According to OSEN, Channel A has confirmed that episode 7 of the weekend drama Marry Youwhich was scheduled to air on December 7, will be canceled.

Instead, Marry You will air both episodes 7 and 8 on December 8.

A Channel A representative also told OSEN, "Our weekend drama Marry You will be canceled on December 7. Instead, episodes 7 and 8 will air consecutively on December 8, and a special news report is scheduled to be broadcast on December 7."

Marry You tells the story of Jung Ha Na (Jo Soo Min), a civil servant who doesn't believe in marriage. To escape from the "Marriage Encouragement Team," she goes to great lengths to marry off Bong Cheol Hui (Lee Yi Kyung), an island bachelor.

This decision comes in the aftermath of the martial law declaration by South Korea's President Yoon Suk Yeol.

On the night of December 3, at around 10:30 p.m., President Yoon Suk Yeol declared martial law from the Presidential Office in Yongsan, Seoul. However, the National Assembly passed a resolution demanding the repeal of martial law with unanimous approval from 190 parliament members, leading to its termination at 5:30 a.m. on December 4.

Subsequently, an impeachment motion against President Yoon was introduced in the National Assembly, with a vote scheduled for December 7.
