in her entire career. She has starred in several genres of K-dramas and has always nailed the characters. Many are already anticipating how Park Shin Hye will portray the judge character with the worst personality.
The actress will make her grand return to K-dramas this year through Doctor Slump. Park Shin Hye was last seen in the 2021 K-drama Sisyphus: The Myth with Cho Seung Woo, Kim Byung Chul, Sung Dong Il, Tae In Ho, and Chae Jong Hyeop.
